Well. I really like the 80's Hair styles and clothing. Many wil beg to differ, but the eighties were a decade that really changed the way we look at fashion.
'Hey, David Bowie called - he wants his makeup back!' - What my sister says whenever she sees me. xD

I love the Victorian Era and French Renaissance, mostly the Victorian Era in the late 1800s and early 1900s, where men wore beautiful clothing and had manners, and when ladies got some respect and weren't weird for wanting to have a tea party. ^-^

i can't really pick a favourite time period although all from about the seventies onwards, designers have been taking little things from past eras and incorporating it into something modern.

Toukai the japanese yukata and kimono's. Not sure what period of time but they are really cool. The Japanese kimono is just a timeless classic, they've been around since the very begining of Japanese history, just the style has changed slightly so now it's Yukatas for the summer made out of cotton, Furisode for unmarried women made of silk usually, tomesode for married women or older women, have shorter sleeves and are also made from silk, and I'm not sure if there is a name for a man's kimono. I have a site, here: http://www.japanesekimono.com/ They also have a page called Kimono History. .o. It's super informative. ^-^
