Survival on the island is up to YOU. Scattered across various places in the damaged Wonder Park are small pockets of hope, weapons that you can try to reach in order to increase your survivability. These are often extremely risky to take and carry. Items are classified into the types below. All weapons are first come first serve. A reminder that while items are important and may save you, carrying too many will slow you down, and decrease your escape roll chance!
Weapons available: All weapons are classified by allowing you to gain attack power, but are difficult to find. They are of limited supply and may break. - Handgun They seem to be everywhere but none of them are standardized meaning the bullets for each one is frustratingly different. This one is loaded only with half ammo. You can fire three shots from the handgun. Each shot does + 3 damage on top of your normal attacks. If the normal attack is result is 0 or negative, the result with the gun is 3. (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every handgun you carry) - Shotgun A very large, unwieldy gun that is a lot more effective. This gun is loaded only with one shot. You can one shot from the shotgun. Each shot does damage equal to 50% of your opponent's REMAINING HP. (subtract 3 from your escape rolls for every shotgun you carry) - Throwing stars .... Really? Throwing stars are light but extremely difficult to use. You may only use this once. Roll a 6-sided dice. If you roll 1 or 6, you do 10 damage to your opponent. Otherwise, you do nothing. This takes up a turn. (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every set of throwing stars you carry)
Healing Items available: All healing items are classified by their ability to heal a player. These can be found in a number of areas and are of limited supply. - Polysporin This will prevent at least the infection of wounds and help your wounds heal faster. You may use this up to three times on whomever. Each use heals you +5 HP (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every polysporin you carry) - Ice pack This helps ease the pain and bruising. Phew. You may use this unlimited times. As long as you carry it, every single 24 OOC hours that pass will heal your character for +5 HP. It can only heal the person carrying it. You can use this indefinitely until discarded. Does not stack. (subtract 3 from your escape rolls for every icepack you carry) - Medkit Painkillers, gauze, a needle, thread, and anti-septic needed to treat a severe wound. You may use this once. It will heal you for 15 HP. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every medkit you carry)
Defensive Items available: The most common type of item. These ones may spare you from otherwise terrible damage or ward off enemies or even camouflage you for a bit. They may also break easily. - Chains Chains will slow an enemy down. If you fail to roll to escape, roll a 20-sided dice again. If you roll 5 or higher, you manage to escape! . You can only use this once. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every chain you carry) - Pair of Shoes It's a pretty decent pair of shoes. Maybe you can run faster with these. Your equipment load feels lighter. (add +1 to escape rolls.) You can use this indefinitely until discarded. Does not stack. - Kelvar Vest: Not the most comfortable, but better than nothing. Add +10 permanently to your HP. You can use this indefinitely until discarded. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every vest you carry) Does not stack.
SPECIAL ACCESS CARDS: - Occasionally, you may run into a SPECIAL ACCESS CARD. It looks like in the chaos, a high-level staff member has dropped it by accident! Each SPECIAL ACCESS CARD leads only to a specific area. For instance, you may find a SPECIAL ACCESS CARD labelled PARABLE POOL. You will only be able to use it for that location by finding the secret security point.
SECRET SECURITY POINTS: - If you have a special access card and you reach that specific security point, congratulations, you have found a loot and shelter area. This will provide you shelter for 24 IC hours as well as some useful loot, such as attack, healing, and defensive items.

The falls themselves seem quiet, too quiet. At first there is no sign of anything, no noise. It seems okay to move on. Around the falls lay signs of useful items, some food, some sorely needed medical kits. It feels like a trap, however.
SOMETHING MOVES...: As you move closer towards the falls, you see it, a strange half-sea monster half-tentacle demon creature that is possessively guarding everything around it. It is gnawing on the leg of-
- Well, sometimes it's best not to explain. You see the rest of the body off to the side.
MECHANICS: When you near this area, you engage in a BOSS FIGHT. The boss has 50/50 HP. If you and your team manage to successfully defeat it, you can roll for the loot below. All attacks are automatic. That means for each move you make on the boss, regardless of attack, defense, or heals, you TAKE -5 HP damage. If your hp hits 0 YOU ARE DEAD. THE END. The falls has a slight advantage in hiding in the falls itself. If you can mange to get close to the rapids, without being sucked in, you can somewhat obscure yourself from view. Once this entire battle, you can attempt to HIDE. roll a 6-sided dice. IF odd, you successfully NEGATE auto damage for the next 2 turns. HIDING takes up a turn (in where successful or not you take auto damage).
[ PRIZES ] Figment Falls has MULTIPLE PRIZES. Once an item has been claimed however, it cannot be claimed again so make sure you choose carefully! (And read which ones are claimed). You can only claim these prizes if you defeat the boss.
As soon as Dean got near the falls, his SUV's windshield fogged up.
He wiped at it frantically, letting go of the wheel as it loped along at full speed.
It hit something.
As Dean sailed through the air, he reflected on the importance of seatbelt safety.

Dean emerged from the wreckage of his SUV, gasping for air. He'd landed at the base of the falls, but there was a strange shadow blocking out the light....
He looked up. And up. And up.
A strangled noise somewhere between a scream and a sob escaped him, and he paddled frantically toward the shore.

(( BTW Fluffy came in. ))
Fluffy was in a bad mood. Not because he hated humans. Because he didn't. He'd hurt them, they'd hurt him. He wasn't sure who was wrong and who was right.
So he just didn't want to deal with ANY of them. Sadly, that wasn't working out well. They seemed to be everywhere. Usually in bits and pieces by this point. Which was why the young cerberus was mostly skulking behind the larger dragon and letting it ward things off for now. He didn't know if he should attack them or not, he just wanted a spot to himself. Which was why they'd gone to the falls. No one should be there.
But someone was... someone who'd crashed a car. And even before the canine had much of a chance to wonder what to think of that... he found something had swiped at his side and left a stinging feeling to it.
...well. Humans or not. There was a problem with that. The already cranky canine snarled openly as his gaze slid to the side to the thing that had done it. A rather possessive mess of a creature really. [DON'T!] However, it was too late. It already had. And now, now Fluffy was angry. And he had something to send that anger at. A certain mix of a monster that was taking up HIS new spot. [I'll show you who's really scary when angry.] With that final snarl the Cerberus leapt at the beast intending to take the thing down himself. Screw the human. The human hadn't hit him yet.
Sadly. Fluffy, despite liking water, was not good with it. So as soon as he hit the waters edge floundered a bit and worked to regain his footing. This was going to be interesting.
Torvil
It's picking on him! ;A;

Name: Fluffy Species: Cerberus Short Description: About chest height for a tall male human, all black with black eyes, and a bit wild looking. Only one head and is just a 'pup' of a cerberus.
That thing had hit Fluffy... and him... OH IT WAS ON! Tavast did not appreciate the tentacle to the face - so he roared and snapped back, taking some of it with him.
Fluffy managed to figure the water out about the time he got to watch it hit Tavast too. And him again for that matter. [IT IS!] Oh he was an ANGRY water logged little canine. AND HE SHOWED IT!
By promptly tearing off one of the things tentacles as it came round for another swing. That was how Fluffy said no. He ripped off somethings arm.
Torvil
HE'S ANGRY!

Fluffy had finally grown him some stones Tavast saw - he approved. He must be rubbing off on the little one. Roaring, he once again went after the other monster.
But snap as he might he couldn't get another tentacle.
Fluffy just might have. Or he was in a really bad mood. It was hard to tell, but he continued to bite and claw at the thing something fierce even as it smacked him again giving as good as he got, and then some on top.
Oh yea, he was taking out all that pent up aggression out on this time. Like a boss.

He managed to snap off a few more tentacle tips this time. But Fluffy was definately the carry for this fight. But then, he was tired from mauling two humans to death.
Fluffy hadn't done much mauling. He'd just run people over. Or well... nearly. A lot. He'd only hit Hannah a little too. So honestly, he had a lot of pent up energy left from all the fear.
And sadly for this thing, he was unleashing it on it. Fluffy was getting downright pissed about being hit a lot. REALLY ******** ANGRY. So off went another of the things arm as he snarled further at the thing intending to see it's end.
Don't hit the dog. The dog gets really angry.
Torvil
I kept telling people not to hit Fluffy... there was a reason.

And then the boss went down. And Fluffy kicked the rest of the corpse of the human in the water after it, and promptly flopped in the spot and glowered angrily at the human that was there. This was his waterfall now, and they couldn't have it.
Sadly for them. He was sitting RIGHT on top of the card. And despite generally being fairly good around humans was in no mood for them. He'd earned this spot and they'd have trouble getting to it.
Sadly, they could probably see what the card was under his paw, but getting it might be trouble with how he growled everytime someone came near.
At least the other items were up for grabs?
(( FLUFFY IS NOT LETTING ANYONE NEAR HIM! They are subject to attack. Any item BESIDES the key card can be taken without attack. Good luck convincing us to hand over the card. ))
