Kilian watched as his Drakein let loose an attack he had never seen before. Shock coursed through him at the display of power. A tingling ran through his body as the spell dissipated. However, the electrical attack didn’t do much damage to the Ayrala. It was almost as if the dragon was immune to such an attack. Did it have to do with the elements?

The dragon raised it’s paw high into the air, giving Amadia one last glance before swinging it down and towards the now winded Drakein. “Amadia! Look out!” Kilian yelled as he took off running towards his friend. He wasn’t fast enough, though. Amadia took the brunt of the attack. The strong dragon sending her flying into the air. “s**t.” KIlian cursed as he made to break Amadia’s fall some.

The drakein crashed into Kilian, sending them both to the ground. Kilian landed with a grunt, as Amadia’s body went limp. The poor drakein had been put through hell today. Kilian looked up, readying himself for another blow from the dragon but was surprised to see it’s back was turned towards them.

Kilian laid Amadia gently to the ground and forced himself to get to his feet. Curious as to what could have distracted the dragon, Kilan inched towards the large beast, careful to keep his distance and his footfalls quite. His eyes widened as he saw two small Ayrala dragons running towards the larger one. A mother? Kilian whispered in his mind. Amadia was slowly waking up and heard the question in Kilian’s mind.

If so, we should leave while she’s distracted. Amadia said as she whimpered while trying to get up. Her right front leg hurt but she pushed through the pain, tyring to hide it from Kilian. He turned his attention back to his companion. “I’m sorry I got you into this Amadia.” Don’t be silly. Was her only reply. They quickly hurried away from the busy mother and back to the camp they had set up in hopes of collecting some dragon orbs. Now, however, Kilian wasn’t sure he wanted or could even stay here.
