It had been an average patrol night for Leucite, and he was bored as all get out. Completely void of any members of order to kick in the teeth. Sighing, he figured he'd content himself with some energy gathering... Maybe pull a starseed if he could find the right target.
It took him about a half hour of combing the streets to find a decent target. Dropping down from the roofs and into the alley nearby, he tucked against the wall and waited for the lone woman to walk by the entrance. She looked frightened and nervous - her clothes were far too good for the neighborhood. She must have been lost.
Well she had chosen the wrong day to get lost. Leucite slid out of the shadows behind her, grabbed her by the hair and drug her back into the shadows. She fought and screamed at first, but a quick tug on the hair and a gruff "Shut up, or I will kill you," turned her screams into whimpering sobs.
Tossing the woman against the wall he placed his hand on her chest and started to gather energy, his whole attention focused on the task. If she fussed any more he thought, he might just pull her starseed for spite.

"Goodness, goodness... Oh, where to start?" Sutai huffed, the sheer ridiculous fluffiness of her upgraded outfit bouncing with the movement in an exaggerated fashion. Hands clenched at her sides, the squire made a face, indecisive. "When I'm by myself, it's harder to figure out where to go but... I have to make my princess proud! We have to patrol by ourselves sometimes and..." And then a scream cut through Sutai's inner-outer monologue and she jumped, startled. She nearly fell flat on her rear but caught herself at the last moment, looking like a drunken ballerina. "Oh no! There's trouble and... and... I have to go stop it!" Mustering up her courage (she had upgraded! She must be stronger now, right? Tsui must be made proud too!), the squire perked up her chin and bounced off in the direction of the shriek. It sounded like a young lady, maybe accosted by thieves?! Sutai would be very upset if there were thieves and she'd have to put an end to it by... doing... something... She never got that far before and now her telescope was gone. She couldn't bonk anyone with a sextant! A few quick scans led the squire to the source - a Negaverse officer! Someone like Natron, who turned out to be less awful than she'd imagined. Maybe this one would be okay too? Perching on a car just across the street from the source of the energy, Sutai tried her hardest to look somewhat intimidating, hand on one hip, poofy ballerina skirt outstretched. In the end, she looked like a displeased older sister. Hardly terrifying. "Stop right there, whoever you are! I won't allow you to hurt people!"

Well, her shouting sure did what she'd intended it to do. He lost his focus and all that lovely energy he'd gathered was gone. Closing his eyes, he debated on just reaching into the woman's chest and taking her starseed for spite... But he thought better of it. He'd be too open to attack, he was already at a disadvantage of not paying enough attention and letting this... Overly puffed up ballerina... Get the drop on him. Turning on his heel, he let the woman go, and with a sigh, pulled his flag from out of the back of his uniform. Crossing his arms in front of him, glaring angrily at Sutai, he growled. "You have exactly one second to get out of here before I make you eat that ridiculous outfit you a wearing, drain all of your energy, and then take your starseed."He counted to one - in his head of course - and then charged, the tip of his flag whipping out toward the page's face. He hoped he put an eye out.

Sutai wibbled for a moment, lifting up a delicate finger in protest. "But... one second is hardly..." And then he charged.  "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!"And she was off, stumbling over bling and lace and tulle, petticoat and utter disaster. Sutai scrambled off her position of inadvertent superiority and ended up in a sputtering pile on the pavement. "This isn't right!" she protested, wiggling to her heeled feet to run away from him and around the car. She spotted the flag, the very American Star-Spangled Banner being waved around like a javelin. "You're a patriot! I'm American! Don't you love your country!?" she shouted back over her shoulder. Her sextant seemed overtly useless at that juncture. She didn't have lasers like Camelot. Perhaps she could appeal to his patriotic sensibilities. "What about the home of the free and land of the brave?!" Soon they'd be locked in combat, she was sure of it, for Sutai could only run around the car as fast as she could so many times. "The Negaverse doesn't love this country so... surely you understand you're on the wrong side, Mr. Patriot!"

If Leucite had been grumpy before, he was livid now. His eyes flashed hate so hard that if they had been lasers Sutai would have been a pile of ash on the ground. As she fell and sputtered about on the pavement, only to get up to run around a car, he gave chase. He swung his flag again and again, aiming the ball of it toward her temple in the hopes of making her regret opening her stupid little mouth. "We are this country," Leucite hissed at her as he swung the flag. "Your kind aren't even from this world - you came here to take it from us. I am a defender of not only this great nation - but of this world." His voice dripped with venom and hate. He was definitely drinking the kool-aid. He also mistook her for a senshi - having never met a knight before. "What do you know of freedom!" He roared adding a kick at the girl for good measure if his first attack hit home. Seems someone had paid a little too much attention during hate the White Moon 101.

Sutai was unceremoniously rapped across the knuckles by a rather stiff flag - she couldn't dodge in time and tears stung her eyes. "Ooooowwwwwww!" she whined, holding the throbbing appendage to her chest. His next hurled statement made Sutai more confused than anything else - your kind aren't even from this world. Golden eyes blinked at him and the squire skittered backwards for a moment. "But... we are from this world! I don't understand!" And then Leucite closed the distance too fast for Sutai, a boot lodged swiftly into her midsection. With a cry, she landed on her knees, huge skirt billowing with the motion. The Indian girl wrapped her arms around herself and sputtered, tears streaming down her face now. "..you... you... you're so mean!" Another set of sobs and sniffs. Tsui would be so disappointed. Polaris would be so disappointed! Surely Sutai could do better than that, couldn't she? She tried desperately to gather herself, to gather courage, and shakily stood. "I... I'm Sutai!" Sniff. "...Squire of Polaris! And... and the senshi aren't bad! My princess, she'd never hurt anyone! She wants to free the world of youma and bad things so everyone can live in peace!" Surely he understood, right?

Leucite set aside the fact that the senshi had flunkies and he'd failed to learn that information and focused on the fact that said flunkies were even worse at being sniffy and whiny than the senshi were. He had to give her props for attempting to stand though. But that would soon be rectified. He didn't say a word, he threw three hard punches - a quick jab toward her face, followed up by a cross to her chest and ending with a solid uppercut toward her midsection again. He followed up his three punch combo with an axe kick, hoping the catch the top of her head with his heel. He was going to make her pay for that energy he lost in blood.

This wasn't supposed to be happening!!!Sutai could do nothing but stand there as she was soundly beaten to the ground. Despite her increase in power, she felt more helpless than ever. What would Tsui say if she knew? What about her princess, Polaris? Was Sutai a failure because she couldn't stand up for herself? Was she a coward for thinking the first course of action must be to shriek and run away? These thoughts roiled through her head as the squire slumped over, some blood from her face and hands staining her lovely dress. Tears streamed down her face like a steady waterfall. The squire desperately tried to channel a stronger entity like Tsui. The senshi of tigers always knew what to do in a fight! What would she do if she were in this situation? Stand and fight!The problem was, Sutai was decidedly not very good at that. But she had to do something! What was it Camelot said? You gain magic once you get through your training phase. Concentration is key! Something like that. Sutai was now past her "training" phase but still had no idea what her magic did, if anything, nor how to use it. Right now was kind of an emergency and, summoning up whatever courage she had deep inside her heart, Sutai, stood up on shaky legs and pointed her sextant at the Lieutenant. "Please work please work please work... with lasers...!" she muttered to herself, heart pounding against her ribcage. Soon, with more concentration, a beam of soft, thin blue light shot forth from the lens of the sextant and painlessly impacted Leucite's chest. Quote: Sutai points her sextant at a target and a four foot radius around them becomes magnetically attuned to their starseed (magically). The target and anyone extremely close to them are slowed down as if they were extremely cold (if Chaos) or sped up to .5 times their normal speed (if Order). 40 seconds total magic pool. If another person is within 4' of the original target, the magic affects them as well, but only if they remain within the radius.

Leucite was almost manic with glee as he pushed his advantage. Sutai wasn't a threat to him - he'd proven that much already - she was crying, bleeding and flailing about like a child who didn't know what on earth she was doing. He should be blessed that all his enemies were this weak - but it saddened him that he hadn't had a solid challenge at all yet. When she pointed the sextant at him, he blinked, skidding to a stop as the soft blue light shot out of the device and smacked him square in the chest. He blinked - it hadn't hurt. He moved to continue his advance. Wait... This wasn't right... Why was he not moving at all fast enough. He felt like he was wading through molasses - in the middle of January - during a blizzard. Growling he attempted to make haste toward his target. But the best he could do was inch along... Slowly closing the distance. Lucifer Force Sloooooowwwww-moooooooooo

Sutai had to keep her concentration up to maintain the magic. For a moment, all she could really focus on was Leucite himself, not what he was doing or what happened to him. Camelot's words repeated over and over in her head about concentration but when Sutai stopped to think about it... was this magic really going to get her anywhere? Sure, she slowed him down and considerably but the moment she breaks the magic, Leucite will speed up again. Rock and a hard place. "What am I gonna doooo..." she whined to herself, the magic flickering in and out of effectiveness with her concentration fluttering as it was. Sutai finally realized this wasn't going to do her any good at all when she was alone. Sure, it would be extremely useful if someone else was here to bash Leucite around, he being too slow to retaliate. But alone? Sutai was a sitting duck - she was only prolonging the inevitable. Best thing to do would be to cut her losses. Breaking the magic, Sutai took up her sextant and turned to make a very hasty retreat. This guy was much too mean and much too strong for her to handle by herself!

Leucite gave chase after the Squire, he wasn't sure if her magic still had some sort of hold on him or not, but he couldn't catch up with her no matter how hard he pumped his arms, kicked his legs and sprinted after her. Leucite was no slouch physically - running should not have been a problem, and with his enhanced prowess, he should have - had she been a page or a senshi, at least been able to keep up with her. But no, with her head start and his inability to keep up, she was gaining ground faster than he could try and catch up. This only served to sear her into his memory as someone he desperately owed death and dismemberment to.
