Suburbia is divided into two separate sections, one consisting of Middle Pretties, who have had their second operation, and are starting their jobs, perhaps raising littlies, and the other consisting of Crumblies, who are like the elderly, except they have had an operation to make them look kind, caring, trustworthy, and wise.
