Generally carefree and happy, she's learning all about the world outside of the Lake so everything is brand new to her. Not very much upsets her and she's very accepting of who people are.

Siren's Voice: She can enchant any creature depending on the song she chooses to sing. Her singing is her 'magic' and certain songs can have different effects outside of the mind as well.

Height: approximatly 3 feet
Species: faery pae'il
Gender: female

Status: unhitched
Likes: Not very much these days. She's turned pretty pessimistic
Dislikes: getting in trouble
Eyes: silver
Hair: Teal with white shimmers and sparkles
Skin Tone: purple that fades to blue
Markings: Floral ornaments up and down each arm, a floral tribal across her chest. Fancy ornament on her hips and eyes and ankles. Fading white coloring tipped with a lacy pattern, making it look like she's wearring stockings.
Personality: Smart and easy going. She's became rather jaded on the whole 'pae experience' after getting in trouble for 'hurting' Rain. The Guardian's punishment was not merciful either, in her opinion, so she's rather upset with them as well.
Weakness: Doesn't know a lot about the surface world, nor does she speak very well. She's got a heavy accent and puts sentences together awkwardly, so she's hard to understand sometimes.

Long ago, before the Angels and Demons rules Telrunya, there were the Ancients. The Ancients existed in peace, keeping balance in all things.
One sect of the Ancients, led by Alu herself, was entrusted with the duties to protect the Water and all that it represented. Born of the Waters themselves, these Pae'il had a special form. They had come to be known as the Naiads. Half fish, and half Pae'il, they had created a thriving civilization at the bottom of Tuatha Ri Lake.
After the untimely death of their leader, the remaining supporters and loyalists created an organization to preserve her training and ideals, so that future generations could continue to be educated in the ways of Sui. (Sui is what the ancients called the element of water.)
The organization, Alu Spring, worked to keep the Naiad way of life in tact, as well as uphold Alu's teachings. Over the years, through many wars, the once great civilization fell, and their Capitol crumbled beneath the water's.
Naiads disappeared, but did not die out. The unborn remained protected for ages on Telrunya until one day, eight eggs washed ashore on Pae'Kippu Beach and the Naiads live once more.
Unnoticed by many, the ruins of Naiad Capitol has surfaced in the center of the lake, and will serve as the Meeting Hall once more for the resurrected organization, Alu's Spring.
About Alu:
Alu was a compassionate leader. She was very adaptable and encouraged everyone to continue in their personal growth and be accepting of change. She was an emotional girl, but that did not interfer with her duties.

Shell Necklace
Gift from the Guardians themselves when she received her body. It is said to summon her friends and family, no matter where she is when she blows on it. She's yet to actually test it to see if that is what it really does.

_____You were born with a talent to sing. We encourage you to develope that talent, as every note you sing, will have a mighty impact on those that hear it. Different melodies, different notes, different keys, different tones, all when properly combined into unique songs, will give you great power. Excercise caution, for singing the wrong song, wrong note, or wrong key could lead to disasterous effects. This is why we are encouraging you to practice and train yourself. It will be hard, but worth the effort.
_____Your ability will grow as you grow. Strengthen as you strengthen. While you may not have as much control over your voice as you would like, be diligent in your training and practice often. Nomia's ability is that her song, is her magic. She can sing a song to sooth a savage beast, a lullaby to help a sick baby fall asleep peacefully, or even a tune to help the tide. Her song, can do many, many things.
However, Nomia is still very young. A teenager actually, so she does not know the extent of her powers, nor how to control them. She is weak, compared to full potential.
Mastered Enchantments:
~ Hymn of the Fae : A universal faerie song that if sung by any faerie on Telrunya, automatically calms all those that hear it. This song can frequently be heard on nights of the full moon around the Fae Clearing in Loka Nei Forest, as the tiny faeries there come out to celebrate.
~
Known Enchantments:
~ Memory Rearanging : she tried this once on Rain. She doesn't even know the tune's name and she botched it big time, ultimately messing up Rain's memory beyond repair. What this tune is SUPPOSED to do is help the singer pick out certain memories to replace with different ones. Its a song the Guardian's forbid Nomia from ever using, as its not a goodly thing to do to any creature. Its mainly used to cover up secrets, or hide painful memories.

Nomia is the Protecting Spirit of Tuatha Ri Lake, in a Pae'il body.
Why is the spirit of Telrunya's largest body of water now in a Pae body you ask? Simple: The Guardians did it.
But to make a short story long:
There has been uneasiness in the air around the floating isle. A sense of something bad lurking on the horizon. The Guardians sense this. They also have noticed certain changes around the isle as well. The weird snow at Christmastime being the major sign.
There are 5 Protecting Spirits on the isle, making sure there is balance in all things. They work silently, harmoniously. They are very important to the survival of the isle.
The Guardians know there is trouble lurking, and this trouble seems to be targeting the isle itself, not the inhabitants, so in order to protect those that protect the Pae, The Guardians have granted each of the 5 a mortal body to 'hide' in. However, They have not informed the Spirits this is why they are getting Pae bodies. They don't want to alarm them. The Spirits will be coming to the isle as they are needed, and soon, all five will be living the mortal experience in a Pae body. Giving them the chance to experience life, as they never had before.
Aura Nin Mountain: (earth) - A strong, noble spirit, embodied in Daeron [played by Antidia]
Tuatha Ri Lake: (water) - An elegant, compassionate spirit embodied in Nomia [played by Antidia]
Loka Nei Forest: (void/magic) - A brave, intelligent spirit embodied in Nienna [played by Krista_DarkAngel_Silme]
To'ul Mountain: (wind) - A protective and loving spirit embodied in Kethara [played by Krista_DarkAngel_Silme]
Dragnid Forest: (fire) - An unbalanced and misunderstood soul embodied in Locien [played by Torvil]
Months after Nomia's arrival on the island, natural occurances that the Guardian's themselves could not predict have begun to rock the very foundation that the Guardians built modern Pae'il society upon. With the Lake Guardian absent from her post, the ancient race she was entrusted to keep safe has surfaced, allowing Naiads a chance to swim the water ways of Telrunya once more.
Nomia has been reunited with three of her siblings, and the 4 reborn spirits wait eagerly for the arrival of the 5th; The Protector of the feared Dragnid Forest.
PLEASE NOTE: These Five Fae Pae are borderline NPC characters. They will be pulled into plot often, and what they do is important. However, they do have individual players breathing life into them, so they will also be casually interacting with the rest of the Pae'il on Telrunya. They will live their own lives, fall in love, have their own families even. But in the end, they will come together again as the Protecting Spirits of Telrunya. ((mwahahah ... you'll have to stay tuned to the plot to find out how that happens))
