Auster was even more irritable and cranky than usual. He never breathed a word of what was bothering to Mahdi, but it was obvious that something was. There were times when he didn't say anything to her for days and when he did, it usually was short clipped phrases. He was clearly upset.

Mahdi had noticed but Auster was normaly a bit of a grump so it wasn't until he'd gone a few days barely talking that she realized it was a little more serious, "Auster?"
