All wiccans are considered witches but I suppose a man can be a warrlock. Most know a warrlock to be a male witch, and that is the estent of my knowledge.

warlock is a word, I think, that originated around Italy, and was used to refer to someone who betrayed his/her family or country, a thief, or in general a scoundrel of sorts. Later it was used to denote someone who practiced sorcery.

i don't know anything about warlocks. but can't some be good and some be bad, just like with any other category? and then wouldn't it depend on the definitions of good and evil? again, though, i don't know anything about them.

Warlock means 'oath breaker' and was later used to refer to a practitioner of sorcery. As far as I know ( which isn't much ), a witch is male or female.

My wife had me join so I could explain this to you. A warlock is an olde english term used to describe a hunter of witches. They also had the power and some still have the power to harness the "Aura" of psychic energy from the witch. This is done through what is referred to as a purgeing or pain ritual. It is taxing on both parties and the witch is ALWAYS subdued during this ritual. It involves a lot of abuse. I will not go into detail. I ran a "Coven" of hunters for quite a long time. Until I found enlightenment through my "Cache or horde" As it was called. We also practice strange protection and anti charm rituals. This is all done with others chi or life energy. NOT Many die but ALL get hurt dureing rituals like this. There is no sex or degradeing this is not some S&M thing that got out of hand. This happens everyday to people who are wiccan and or witches. It is sad but it happens. We are only there to destroy what you work so hard to achieve. I have not practiced for quite some time. All things were taught to me from boy hood up. Yes I still do the simple protections to keep what I have done from comeing back 10 fold.

Wow, Lotz! That's really good info! Thanks for telling us. That's so interesting! I'm gonna go research it some more now; I might even do an article on it in the webzine.
