Welcome, to the army where a M.A.S.K. is all that tells your story. M.A.S.K. is a group lead by one man who sets out to see things in the right so no one would be treated as he was, which first he starting with the enemy of everyone...the Death Gods or Shinigami. M.A.S.K. is a hidden organization that has been building over the time, and during the different chain of event they have been witnessing all the different evolution's the seireitei has come across.
M.A.S.K. stands for "Militia Annihilation Shinigami Killers". This army fears no threat, and always remains tactical to how they move and where they move. This army is continuing growing in a face but yet steady pace which can be a major threat in the near future.
-Base of Operation-
The M.A.S.K. army location has yet to be revealed, but it is noted that strange spiritual energy appears in Tokyo and Karakura, along with Naruki City. These three areas have become look out for the shinigami to keep watch of any strange spiritual signatures. This will be revealed later on in the story as to actually where the base of operation is.
The base is built in a hidden mountain, which is surrounded by a barrier. Base
-The Ranks-
The Mask army was gathered over many many years, which you could say over a thousand years they have been growing. Which means the ranks have also been becoming strong, and even become a force of its own. The group consist of 5 vizards and the rest are arrancars, and shinigami whom all hold grudges against the seireitei. The Vizards were the first to join, which they make up the Army founders, because they were in it first.
This later was succeeded by the shinigami, which Zetsubo had acquired and picked out himself and gathered over time. He even gathered people from the rukon district to join his army, and erased or killed those whom have denied. This lead to a lot of people missing, but he would erase the memory of the reporters as well so they would remember what to report.How was this possible, Zetsubo would go in disguise and make himself seem like everyone.
The M.A.S.K. army ranks goes in this order: Agents, Raiders, and Soldier. These ranks comes from greatest to least, making it off with 12 Agents, 5. Vizards, 3. Shinigami, 4. Arrancars, which make up the Espada 1 to 4. The Raiders are all shinigami, whom powers are the of elite lieutenants and newer captain level. These are also followed the rest of the espadas. The soldiers have more shinigami then arrancars, though at one pint Zetsu actually had a few quincies in his army whom had sacrificed themselves killing shinigami whom figured out what they were doing, and since that day the army grudge grew stronger.
