Quinlan nearly choked on the water he had in his mouth when he heard someone yell beside him out of no where. Coughing, he pulled his head up from the water, snorting and shaking his head before finally turning to look at the female. He was surprised that someone had been watching him- how could he have not heard her coming? Normally his senses were very keen, and he was extremely good about seeing things and knowing what was going on around him. This time, however, he had been completely blindsided by the appearance of the female. Was it just because he had been so caught up in drinking, or was it because he had been feeling too smug about his magic trick and had gotten lost in the moment? Either way, there was a female standing near him and he was now being very rude just staring at her like some kind of confused dunderhead.
"I'm sorry!" He laughed, "I don't mean to stare, I'm just surprised! You came out of no where." She had demanded to know about the trick he had just done, so it was easy for him to raise his paw and flick the rock back out from between his pads, where it had been well hidden. "You mean this trick?" He asked, "it's nothing but a simple illusion. I rather enjoy creating magic tricks like this. Do you like it?" He watched her with a smile. He didn't mind telling her his secrets- it was better than keeping them all to himself!
He wanted to send magic all over the place.
"Oh! My rude nature seems to continue- my name is Quinlan!" He offered her a now of his head, grinning from ear to ear. "what's your name?"
