Tuck was pretty excited. He wasn't really sure what the hell he was doing, but he hoped that he was helping, more than anything else. When he'd first popped out of his pod there had been a dazzling few moments of utter confusion, like the world was spinning wildly out of control. He'd been lucky enough to have Stormy there to guide him, eager to answer any questions she'd been asked.

There had been a lot of questions.

He decided to hold this little pow wow in the cafeteria. There was plenty of room there, easy access to food and drink, and someone had recently baked a handful of pies that he'd nabbed. There was half of one pie missing (he'd gotten hungry, okay?), but the rest were laid out on one of the larger tables in the cafeteria.

In order to make sure that all of the interested parties showed up at their own pace, Tuck had painstakingly taped fliers on all of the doors on the first two floors of the dorms - just to make sure he didn't miss anyone.

All set up, Tuck eagerly waited. If nobody showed up?

More ******** pie for him.

Tuck was all business.

Okay, that's a total ******** lie.

Tuck was totally taking his time checking out Nevada.

There were dimples. Miles of them.

"I see lots of things I like, beautiful. You want me to start namin' them off?"

He very pointedly watched her take the bite of pie.

Makayla made her way into the cafeteria, but kept to the back as she leans against the wall. With one heel resting against the wall, she kept her arms crossed under her chest as she waits to see what this little orientation had in store.

Well, it wasn't the total truth, it also gave her a check out who was hot, and who would be fun to 'play' with. Her eyes just glancing around the room for a brief moment.

Hmm....

"Hold that thought, beautiful."

A friendly smile was tossed in Makayla's direction before Tuck turned a very seriously super stern look in Evan's direction.

"You can't grab n' go, Marine. You want some pie, you gotta stay for Orientation."

There was a pause.

"I already ate half a pie, so I ain't hungry for more."

Nevada got a heated look.

It said, ain't hungry for pie.

Nevada continued to eat her pie as Tuck addressed the newcomer male. Her eyes fell on the new female and wondered what division she was in, even going as far as to catch her eye. But the girl was a little busy checking the eye candy and to be honest, she didn't blame her.

When Tuck's gaze returned to hers, she offered widened eyes, a smirk and a tilt of her head.

"A marine?" It wasn't that she was ignoring Tuck, but she hadn't met anyone from the military that she actually knew about. "I suppose this isn't new to you either Handsome?" This time, directed at Evan.

"I think they're all fruit pie," another heated look in Nevada's direction, and he might've mumbled something about cream pie, "and Evan, I don't give a s**t if you eat a pie or even two ********' pies, be a gentleman and say hello to th' new trainee," he jerked his chin in Makayla's direction before turning back to Nevada.

There were more heated looks.

"Cream's ******** scarce on this island. Dairy's a ******** commodity." Rep said seriously, apparently immune to confectionery based innuendo almost entirely.

The talk about cream though was making him - rather predictably - crave some hot chocolate, and he beelined to the kettle instead.
