εccεптяıκƨ cıяcυƨ Tall, wide pointy tents of bright, exuberant colors – Nirvani Island's own personal circus is a sight to see! Although, it's only really opened during the Summer, making this a nice hot spot for students! Or so they'd like to believe.. Through the front gate, one can see a series of paths and crudely written signs directing any visitors to the various attractions they have – to the right, one can find a variety of cages as the main featured animals sit lazily on display – animals like the amazing Three and a Half foot rat! Or the Extraordinarily Large albino bull! Even the astoundingly REAL donkey unicorn and pink elephants can be found for rides and photos at a minimal price! A little further is a range of the truly bizarre sideshows, such as the mermaid, the man eating chicken, and the 'torture' chamber. In the back of the circus, behind the large tent, there stands a concession stand of various knick-knacks, some cheaply made food, and tickets to allow guests to play the games just to the left of the eating area. And games do they have! Whack-A-Rabbit, the Ladder Climb, Ring-Toss, Goldfish Scooping, and more! All for completely long-lasting toys that may or may not be stuffed with Styrofoam!
Inside the main tent – well, we aren't allowed to tell you what's in there. Acrobats, knife throwers, trapeze walkers, and perhaps a variety of exotic animals to see? Who knows! All we do know is that it must be some show for it to still be going for ten plus years! Outside of the fence, behind all the attractions and fun, there sits a series of trailers and cages for all the animals and workers to live when the circus isn't running – it isn't like anyone really makes enough to rent from the inn or own their own home, after all – all of these silly sideshows cost a pretty penny! It's a wonder they've survived until now!

Tshila was currently upside down, lycra fabric wrapped around both outstretched legs, suspended over a large practice net. She had been practicing a new routine but had sort of gotten distracted, and was now about four feet over the net, counting holes in the mesh. Silks weren't really her favorite type of routine but still kind of fun and sensuous. At any rate, it added some diversity to the show so she didn't mind doing more than one type of performance but still...it was kind of easy to get distracted during those moments of just hanging there for dramatic impact--hence her current state. Though if she let any more blood flow to her brain, her head was going to explode. So Tshila slowly pulled herself up, wrapping the lycra around her arms for leverage to pull herself to a proper upright position before letting go so she could drop into the net below. She laid there for a moment, staring up at the pitched roof of the tent before dragging herself over to the edge of the net so she could drop to the floor below. She needed a break--and something to drink. Time to go find water! [exits to elsewhere] ((Just decided to exit her out since no one is sending anyone to her...))

Two days, sixteen hours, and forty-three minutes. That's how long it took a certain young lady to reach her destination thanks to plenty of lay overs and delays along her trip. It left the girl weary and nearly defeated. In her head the trip involving planes and boats equated to those scenes in movies which you saw heroes travel dangerous terrains to meet masters that would make them stronger. This was her journey. A path to reaching her dreams. One that was filled with back-breaking cushioned seats and hazardous professionally cooked meals. Not to mention the terrifying view of the glistening ocean and coastlines. It was truly a hellish trip. That's just how Alette Stonebrak saw her world. Her's was a story of your classic, young, ordinary girl who was given a chance to be something great. She would go through obstacles that would push her to the edge, but come out stronger than ever. She was a soon to be hero. That is why all those two and a half grueling days of sitting and sleeping could not deter the bright eyed girl. Even if it tested her limits, she persevered, and now she was excited to meet her new mentor. The island itself proved to be quite the challenge as well though. Alette had gotten lost quite a few times in search of the big, wide circus tent. She had spent a good two or three hours dragging her luggage around Nirvani, asking NPC residents here and there for the place. However, every time they told her where to go, her mind got so filled with the idea of her training that she would completely blank the second she would walk away from the conversation. However, the girl eventually found herself in eyesight of the circus. Alette took a deep breath in and then exhaled it slowly, mentally preparing herself for what was in front of her. She reached for her two, very large, bags and swept them up with all the might she could muster (Which wasn't much). She began to make her march onto the den of heroes, a large smile on her face and her cheeks red with excitement (severe pain from the bags). Alette's thoughts of her dad's stories about Super Kuiper and the tales of being a hero filled her head. It sounded so amazing. Amazing enough for a young girl to travel across the world, enduring the harsh travels, just to meet with a stranger to become one. And, her chance had come. Alette reached the entrance to the circus, and sighed in relief that it was still early when she arrived. It would have been troublesome if she had arrived at night and no one was there to welcome her. She entered the tent, eyes shining with childish wonderment. The bags fell from her hands as she scanned the large, enclosed area for the man named Finnian. She cupped her hands around her mouth and called out to anyone who was there, "Excuse me!"

Oho, but it was not just anyone who was there to greet the young girl! No, it was none other than SUPER KUIPER himself! The man had just been practicing his aerial tricks within the big tent, when he heard a shout from down below! It was a particularly bad timing for the man as he had been concentrating on the trapeze wire and a sudden shout in a once quiet tent was enough to startle anyone!
Thankfully, years of experience and a good amount of SUUUUPER balance had him remaining safely on the wire until he managed to cross to the other platform. He did have to pause to stare down through the net at whoever had come into the tent. A young girl, of course, but which one? Who? It wasn't any of the new kids nor was it Popcorn, back from wherever she had been stolen away from, but.. a green-haired youth? Ah! Ah, he was practically giddy as he realized that this was probably a fan here for an autograph!
He smiled his most dashing as he grabbed one of the trapeze apparatus and grasped it firmly with his hands, swinging himself down to release at the lowest point of the swing so he could simply stay poised mid-air as he forgot the release the safety belt around himself. It took a moment for him to realize he wasn't floating in midair due to his super flight abilities, but because he was stuck.
He cleared his throat and released the longe, allowing himself to drop the rest of the way and land on his feet. He looked at the young girl and frowned - ah.. she looked familiar! How strange! "Good day, miss! I was gallivanting up above as I heard the cry of a girl in need! Pray tell, are you the damsel in distress? For I, SUPER KUIPER, have come to the rescue!"

Alette was surely dazzled as she watched the splendid, costumed man swing down to her level. His movements were swift and graceful. It even seemed like he floated in mid air for a time! How impressive. Alette's eyes began to shine in admiration. Her mouth gaped open and she stood still for a second until the cogs in her mind began to turn again. So this was the man that her father sent her to seek out? It seems like the trip would be well worth it! And the girl tried to express her enthusiasm, but she just couldn't quite get her mouth to work. She fidgeted for a bit and cleared her throat a few times until she finally regained some of her composure. "H-Hello, She squeaked, then cleared her throat one last time to bring it down an octave or two. She braced herself and steeled her mind to reveal her reason for coming. She rose one hand to her hip and widened her stance, then jutted her other hand out, pointing it towards Super Kuiper. "I'm no damsel!" She spoke with a confident grin as she got ready for her big reveal... Until she realized she did not have the letter in hand. Alette scurried through her stuff as she tried to remember what had happened between entering and now that would have made her misplace the letter. "I'm... a..." She ruffled through her skirt pockets and patted down her body in the search. Quickly losing confidence, the girl began to feel ashamed at her one chance at making a good impression on a hero being ruined by losing her father's letter. Her head hung in depression for a second before she saw the letter on the ground and realized she must have dropped it in amazement before. She knelled down and picked it up, clearing her throat just one last time while standing back up. Alette took in a deep breath and held the letter up to Super Kuiper, "I'm here for this!" Sadly though, besides the name Finnian Buckely on the envelope, the letter itself had nothing instructing his old friend on what to do. In fact it had no writing at all, just the imprint of a chicken talon.

This was the best day of Finnian's life – well, one of them, outside of the day the superheroic aliens chose him to save Nirvani Island has Super Kuiper! That was still his backstory, right? He was pretty sure that was what he had decided on, but he would think over it again later when he didn't have a fan to inspire! She was just the right age group that he was aiming to impress, too! He stuck his chest out a bit in pride at how huge of an accomplishment this was, watching her stutter over herself with a chuckle. He was a bit disappointed that she wasn't in need of rescue, but it was impressive how confident she sounded – perhaps..! Perhaps this was the girl he had been waiting for! “You're..?” He encouraged with bright eyes full of excitement at the idea that another – oh, a letter. He just got a letter. He wondered who it's from? He took it and looked it over – his.. oh, sweet merciful Batman, it had his alias on it! He swallowed hard and turned around from her as he quickly shredded it open to examine the inside.
As he unfolded the paper inside, he hurriedly spoke to the girl in what certainly wasn't anxiety-riddled rambling, “Ah.. ahahaha, I do not see why you would believe that I, Super Kuiper, would require a letter for someone who is not at all related in any shape or form to me – who is this Finnian Buckley? He certainly sounds like a perfectly mediocre citizen! Not anyone who would be hiding anything! Perhaps he works in a large business firm as most normal, average men do? Not the heroic work that.. I..” His words died as he recognized the symbol. Only one man – one dear, long though departed friend – could know to send this to him. He felt a tear spring to his eye as he gripped the paper and spun around. Ah, yes! That is where he recognized her from! She looked just like Chickenman! How did he not see it before?! “This.. can not be! Could you be the daughter of Chickenman? But.. my good friend of many years, who fought alongside me in the eternal battle against evil, he's dead!”

Alette really didn't register a lot of what Finnian had said leading up to the whole 'her father was supposed to be dead comment'. Her mind was rather simple after all, so she just stared towards his direction until she was addressed as the Chickenman's daughter. "Mhmm" She nodded as she struck a heroic stance, feeling proud for her father's idiotic persona. And this is when those tiny little gears in her cute little head began to turn once more. She vaguely remembered her father not being dead the last time she saw him... But, it had been a couple of days and her mother was on the violent side as of late. So it could have been reasonable to assume he was dead (though probably not). Alette decided to push the issue off to the side for the moment. Regardless of her fathers state of being, the girl had come on a mission here and that took precedent. "My dad always spoke highly of you mister Kuiper," She began lowering her stance and returning to a relaxed position and tone, "He said you were a man who knew justice and how to enforce it!" 'Hero' was the one word that the stories told to Alette described Finnian. "My father told me that I, who wants to join the fight against evil, would only benefit from the training of a hero such as you!" She spoke excitedly with a large gleam in her eye. If there was any person on the earth to guide Alette down the path of righteousness, it would definitely be him.

In front of the main tent, a lone figure stood, her head looking down the several paths that weaved around the circus. It was obvious that she was unsure of herself, as the girl kept looking down at a crudely drawn map. Now where exactly was I supposed to meet the ringmaster? she wondered with a slight frown upon her face. Today was supposed to be her first day as a circus acrobat, and she had to go and forget what she was supposed to be doing! The girl ran a hand roughly through her short messy hair, heaving a long sigh past her lips. Here's hoping I'm just early or something...
So, the tomboy jammed her hands into the pockets of her cargo pants and proceeded to walk around the tent. Guess I'll just take a look around.

Tshila was in the main tent, poised high above the ground (with a practice net beneath her), red nylon wrapped around each leg as she balanced between the two long swaths of cloth strung from the roof of the tent. She slowly shifted downward, before spiraling precariously into a new position, torso pointed downward, and the cloth wrapped around her waist. She held the position momentarily, surveying the tent from her upside down position as an unfamiliar woman entered. Oh! Was that...was that a newbie? Or just a lost patron? Not that they were open at the moment, but still, it could be! Maybe. There was only one way to find out. Tshila grasped the loose ends of the nylon in her hands, then twisted up to grab the taut pieces above her. Wrapping the loose parts around her arms carefully before windmill falling toward the practice net below. She let herself drop to the net, then over the side of that to the ground. Rolling her shoulders carefully to work out the tension, she looked around for the others. "Finniaaaan!" she called as she smiled and waved at the new girl. Honestly. She never saw him around here, like, ever! "Hi there! Are you looking for someone? I mean, you know, besides me since I don't think you'd be looking for me since we haven't met...even though I'm someone. I mean, you know, someone specific and all? Because I can totally help you if you need it."

Lunesca was jogging around the grounds, trying to work herself up. Performances were happening so frequently now that Summer was back around and her spirits had to be high. Who would ever want to pay to come see some boring stick having target practice? No one! That was precisely why she was currently jogging around while singing as loud as her lungs would allow her. She was coming around the corner nearest the big top and spotted someone up ahead. She stopped her singing and reached down to pull a knife out of her boot. It was getting too close to showtime for someone to be attempting to ruin the show. She took a few steps closer, trying to be certain that it wasn't one of her co-workers. Once she was certain it was an intruder, she swung her arm back and let the knife fly.
Of course she wasn't aiming at this girl. No, she was throwing it safely in front of her to make sure that she got the clear warning. Luna started walking again, this time at a normal pace and came to a halt within a few feet of this new person. After noting the map, she crossed her arms in front of her and tilted her head slightly. "What do you think you're doing? There shouldn't be anyone that is unauthorized here at this hour." She scowled down at her before being distracted by the awful sounds of Tshila's rambles. Goddess, did that girl ever shut her mouth? She turned her head towards the awful bubble of happiness and sunshine. "Finnian's probably off tangled up in his big boy panties, again." Working with these simpletons was starting to get pretty tiring.

Brown orbs curiously followed the blonde acrobat's descent from the highest point in the big top to the ground far below. So this was to be her job as well, right? The dark-haired girl glanced up, a smile forming across her face. She was always up to a challenge, especially one that would surely get her heart racing.
As the woman came down to greet her, Aidan smiled, returning the familiarity with a wave of her own. "Uh, yeah," she gestured towards the crumpled map in her hand. "I'm supposed to be meeting the ring master about my first day here... but I can't seem to find the guy."
Before she could say anything else, a knife flew past her head. The girl jumped slightly, putting her arms up in some s**t-tastic attempt at a defensive stance. Just as this happened, another woman approached, and she was none to happy to see Aidan. "Jesus murphy woman, are you trying to kill me?!" she blurted out accusingly. Her arms fell down to her sides once again, though the tension in her shoulders was still obvious. The dark-haired girl held out the map for the woman to see. "My name's Aidan, and I'm supposed to meet your boss about the acrobat position I just filled in."

While her coworkers trained and practiced, Elliot spent her time giving Zinka a walk. The tiger got so restless during the off-seasons, Elliot had grown accustomed to giving her lots of walks during the spring, and it had become a habit. She had the tiger on a leash, and the two had leisurely been strolling around the perimeter of the circus grounds, pausing every once in a while so Zinka could sniff a rock or eat a mouthful of grass. They had made one lap around already and were on their second when a group had seemed to gather! Giving Zinka's leash a small tug, Elliot walked over to where Lunesca, Tshila, and a short-haired girl were talking. "What is going on?" she asked, looking at the three girls quizzically. "Are you having a party? Is it a secret?" Why else would Finnian be excluded? She stared up at Aidan unblinkingly, taking in the girl's face, as Zinka lazily sniffed her legs, drool dripping on the ground. Elliot could mop that up later.

Ah, a beautiful day! Finnian loved the summer best of all, if only for the fact that people may come and enjoy the attractions – or, rather, some specific people that Finnian particularly enjoyed may come to the circus. Like a certain pretty lady who he had hit off with rather well as Super Kuiper! But, it had been seven days into the season and he had yet to see hide or hair of the delicate female – still! He couldn't lose hope that he would run into her, so he continued to insist on wearing his superhero costume, which was.. probably no surprise at all at this point. It was hard to catch him without the cape, mask, and whatnot, especially when he was at his circus where it wasn't looked down on! So, the man had just been strolling through his circus, munching on a hot dog when he spotted an unusual gathering of employees in front of the main tent. His brows rose from behind his mask and he dropped the wrapping his meal in a garbage can because littering was wrong as he observed what he could from his distance.
...The eyepatch wearing spy was nowhere to be found, so he supposed this must have been a meeting of an innocent nature.. He hummed thoughtfully until he spotted the short, brown hair of what he could only presume was a stranger which meant that it was someone who had yet to be introduced to Super Kuiper! He sprang into action then, grabbing the fistful of ketchup packets from his pocket as he dashed into the scene. Thankfully, a knife had landed on the ground a few feet past the group, so he quickly grabbed it and made for his grand entrance! He rushed past Elliot as he leaped into the air infront of the newcomer (Aiden), letting out a heroic, “Noo-!!” before crashing to the ground. He set the knife under one arm and did his best to subtly squeeze the ketchup packets over his uniform before turning over onto his back, “Never fear, doe-eyed youth, for, I, Super Kuiper, have risked his life to save you from the plot of the One-Eyed Clan.” Now he just had to twist and groan in pain to sell his near-death state and wait for one of the attractive women to come to his aid.

Aidan knew she would see wild animals at the circus, but she hadn't really expected them to be so tame that one could keep them on a leash. Here this girl was, strolling around the grounds with a tiger as if it were a domesticated dog. The dark-haired girl eyed the majestic creature as the pair approached, unable to help herself from feeling a little uneasy.
"Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a party," Aidan replied, turning to gesture at the knife on the ground-- or rather, the knife that was on the ground. "Hey, where'd it-" Just then, a figure flashed past the girl (Elliot) with the tiger, and crashed onto the ground before her. The acrobat let out a surprised yelp, and flopped down to her knees to kneel beside him. Her eyes studied the man's uniform, which was covered in something red and wet. However, she could see no entry wound, and to be honest, that 'blood' was looking a little suspicious now that she thought about it.
Wiping the chunky looking sauce with the tip of her finger, Aidan stuck it in her mouth for a taste test. It was sickly sweet, and any idiot could figure out that it was in fact: Ketchup. A sly smile formed upon the lips of the dark-haired girl, who couldn't help but snort out a laugh. "Dude, you almost had me there! Nice touch with the ketchup, though I would've watered it down first." Rising to her feet, she held out her hand so the masked man could pull himself up.

Gray was busy cleaning up and getting ready for the afternoon crowds when he saw the rest of the performers gathered around together, before Finnian flew in like the crazy weirdo he was and squirted ketchup on himself because...of whatever reason he did things like that. He started over to the group (which looked like some sort of deranged harem, really) when he heard Finnian mention something about the one-eyed clan. Gray's eye narrowed suspiciously as he sauntered closer. "I hope you're not talking about me," he said, eyeing the knife tucked beneath Finnians' arm. With a slight smirk, he leaned down to pluck it out, giving it a quick little toss before catching it by the handle again. "I mean, I've always wanted to try knife throwing--though I'll admit my depth perception is a little off." He gave Lunesca a slight smile. "Well, since this guy is ready to be put to pasture, do you think we can tie him to your target and let me practice a little?" He gave the knife a little flip again, before handing it to Lunesca blade-first and nodding at Aidan. "Pleasure to meet you, my dear. New member, then?"***** "New acrobat!" Tshila said. "She totally just said she's the new acrobat!" Tshila grabbed Aidan's hands and gave them a happy squeeze. "I'm Tshila and I'm totally happy to meet you! Do you have any experience? Like, what's your favorite thing to do? We should totally perform together, oh my gosh! That would be soooo fun! And I can totally show you the ropes around here.""I mean, you know, figuratively and literally because you know...acrobats and stuff!" Oooh right! She was looking for Finnian. "So, this is our boss down here," she said, nudging Finnian with her foot. "And, well, it's probably better to let everyone else just introduce themselves but I'm totally happy to meet you!" She didn't really realize she was babbling until she ran out of breath but it was just so cool to finally have another acrobat because they could totally do the most amazing shows now and performing with a partner was always so much more fun that performing alone even though it meant practically twice the practice but still! She was so excited she was practically bouncing in place!
