There was prime time stuff to eat if you took a respite from human hunting. the demon frankly wasn't sure how many were left since, judging from the lack of screaming he'd been hearing, there didn't seem to be many left. And they were all probably in hidey holes or tin cans on wheels! Bah! Humbug! Sweaty, adrenaline-filled meat seemed so appetizing if his one little grapple with that human had taught him anything, but having to work for it was so . . . hard.
Speaking of, Santa had felt a thrill through his system during that little encounter. Perhaps if he found more little morsels . . . Mmm, yessss~
He came to a stop at the crash site of one of those aforementioned tin-can-wheels, sniffing the thing out. Human scent had definitely been there, though no bodies or even parts of one where found. Boringggggg. The demon picked out a sliver of shredded tire and began to chew contemplatively, scratching under the hat as he pondered where Naughty Children could have run off to.

While smart enough to play dumb around the apes, this demon is easily led by his cravings: flesh, rubber, metal, even other creatures' Fear isn't safe once he gets a good scent in his nose and a rumble form his belly. The building had fallen, deliciously ripping apart in their hands. Sadly, there had been no humans inside, only the poor excuse of kibble that had been their regular diet until now. While it filled their rumbly tummies, it did nothing to quench their new found thirst for blood. It wasn't enough to just splinter apart boards, or tear apart drywall, Muk wanted to rip some humans. Especially that human that had made him hurt, his shoulder still aching as he dragged Luk along, searching for their next conquest.
The sight of the portly demon 'examining' one of the vehicles made Muk slow, curiosity getting the better of him as he stopped to stare. Was it a human? It had a tail and horns and Muk didn't think that humans had those, but his little brain just didn't know. Either way, it looked like it housed a lot of meat.
'Luk look, fat! We eat it? Tear it into good pieces first of course.'

Name: Muk Species: Dismemberment Goblin Park Location: Faerie Forest Physical Description:The blue one Brief Character Profile: Muk looks like your average goblin kid, albeit a cuter color. He grew up together with Luk, and the purple goblin is his best friend. They both have a basic instinct to rip things apart but due to the tempering nature of their food, this urge is kept in check and their victims are mostly non-living objects, with the occasional bug or small rodent when they can get away with it. Muk isn't very smart and he leaves the thinking up to Luk, preferring to solve his problems with his fists.
Tearing anything apart was always a pleasant thing, but Luk was getting a little tired of only shredding non-living things. They didn't make that delicious sound that started this adventure in the first place, so it kind of seemed like they were getting nowhere. And that just wasn't okay - less okay than buildings that didn't break when you tried to tear them up.
He swung his hand (and Muk's, since he was holding it) back and forth as he walked, but halted both the jovial handswinging and the walking when Muk slowed his pace and pointed something out. His eyes widened as he looked at the thing in front of them, amazed with how much there was. If they worked together, they could really get something incredible accomplished!
'Yes! You take one side! I take the other!' He released his hand and waved to the stranger. 'Hello! We will tear you apart and the tear-pieces into our mouths now!'

Luk likes to think he's kind of clever, but is generally pretty stupid and just ends up making everything worse.

He almost didn't hear that thought over the sound of chewing rubber; it kept making funny noises and overall tasted awful to boot--Boots. Boots sounded better. At least they had dirt and who knew what else tracked, and the smell of feet and flesh . . . Ah, there went his belly again.
But the scents entered his nose and Santa couldn't ignore walking meals, and so he turned with a jovial, if lopsided grin, his belly jiggling with every movement. < Oh. Appetizers! > he deduced, and his stump tail wagged just a bit. < Though you'd barely keep me full for a few minutes . . . Decisions, decisions. Have you been Naughty or Nice? > he asked them curiously, tilting his stained red hat with authority. < Santa has a list you know. A list of faces he'd love to eat~ But he does not remember you two in the walled cages and pointed juice givers. Have you seen more humans? >
Really, he was just pondering if they were worth the effort to squish and devour. They looked so thin, but preciously naive in thinking he could be eaten! Why, Santa was sad to see the children look so hungry . . .
He spat the rubber out into his claws and offered it up.

'Notty, what is notty? Is it like tasty? Are you notty?'
Muk snatched Luk's hand back, pulling the other goblin until he was safely standing behind him. He gave Luk a hard stare; Muk would take care of this, he didn't want anything to happen his Luk.
'Lukky wait, fat thing could hurt. Don't want you to hurt. I see what it gives us.'
Cautiously he stepped forward, sniffing at the offered piece of rubber. He crinkled his nose, staring at the chewed and drool-covered item, looking unimpressed. He glanced back at Luk, giving the purple goblin a small shake of his head before turning back to the demon.
'That's not even good for fun tearing. We eat you. In itty bitty notty pieces.'

Notty? Luk didn't feel notty, whatever that was. Just to be sure, though, he poked his fingers into his skin several times. Nope, just regular. He looked back up at the big creature, realized just in time that he hadn't checked to see if he was knife, and did another quick test to verify that part. Satisfied that he was neither of those things, he narrowed his eyes and presented his findings.
'Not notty, not knife! Just Muk-Luk and finding things to tear up!' He tried pantomiming again, 'holding' the opposite ends of an invisible something in either of his hands and pulling it apart over and over again. With each motion of his hands, he made a different sound effect, none of which really sounded very much like something being torn apart.
As Muk stood in front of him and tested the piece of thing that was handed to him, Luk eagerly waited, partially crouched with wide eyes. He had already begun to plan things to do with the thing when Muk deemed it worthless for tearing. Luk let out a melodramatic wail of frustration and threw his arms upwards.
'We want good things! Like maybe humans! Maybe...can help, and you get faces,' He smashed his palm against his face, in case his words weren't clear. 'Then we tear it! Pieces for Muk, pieces for Luk--'
He fell back on his actions rather than speaking, chomping his teeth together several times before glancing back and forth between Muk and the other creature with a wide smile and an expression that said well?

To make himself understand, he squinted at the blue one and mimicked his motions, tearing the chewed rubber apart after a few seconds of effort; nothing quite like his stomach acid to break down even the toughest meals! an absolutely delighted expression lit his toadish face.
< Smart one! > Santa praised, completely ignoring the thing that kept talking about eating him, as if that were possible. < Yes, you are smart one. Lead Santa to the children and we can feast ~ > He hopped in place with a muted thump and bared a grin at them as he slid his claws together. < Names! Delicious morsels have names, yes? Luk, Muk, be Santa's helpers and . . . >
The demon paused and took a step forward, discarding the rubber pieces as his nostrils flared. < Hohoho! I do smell deliciousness on you~ > he purred, catching the whiff of humans and creatures they'd been around. < You know where they are? Lead me. Santa will tear the Naughties into knots and Nices into slices! > he promised them with a lick of his lips. < And Lukmuk will get many many pieces to tear, yes. Tearing is good. Builds character. > Makes them nice and full and yummy~

(Sorry for slowness, brain is being stupid)
Muk puffed out his chest, pulling Luk up beside him and showing him off like a prized pet.
‘Of course Luk is smartest! No one smarter! But you pretty smart if give us things to tear. But not as smart as Luk. Yes, we take you. Lukky, you lead the way.’
It wasn’t that Muk didn’t know where the humans were – okay, it was exactly that. He didn’t have a clue, and his navigating skills had thus far proven to be less than satisfactory. Not enough humans, and too many guns. But still, they didn’t have to know that. Besides, he was the brawn of this operation, he was happy to let Luk be the smartest, as long as he got to be the strongest... And still look like he was in charge.
