[this is a JRP between KasaiLoki's Radha and Buffy_the_Bloody's Rashida and Dene]

Radha had left. It was her time to go, and she just went. She felt bad for leaving her brother in the shadows, her parents behind as well, but she had to do what she had to do. The night sky pelted lioness used the night as her time to escape, traveling through the sands, letting the wind erase her tracks. She would have told her family where she was going, but she didn’t know herself.

It had been many a moon since she had seen the one lion that called himself Dene. He spoke of his pride, and clues to find him. She wondered partially if the male had found his way back. Regardless, she trekked the land, following landscapes that whispered in her mind. Her pride was dying; she didn’t want to be a part of it.

And so she trekked on. Days turned to nights, which turned to days, then into storms. Radha had grown from into a more solid figure from the lanky adolescence she had been stuck in. She appeared more rugged too, the life of a rogue doing that to a figure.

Her journey ended at a great mountain. He spoke of one, did he not? The trouble was, there were so many mountains in the area, and all were great compared to the dunes she was use to. Radha plopped to the ground. What if she ended in the wrong place? Well, at least she could say it was a great adventure.

Rashida's life was falling back into place. She wasn't an old lioness by any means.. But she definitely was not the youth she had been when she had arrived to the Ela lands. Two large litters later, she was still the pretty, poised, graceful creature she had always been. Life wasn't good though, because she looked good. No, life was good because her son had returned to her. Dene was home, and she was thrilled. Though her heart stiached for Samm.. She hoped that he was okay, and would one day return to her as well. Life wouldn't be complete, until both her boys were safe and sound..

She had decided to take a walk, enjoying the fresh air that came with the day. She had been meeting newcomers quite a bit recently. The joining ceremonies having been a great joyous occasion. So it was no surprise to see a strange lioness sitting and staring at the mountains around her. Rashida recognized her look as one she had when she first took in the sight.

"Hello!" She called.

The lioness tilted her head, hearing someone approaching. She was visibly relaxed. She had not encountered any kind of hostility in her travels, so why would it start now. Her eyes shifted to the approaching lioness, a warm, yet tired smile appearing on her maw.

“Hello there,” she was quiet. Her trinkets still lingered on her body, though they were dusty from travel, and held a few more scratches that had not been there since she began her quest.

“Can you tell me where we are? I’m looking for somewhere…but I feel as if I have come to a dead end.” She was tired, the many weeks of traveling evident in her worn voice. She hoped it she didn’t have too much further to go.

Rashida noted the tired look on her face. She had traveled far, and the mother in Rashida wanted to coddle her and make sure she was rested and fed. But she supposed she couldn't mother everyone..Even if it was her nature. The lioness was beautiful, colored like the stars in the sky. Like a little piece of heaven that had dropped onto the earth. She had never seen someone with such a pelt.

"Why, you are in the Ela'Wadiyi lands, my dear. Welcome." She said, with a bow of her head as she smiled approvingly. The Ela's were a fairly docile, kind group of lions..For the most part. They lived peacefully, and simply, and Rashida liked it that way.

"I am Rashida Ansoomse'." She said, bowing her head in greeting.

Ela’wadiyi? That…that was it! The once tired look that appeared on Radha’s features was instantly removed. She had made it. The almost ambiguous clues that Dene had told her had worked! (and the luck of passer-bys knowing the particular direction of the almost secluded pride). She could jump for joy, but she didn’t.

“This is really it?” She whispered. A strange flutter entered her heart, one like she felt when she was at home in the sands.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Rashida Ansoomse.” The lioness returned a bob of the head. “I am Radha,” her pride did not have a last name. “A lion told me of this pride when I was younger. He explained it as a great pride. My own is on it’s deathbed…I feel it won’t last long if it hasn’t already perished.” Others had upped and left the pride like she had, the drought caused it.

The features on the other lioness eased, and Rashida smiled. So she had been looking for the Ela lands? Why she was more like herself than she had even understood. She chuckled, nodding a bit as she answered.
"This is really it. No dead ends for you, as it should be." She chuckled.

Rashida's brows knit together as she listened to Radha's words. Very few knew of the pride, unless they had once been there themselves. What were the odds? It crossed her mind that it might have been Dene or Samm she had met.. Though it was entirely possible that Rashida was just looking for similarities when there were none.

"What a pity.. That is such a shame.. At least you are here, where we will welcome you with open paws." She smiled softly.

Radha was excited. She couldn’t believe she actually made it. But a part of her wondered if the friend she made that one night had travelled safely. It had been a long time ago since they had talked.

She nodded slightly, mouth opening to say something but closed within an instant. She thought about it for a moment before continuing her prior thought.

“Has…a lion arrived here? He said he once was a part of this pride..and had been lost from it. He was a dark lion…with…” she paused, about to say more differential markings. “Well…he called himself…Dene?” Why use descriptions when you had a name.

When she asked if a lion had arrived, her first reaction was to ask her to be more specific. A great many lions had traveled through here within the last few days especially. But then she did get more specific, and Rashida's eyes widened only slightly. Her Dene had made a friend? And such a pretty one as that? The idea of grandcubs sprouted in Rashida's mind, before she smiled and nodded.

"A great male he is, indeed." She said, and after a moment, "He is my son." She said proudly. She had always been proud of her children. All of them. Even Gogv who had her temper, made her proud. She loved her babies, and she always would.

"I'm pleased to see he met such sweet creatures as you on his travels." She said softly. She hadn't wanted to ask him how he had recieved all the scars that had befallen his body.. But she knew that not all the others her met had been as kind.

“Really?” The lioness held the same pelt color as Dene, and the tribal tattoos. Although, she thought she remembered Dene speaking something about them once. She couldn’t use that as a distinguishing marker.

“So…he made it back safely then?” She questioned his now known mother. “I’d love to meet up with him again. Like I said, it’s has certainly been quite a while since we met…” her voice drifted a bit, but a smile was on her maw. She gazed back at Rashida.

Even though she hadn’t been in the lands for more than a couple minutes, she didn’t want to leave. Especially knowing her friend was back. “How…how would I go about staying here?” Would that be even possible? She wondered.

"Thank the Heavens he made it safely home.. Actually he was part of the recent joinings. How great that you managed to find him!" She said with a genuine smile. If there was one thing about Rashida, it was that she was kind.. and patient. She was a sweet, loving girl, who had never outgrown her penchant for romance.

"Of course it's possible! We shall have you meet with Skan Kanati at once. He will be able to sort you into a clan. Though I think you'd be a great addition to the Sky clan if I say so myself." She chuckled, smiling from ear to ear.

"First things first, I should take you to Dene, huh?" She said, winking.

The sky clan? Radha looked at her pelt, then back at Rashida. “I do think I would fit in well with a sky clan, no?” She couldn’t help but giggle. Her pelt practically screamed the night sky, with the little swirl markings and some leoparding spots.

“That would be…amazing?” She’d love to see her friend again. She could surprise him, and tell him just how great of a clue giver her was for the pride.

Rashida giggled at the joke too. She hadn't thought of it that way, th ough now she probably wouldn't be able to not see it that way. She smiled, and nodded. "Yes, I think you would do very well in the sky clan. You look as if you were a piece of it, that fell from the stars one night." She put her paw on the other's shoulder, and motioned her to follow with her head.

"Come on. I'll take you to him. I think he will be happy to see you. He's been rather dismayed since his brother dissappeared. He needs some cheering." She said, and smiled again.

Yes, maybe this was exactly what Dene needed.

Radha’s light eyes fell on the paw on her shoulder, before nodding, and following the female. “Thank you,” she said after a moment, walking almost step in step with the female, if not just a tad behind her as she led the way.

“When I last saw him, he wasn’t with his brother…I guess he never found him again. I’m sure one day he will. Fate is a funny thing,” it was true. Look where fate had brought her!

“I hope he is happy to see me,” she knew she was happy to see him again.
