 This Means Warrrrrr! (Play Battle) With the last day of school upon them and every little body hyped up on candy and excitement the desire by the teachers for something to drain that energy and tucker those children out was high priority. So why not let them run all that energy out in the form of a giant water balloon fight!?
The wide playground and athletic fields that stretched out beyond them would serve as their play area and large tubs of water balloons lay scattered throughout. But that wasn't all. A couple tubs also contained very soapy/sudsy water and thick layer of bubbles and one even seemed to be filled with... was that confetti? Their 'weapons' at their disposal the children were set free into their playful anarchy, every child for themselves. The only rules of the game? Play weapons only! Be mindful not to hurt the other competitors.It runs from Saturday May 25th through Jun 2nd at NOON PSTGame mechanics:1) The character you are playing in this game is basically a random child disposable, not any of your own personal characters. This means anyone and everyone can play, whether you have a character in the shop or not! You are free to give the character some personality and flavor but please do not refer to your character being a senshi already or knowing official player characters. If you happen to win a character in this rp you may, with staff approval, be allowed to use a similar personality and/or put the rp in that characters journal. 2) It doesn't really matter if your character gets hit, this is all for fun, continue on! 3) You will roll 1 20 sided dice with each post. * Roll an even number? Unfortunately you missed or the balloon didn't explode. NEW * Roll a 4 or 14? Your hands are getting so slick, you dropped the balloon, right on yourself! Sheesh. * Roll a 1? You found the confetti, ick it's everywhere! Instant hit to opponent. * Roll a 9 or 13? Ohhh bubbles! They're so so easy to throw and stick to everything. Instant hit to opponent. * Roll any other odd number? Sucess, your water balloon hit someone and soaked them. 4) You may roll the dice once an hour or once every five posts (whichever comes first). 5) With each dice roll in this game you must post a rp'd response along with it. This does not have to be super long but should explain what the character is doing (if they hit, miss, etc) 6) Please keep a tally of your hits and misses 7) The character that hits the most people will win! Where will the rest of the prizes go though? Who knows? (Aka. prizes can and may be distributed in a variety of ways. This includes creative rping!) Rules:1) Make sure you follow the dice rules listed above! 2) Random child disposables only, no existing characters. 3) Please keep in mind these children range from age 7 to 13 and should be written as such. 4) Please be polite and considerate of other players. Good sportsmanship all around. 5) DO NOT delete your posts. We can tell. If for some reason you mess up (roll the wrong dice, forget to roll, etc) simply write Void in the post and post again. 6) You may target NPC children as well, but we totally encourage you guys to target each other, it's all in fun! 7) If you win you will need to post an application in the proper forum to be approved before you can start rping them.

AHHH water balloon battle! This was the most awesome thing anyone could've done. Ralph stood there rubbing his hands together, before grabbing the biggest water balloon he could find. There was a grin on his face as he lobbed it towards the nearest unsuspecting child.
"Please hit, please hit, please hit," He whispered under his breath as he watched the balloon wobble though the air. He watched the bright red balloon as it landed on his intended target, right on the head! He gleed as the balloon popped, "Oh ... ooohh!" Haha it had confetti, that was the best ever!!! He paused and eyes widened as the kid he hit, saw him. "Uh-oh!" Meagan gleeful grabbed up a water balloon and stalked her opponents, keeping herself out of the line of sight as much as possible. When she got a clear shot, the sneaky little knightsider lobbed her balloon with the accuracy of a laser!
... but totally lacked any power, because it splatted on the ground only two feet away, missing her intended target.
Drat!

"For SPARTAAAAAAA!" Jason ran for the water balloons, glad that school was finally out. Now it was time for some fun. He scooped up two balloons and with a target selected let loose with the blue one. It splattered with a satisfying thunk right on the other boy's back. With a evil laugh, Jason ran off. He knew his friend Jake would pay him back for it, but that was the fun of a water balloon fight. No real harm was done but it was hilarious as all get out.

Derek was practically bouncing in place. He loved water balloon fights. The little boy turned the water balloon over in his hands several times as he picked his target. So far there were only a few kids, but come on. Who could resist the urge to throw one of these bad boys at some unsuspecting person?
No one. That's who.
Picking his target, he cackled gleefully to himself. ...Okay so he wasn't the sneakiest kid out here. Who cares. He was having fun darn it! Pulling his arm back, Derek threw the water balloon as hard as he could. A smile broke out on his face as he watched it sail to it's intended target. ...Only to have it bounce on the ground next to them before popping.
... What?
Derek sighed. While he absolutely loved balloon fights, that didn't mean he was very good at them.

The young boy bounced around, his balloon held carefully as he searched for his target. He spotted one of the other boys and tossed it towards them, watching as it pass by them. Oops. Guess that was a miss.
He grinned, and then dodged a balloon of his own, grabbing one of the unpopped ones off of the ground before jumping back into the fight.

Trev simply adored water balloon fights. Partly because his parents so rarely let him play with anything that might make a mess, partly because he was one of those weird kids who loved water in any form. As his crazy Aunt Lucy might say, water was his element. Grinning happily, the boy scooped up a balloon and lobbed it with all his strength at the first person in his path.
At the sight and sound of the balloon bursting upon impact, Trev let out a delighted chuckle and quickly ran to load up on more ammo.

Samantha was not exactly the most capable of sporty people. Usually, she was picked close to last for sport like events, because she was pretty bad and every one else know it. She couldn't help it: it just never came to her the way it did to the other kids.
Everything about her was dainty and small, and she would rather sit inside and have a tea party or a play date of some sort, dress up and use her mind to create a new little world to live in for a few hours, than throw balls at other kids or chase something down.
Plus, outside it was dirty.
So it came as no surprise as she picked up a balloon daintily, not wanting to get her hand covered in the weird film she was convinced all balloons had (why else would they feel and shine like that?) that her following throw went about a foot from her in a high arc and then fell helplessly to the ground, not even bursting.
It was like it had jumped out of her hand because it saw in her its chance to escape without being exploded. She stared at it as it sat on the ground, pouting.

Ralph was laughing as he had finally managed to lose the other kid in the crowd. Though he'd also gotten hit a few times with a balloon here or there. He ran his hand through his hair moving it out of his face. Okay now what? His eyes shifted before grabbing another balloon lobbing it at a near by girl.
When in water balloons fights it didn't matter what gender you were to Ralph.He watched as the balloon burst into sloppy sticky bubbles! Actually some of them slopped onto him too! He squeaked with glee as the girl started slipping in the bubbles, well until she actually slid into him! "ACK! Hey watch it! You're going to cause us both to f-f-fallllll" He yelped falling in the sudsy mess laughing.

Derek yelped loudly when a water balloon connected on the back of his head. Turning, he saw a little boy running off for another balloon.
Oh it was on.
Diving for his own, Derek scrambled after the boy and launched it. Only to have it go wizzing by the kid and burst against a tree.
Darn it.

Trev was vaguely aware of a balloon exploding close by. Glancing around quickly, he caught sight of another boy looking disappointed. Oh, so he wanted to have a fight, huh? Still laughing in utter delight, Trev lobbed yet another balloon, doing a little dance of sheer joy as this one connected perfectly, further soaking his (for the time being) Nemesis.
Grinning cockily, he stood, hands on hips and called out to the other kid.
"Well? Try again! Betcha I can hit you more than you hit me!"
After all, what was the point of a schoolyard rivalry if it wasn't fun?

Meagan squealed as yet another balloon missed its mark. Drat and Blast it! She would never fulfill her wish for world domination with attacks like this! Even scooching closer to her target had done no good.
Clapping her hands over her mouth to hold back her angry screeching, the youngster slunk back to the bucket to grab another balloon.

Samantha stared at the balloon and huffed, then bent to daintily pick it up. Everything she did was dainty. She picked it up by its tail, the balloon sagging as she did so, holding it in two fingers.
Now it had been on the floor. Ugh.
She tried to flick it, she supposed, toward the others. Maybe she could get lucky and an underhanded throw would make it go a lot farther than the last one had? Maybe she hadn't had the right momentum or whatever it was the sporty types would tell her she was doing wrong.
It flopped in the air a bit, its contents sloshing around inside, before dropping straight out of the air in an act of rebellion and plopping harmlessly once more to the ground. She stared at it this time, her expression set in stubborn anger.
Maybe she needed a new balloon.

School was finally over and the holidays officially here and normally Briar would probably have his nose stuck in a book somewhere, or one of the many other things he considered fun - like bottle top collecting or visiting the zoo and looking at all the neat animals.
A huge no-holds barred water fight was not on the list, but Briar had ended up being lured out after a bet with one of his friends who had access to his one true weakness - chocolate chip cookies - okay well a Mum who made really swell chocolate chip cookies.
All Briar had to do was pelt more people than Kevin and a whole container of cookies would be his - Kevin had promised and it had been a pinky promise and everyone knew that you didn't break those.
Hefting one of the ballons, Briar lobbed it at the nearest person but they were able to run out of the way in time.
Looked like he was going to have to really work if he wanted those cookies.

Derek grumbled to himself as he wiped the water from his face. This time the water balloon had connected full on and he was now sporting the drowned rat look. That balloon solidified the rivalry. Trev was going down. Even if Derek had to drag him down if he went down himself. "You've already hit me more then I've hit you." He pointed out before diving for another balloon.
He threw it again, only to watch the balloon fly by and miss Trev by inches. Derek stared for a minute before.. "Oh come on!" He whined, throwing his hands up in the air before propping them on his hip. "You missed!" Derek yelled at the balloon as it rolled to a stop behind Trev. "How could you miss! He was right there!" The balloon responded to his cries by popping.
