Bio: Light was born into a fairly middle class family. He lead an un-ordinary life of having a stay at home mom and a dad that was never really around. In fact his father would be gone for months at a time, only returning for a few days in between trips. His mother was an average human. She lived with Light far outside the realm of Death City in a small town to the south of Whales, near the English Channel, where it was unlikely that they would ever find or hear of Kishin activity or of the academy. However his father was quite the opposite. He was gone on his extended trips because he was deeply involved in the special task force of the DWMA. His father was a talented Meister by current standards. He was not famous for his skills as he choose to use Stealth and Shadow as his partners, two unique Kama scythes that allowed him to move through the world unseen.

So it was a surprise to both his mother and the small town Light lived in that he soon presented supernatural talent that stretched beyond normal human means. He had a unique knack for self awareness and perception of others, sometimes speaking to them before they entered the room, as well as an increased speed and agility that easily outclassed all of his peers. It was at his school where he was scouted by a member of the DWMA on a routine mission.

A weak Kishin had infiltrated the school through the guise of a young student. Noticing the abnormal soul that Light possessed the Kishin aimed to kill the young boy and eat his soul. However fate would play differently for Light for as he was confronted by the Kishin monster. The demon attacked Light intent on claiming the boys soul, but in defense Light obliterated the Kishin entirely using an anti-soul injection by a complete fluke. The scout, once at the scene of the attack, noticed Light and his powerful soul and recommended he move to the DWMA to avoid more Kishin being attracted to the small town because of him.

Abilities: (Up to 8 )
+ Soul Perception - An extra sense which allows to search for wavelengths and identify them. Mainly of use for localising people and gauging their potential strength and intentions.

+ Soul Injection / Soul Menace - A small amount of energy obviously energizes the target but an overdose can be used to cause damage, bypassing external protection. This type of offensive wavelength has been modified by Light's own potential into a special subclass of his own.
Subclass: Anti-Soul Injection - This modified Soul Injection allows Light to create an inverted Soul Wave that flows reverse than the norm. Because of this it releases a high intensity burst of energy right at the point of impact and if a foreign Soul Wavelength is injected at or towards Light it will reflect the attack and send it back at the caster with equal force. This ability is only channeled through his palms and must be aimed at the attacker to be effective.

+ Soul Resonance - A special technique used by Meisters and Weapons, in which, they synchronize their Souls wavelength. By doing so, they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle.
Subclass: Mythic Blade - A unique ability that can only be used when in soul resonance with Mythic. This ability turns Mythic's blade a burning blood red while in blade form, and causes a tempest like wind stream to spin around the blade emanating from the handle. When released it shoots out a black wave of energy with a white lining that blooms like a flower and contains a small inverted hole in the middle. This attack can be used offensively but is most effective when launched against an opponents attack, as it will absorb the opposing force through the small hole in the middle of the bloom and then collapse in on the center. The two attacks will then fuse and if not overwhelmed will shoot back at the enemy with a new combined force.

+ Soul Ripple (un-mastered): A trait possessed by a person with a strong soul and sound mind. Though Light is not physically powerful he has done well to train his psyche in most ways. In the fruits of his training he has adorned the unique ability to exert his soul to not only other people, but the world around him. Like a ripple in a pond Light is able to press a large amount of soul force anywhere he has moved in a 25m radius around him, with a max of two at any given time. During a five second time period he can pull his body back along his movement path to where he last exerted his soul, seeming to move faster than light to where he had last been. This ability is still a work in progress and sometimes backfires, launching him in a different direction entirely.

+Anti-Demon Wavelength: This wavelength is a counter wavelength to Madness. A person who has this wavelength is intensely resistant to Madness, and has the ability to purify and transfer such resistance to other people's souls. It is among the most dangerous threat to any being who follows the path of the Kishin, as a strong enough version of this wavelength can have the ability to totally eradicate Madness.

Personality: Light has a very calm and friendly personality. He is quiet in nature and doesn't go out of his way to get noticed. Even with this soft personality he is not timid by any means. Light will give anything a try and will always put his best into everything he does. He believes that actions speak louder than words and he tries to prove it every day. He likes weapons that are opposite to his nature. He like rash natured weapons that are bold and speak their mind, though he does not like ones that are loud and obnoxious.

Soul Resonance with Hope


Augment Weapon - An ability in which Light can augment Hope to load certain types of ammo by focusing his wavelength through her.

Subclass - Anti-demon rounds: Ammo shells that contain a strong anti-demon wavelength that can much easily pierce demon or kishin skin as well as harm witches. The rounds glow bright white and even emanate a strong glow as they are loaded inside of the clip, giving hope a slight angelic glow when in her gun form.

Subclass - Null rounds: Round that utilize his anti-soul menace wavelength. These shells contain a strong anti-wavelength that will implode when they connect with a magical or spiritual source of energy emitted from another person, swallowing both the energy and itself in an instant, rendering it null. This ammo is used to stop attacks sent at Light.

Payload - An attack that temporarily changes the way Hope looks. Instead of a magnum style pistol Hope goes through a metamorphosis and turns into a huge four foot long ballistics rocket style container that sets heavily on Light's shoulder. The front of the container opens like double doors to reveal a 16 slot compartment inside, each one of the slots a wavelength generator that produces a missile style round that Light can launch at the enemy in a rapid fashion. Each missile launched by the Payload looks like a purple orb while inside the container and then elongates when ejected, creating a smoke trail as the energy literally rips apart as it flies towards the target at high speeds, exploding with the force of a mortar round once it hits a target.
