The Kiandri dragon caught up with Kilian and Amadia in no time. The desert was it’s home and therefore could move much faster. Not to mention it could fly. Kilian cursed loudly and shot to the side just as a bolt of electricity hit in the spot he had just been in. “Amadia, you’re Kiandri, right? What do we do?” He asked of his companion. Another bolt came at them, this time, Kilian couldn’t get all the way away and was hit in his right arm. The jolt that went through him nearly threw him off his feet. “Ugh..” He moaned as his feet stumbled over each other for a second.

I’m not sure. I’ve never met with another Kiandri drakein before...let alone a dragon. Amadia grounded her teeth together and growled. There was nothing she could do at the moment but try to fight the dragon. She switched her course, trying to get herself behind the dragon. With the Kiandri’s attention on Kilian it wasn’t a hard task. As she got behind the dragon she lept into the air, extending her wings a bit to give her more balance. She came down on the dragons back, claws out and teeth bared. She sunk her sharp teeth into the dragon’s back, latching on. A roar escaped the dragon’s mouth as it lost interest in Kilian and became interested in what had attached itself to it’s back.

The dragon bucked, trying to release Amadia’s hold on it. With this distraction, Kilian brought his daggers out and went at the beast. The dragon was moving around too much. The blades of Kilian’s daggers just barely grazed the beast’s thick skin. It bucked one last time and Amadia went flying through the air, landing limp in the sand a few feet away. “NO!” Kilian roared and instantly forgot about the dragon. He took off in the direction of Amadia but never reached her. Before he could even get close to her the dragon swung it’s paw at him, claws catching him on the right shoulder and sending him flying back and into a rock that jutted up out of the sand. Kilian hit it with a thud. His vision started to fade fast.
