Beejoux Eternal Sailor Navi– DMC Note: The Wraith is a rouge wraith, but you can still summon your own wraith and have it act as rebellious/obedient as you wish. Just be aware that exposing your wraith does place it in danger if it decides to absorb energy as it becomes more corporeal and thus attackable. Wolframite was patrolling with Leucite, a lieutenant he had yet to meet and wanted to make sure knew the ropes of the Negaverse. Today's mission was to see how the officer patrolled and to see if they collected energy orbs efficiently. Already having three orbs in hand, the General was atop a branch in the park, looking over to the other branch where the other officer was. "Next person to come by, steal their energy. It's late. There shouldn't anyone about." He informed the officer, waiting as he heard a rustle from down the trail. It was tall, that was for sure, but he thought little of it.
"Stay on guard." He informed, and then signaled to Leucite that it was his turn. ((Up to you if it's a person or wraith. I'm sure the rogue wraith will appear with energy being about so don't feel rushed.))

Leucite was not particularly fond of being observed, but this was a general - and that meant that what he said, went. Not that Leucite didn't feel that he wasn't capable - far from it. He was just new, and that meant that the higher ups would want to run him through his paces. It was fair enough he supposed. He was actually about to quip at the general about the paradox of his statement when he heard the rustle from down the trail himself. Well maybe there was someone about the park at this hour. Sure enough a night-time jogger came rolling by their hiding spot. Leucite prepared himself and as soon as the jogger was about to pass, he dropped down, grabbed the jogger in a sleeper hold (making sure to cover his mouth as well to avoid him making any noise) and then with a quick leap got back up on the branch again, holding the poor man against the trunk of the tree as one hand stayed on his mouth and the other on his chest. He managed to keep one part of his mind focused on keeping his energy radar up - just in case a senshi or a knight came roaming. The rest of his focus went straight to draining the jogger's energy, as quickly as possible. MoonKitsune Decided to go ahead and go with a human first.

Valhalla had been hoping not to run into any trouble on his way home from patrol, but he couldn’t ignore the auras of two Negaverse officers in the vicinity. It wasn’t so much curiosity as it was the feeling of duty he couldn’t explain. He wanted to make sure the people of the city were safe, and he couldn’t just stand back and allow people to get hurt.
“What are you doing?” he called out as soon as he was close enough. Since he could feel their auras, he was sure they would have felt his if they were paying any bit of attention, but whatever their intention out in the park was that night... he didn’t approve of.
“Show yourself,” he called up into the trees, not quite as concerned about the Lieutenant’s presence as he was the General’s. It was too dark to see if he recognized either of them, but as he gripped at his gyrocompass, the small embedded stones seemed to glow with residual magic.
“Come down or I’ll bring you down.” He wasn’t in a playing mood that night, and although he wasn’t entirely sure what his magic did, he wasn’t afraid of finding out.

It was fortunate for Valhalla that Navi wasn't one of the more aggressive members of her Court. At one point she had been, and her hatred for the knights was a burning thing, but through the years she had begun to mellow, and that vendetta had faded. Now they were little more then a puzzling annoyance. The Eternal of Tumbleweeds had bigger things to worry about this night then the the other auras she felt in the park. The wraith she had released to gather energy had slide through her target, but instead of returning to the shard had sped off and away. It was startling and unheard of, and the dark senshi was in the process of streaking after it as she wound it's way through the park. Currently headed for the small cluster of conflicting power sources. One of which felt familiar, though not in a good way.

Wolframite was impressed by how swift and effective the Lieutenant was, snatching the jogger in one fowl swoop and back up the tree to hide his deed and to be able to be safe up in the branches where interruption was less likey. It meant he could set the body back down in some bushes while watching for any other joggers dumb enough to go this way.
While he let Leucite work, he turned his head when he felt a power signature that wasn't quite a senshi. His best bet was a knight, and as it drew close to start trouble, he heard a familiar voice.
At the command to come down, Wolframite smiled to Leucite. "That's cute. He's threatening us. Finish up with the jogger and set him down safely somewhere off the path. I'll tend to this for now."
Dropping down from the branches with ease, the General crossed his arms and looked over at Valhalla. "I know we've talked before, but don't make threats when you are outmatched - especially to me." They might be on somewhat friendly terms, but commands from anyone other than his superiors were not tolerated.
He did notice a change in the knights attire. "Congrats." He gestured to the outfit. "But again, don't let your new rank make you dumb. I'm still stronger than you." Not that he wanted to fight.
Just as he was looking at the knight, his concentration broke. He felt other Chaos signatures come this way, but he hadn't noticed until now just HOW fast they were moving this way. He just thought they were in the park to collect, but at that speed, it felt like a set of Negas with an emergency.
Confused, he stepped to the right to look behind Valhalla to wait for whatever was coming. What he did not expect was a large wraith to break from the bushes and come barreling there way.
"Oh s**t!" He jumped back and summoned his weapon.

Leucite nodded, not wanting to break his concentration from the task at hand while the general went to go address the "interruption." As soon as he was finished with the jogger, and had the energy securely tucked away, he tossed the now unconscious man over his shoulder and leaped down to the other side of the walk way, dumping the body in bushes before returning to the tree. As he neared the tree he reached out with his other sense and felt the now familiar aura of the General, what he thought was a member of the other side, and two other signatures he didn't really recognize. Frowning, he slipped behind the trunk of the tree, watching the encounter as the General jumped back and readied his weapon. Leucite readied his own, and waited behind the tree for the next move. Sometimes having someone in reserve was a good thing.

Valhalla frowned as Wolframite appeared before him, but it was more of a sad frown than anything. “You know I don’t want to fight,” he reminded the General. Their meetings in the past should have been a clear enough indication as to how Valhalla would react, but he knew better than to challenge the officer.
He opened his mouth to ask about the other powered signature he felt in the area, but was distracted just as Wolframite had been, and lept out of the way of the wraith. Compass pointed at the creature, a beam of green light made contact with it, causing the wraith to immediately flip onto the ground, instead of lunging at the General.
Negaverse or not, he didn’t want anyone getting hurt. “Are you okay?” he called, letting the ghoul writhe on the ground before breaking his magic’s contact with it and watched as it disappeared into the bushes to the right.
“There’s a Dark Mirror Senshi around,” he called to the General and the new Lieutenant that appeared, whirling around to try and isolate the aura he felt.

There was indeed a Dark Mirror Senshi around. Eternal Sailor Navi had drawn close enough that see the knight fend off the rouge mirror wraith, and she pursed her lips as she regarded the scene. Taking her time to watch as she moved through the shadows. Her suspicion was confirmed when she caught sight of Wolframite, and her lip curled before she could control it. Of all the soldiers in the Negaverse, it would be him that she would run into while her Wraith was out of control. She emerged from the dark shadows of the nearby trees with her head up, shoulders back, and hips rolling with every quiet step. Obviously if she could see them, then they could no doubt feel her, so remaining hidden was useless. "So very astute," she purred at the night, soft voice carrying the edge of a growl. Hazel eyes turned to the general next, and she smiled sweetly at him. "You wouldn't happen to have seen my minion come gliding through here, hmm?" They would blame her, she was certain of it. No matter how much she insisted she hadn't let the mirror wraith run amok. Wolframite, at the least, would find her guilty. He always had.

Navi knew Wolframite and his viewpoints on any Dark Court senshi well. They were always guilty, and no orders would change his opinion. They would, however keep him from full on murdering each court member he saw on sight. His trip to the Hall of Traitors had kept him from going that far.
Valhalla only got a curt nod for what he did, not that Wolframite couldn't have killed the wraith or handled it on his own. However, his concentration was on Navi, who he glared at. "Keep on guard, Leucite." He ordered, not explaining or feeling the need to explain why he said that. The Dark Court never could be trusted.
"Gliding? More like rampaging its why through the woods. Even with our support, you can't even handle your own fraction. Feral youma are better trained." He said, and then perked up. He had a nice idea.
"But.." He said sweetly, drawing his weapon into his hands. "...since we are just such super great friends and allies, " How he wanted to choke at that idea. "...I can help. Let me take care of it for you."
He turned to Leucite with a smile. "Come, our friend needs help." He hoped that by the gleam of his eye, Leucite would get the point.
Turning, he bolted in the direction the wraith went. It was now a race to murder the wraith.

If General Wolframite did not feel the need to divulge any information further than be on his guard, Leucite was not going to question it. It was obviously need to know information that he wasn't in the need to know. Given time to prove his worth, maybe he would one day be privy to the whys and hows of the Dark Court and Negaverse politics. As it was, he was just going to follow orders. It was what he was good at after all. "As you command, sir." Leucite responded, following the general as he bolted after the wraith. He kept an eye on the Knight and the Dark Senshi, unsure how they were going to react, but ready to play harassment for the general if need be. He was pretty sure he was outclassed but - he'd figure something out.

Valhalla looked up as the Dark Mirror Senshi made her way out of the shadows, breathing out in relief that she wasn’t dressed in camouflage. He’d been warned by many how Leto was ruthless towards knights, and he wasn’t in the mood for a fight tonight.
“You make it sound like it needs a leash, like a dog,” he commented, his small grin wary. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” he quickly added, holding up his hands as if to show that he meant no offense.
But before he could explain himself further, it seemed as though Wolframite had other plans. While Valhalla liked to think himself on good terms with Wolframite, he wasn’t sure he liked the tone in the General’s voice.
He stared in disbelief for only a moment before darting after the two Negaverse officers. “I’m Valhalla,” he quickly introduced over his shoulder before adding, “I’m friends with Remarque, so I promise I’m not a threat to you, if you’re worried about that.”
If he was her, though… he’d be more worried about the look on Wolframite’s face and what he meant by ‘helping’...

Whatever aggression the dark senshi was feeling was directed at Wolframite alone, the lieutenant was of no concern, and the knight.. Well, if he didn't offer her violence then she'd leave him alone. The General's warning was met with a soft smile, fingers wiggling sweetly towards his underling before that sugary tone was turned back on her by Wolframite. Hazel eyes narrowed with all the talk of 'help' and 'friends' and before she knew what to think he was darting off in what she had to imagine was the direction her wraith had gone in. Whatever "help" Wolfy was offering, Navi was sure she didn't want it. The Knight, Valhalla, took off as well, but not before introducing himself. She wasn't sure she trusted him, but dropping Remarque's name helped. She gave him a nod that he might not have seen, and took off after the rest of them. The lieutenant was easy enough to catch, but Wolf was a in a whole other league. Rogue wraith or not, she couldn't let him destroy it. Shards were essential and hard to replace. This situation had bad news written all over it.

torvil Have fun with a wraith, Leucite! Wraiths were pretty fast when they weren't solid, but this one had to have wandered into some form of energy, and as Wolframite passed a fallen jogger, he grinned. It would mean he could track it better through the trees as it had no care for where it came or went as long as it fed, having a similiar mindset to a youma. It also meant it could possibly be attackable.
Getting to a picnic area, he saw the wraith standing as if gauging which direction had the highest promise of energy and turned to regard the others. It seemed a bit scarred by the knight's previous attack.
When Leucite came, he turned to him. "New training. Attack the wraith. Also, it attacked us. Remember that." He said, covering his bases and making sure the other officer knew that, if asked, this was all in self defense. (Wink. Wink.)
"You just collected some energy. See if you can lure it near you. I'll try and corral it in your direction. They aren't that strong. See if you can destroy it when it gets near you." He informed the other Nega before taking off. It would be a nice exercise.
Rushing in a semi-circle, Wolframite went around, and summoning his chains, threw them at the wraith. Unfortunately it missed, but it did cause the wraith to move back towards Leucite instead of running in another direction. Wolframite summon his weapon back, and then threw it again, herding the wraith closer to Leucite before it took notice of the other officer and the energy orb it had collected before. It charged at the officer!

Under other circumstances, Leucite probably would have returned the friendly gesture of greeting he'd received from Navi, but unfortunately - he was in full on stick-up-a** mode and so she got a curt nod in reply. He was trying to prove to Wolframite that he wasn't some complete green pup. He wanted to make a good impression on the General - even if he wasn't aware of the full political implications of his actions. So he did as the General instructed and when he sent him after the wraith, he started to circle it only to notice the General beginning to flush it toward him. Well that made it easier! As it charged him, he jumped to the side and swung his flag at it, hoping to score a hit. He had a feeling he wasn't going to want to tangle with it in hand to hand combat if he could help it. So that left him with pretty much only his flag.

The wraith did indeed seem spooked, but Valhalla knew that the attack itself hadn't hurt it. His magic didn't work like that — it didn't cause pain in and of itself, but depending on the resulting movement of whom his magic was used on... well, he's been able to dust youma with it.
"What do you think you're doing??" he called, making it to the clearing in time to see the wraith charge the Lieutenant, and the Lieutenant make an effort to attack.
There was something wrong about that picture though... While Valhalla had only seen maybe a couple wraiths before, this one didn't look very, well... solid. Even if the Lieutenant managed to hit it, Valhalla wouldn't be surprised if it passed right through the wraith.
With not much time to act, the knight leapt towards the creature, trying to maybe scare it away, before using a couple seconds of magic on the Lieutenant's attack. It wouldn't last long, but it should be enough to parry the Lieutenant's attacking swing.
"Didn't you say you'd help her??" Valhalla called to Wolframite, his compass held tightly in his hands in case it was needed, his eyes narrowing slightly. He was sure the effect wasn't very intimidating, especially for anyone who personally knew him — but he at least had the height and build that might have someone slighter back off. "Let her get her wraith."
He liked to think of Wolframite as a close acquaintance, but sometimes his actions weren't very honorable. Maybe this was just a touchy situation, as he knew Ares had something to do with unspeakable horrors Wolframite had lived though... or at least that was what he'd been told, both by Wolframite himself as well as others. If it was a grudge against what Ares had done, then fine, but this Senshi came about after the Blood Moon Court had been broken — unless she was one of those who'd been taken through the mirror that night, but he was pretty sure Kallichore told them the descriptions of all she knew.
