I figured i should put this on here for the simple fact being that, I hear about problems in combat situations that I am skeptical about wether or not they understood the basic rules.

Autohit - Autohit is for example, *Brings his sword crashing down towards his enemy, cutting them in half.* This is an autohit, Although you may be thinking "But i've been doing this on guards and such..." It's okay! Because those were NPCs (Non Player Characters) And were simply there to spice up the story. When fighting another RPer, however, You must be aware about the concept of autohitting...The correct way of issuing that attack was *Brings his sword crashing down towards the enemy to cut him in half*...Notice how all of a sudden, that person has a reaction time? Well that's what we want...At, To, Towards...The most important words ever.

Onwards to GODMODDING!

Godmodding - Godmodding is where you, for example, get blasted into atoms with nothing left remaining of you because you couldn't block an atom blastin awesomesauce ray, then turn round and say "Bro, I'm still alive, I'm invincible n s**t Bl" Well, Muthafugga, You just godmodded...Anything that results in some form of invincibility without facts backing it up is Godmodding. @_@ Which results in your post being invalid. If you autohit, that's also invalid, never happened, and any other adjectives you can find. Basically, anything you did or said post is nullified...Such as you talking to someone, We all have to pretend, then, that that person never heard you, because you made an invalid post. ¬ ¬;

Now Metagaming!

Metagaming - Metagaming! It's where you take OoC (Out of Character) Knowledge into your character! Here's an example! An RPer, Who's RPC is named Bill, posts, In a land far far away, like...HALF THE WORLD AWAY, posts that they are dying in the woods...Then your RPC, With no abilities to support this knowledge, no connection to their RPC whatsoever, and having never even met this other person's dying RPC, shouts "HOLY SHI- BILL'S DYING! IN THE WOODS! AT EXACTLY THESE CO-ORDINATES, QUICK, GET ON NYAN CAT! WE MUST SAVE HIM!!! Nyanyanyanyanyanyanyan-" Oh wait i'm going on an insane tangent...I do apologize @_@

Anyway, It would be like my RPC for this story, Shaze, Knowing that Neire is courting young ladies and dancing about thugs like a rabbit inside Anthro̱póti̱ta City...He's never been to the surface, and doesn't know the names of the towns, nor does he know Neire ....How then, could he suddenly burst out "Neire! He's in Anthro̱póti̱ta City!! I wonder if he can hear me...You're jumping around like a bloody fool, just punch him!" Of course, he wouldn't say that because it's not how he talks...Nor is it his style to give a damn...But you get my drift. ¬ ¬;
