In crew discussions we talked about trying to let the guild know if and when you know you're not going to be very active (mostly for crew, but the rest of you should feel free to fill us in, too, especially if you're a relatively active member), so here's a list of my potential schedule conflicts that I'm aware of so far.
This week: My annual studio recital for my students is this Saturday, so my activity this week might be spotty.
Next Monday I'm going to visit my family in Paris, but I'll have my laptop and should have pretty steady internet access, but, you know, I only see my family a couple times a year, so I'll be around, but again, my activity will probably be spotty. I'll be returning home the following Tuesday.
For the first two weeks of July, I'll be in St. Petersburg visiting friends and giving a recital. I'll probably be able to pop in a few times, but I won't be super active.
At the beginning of August, I'm going to Oregon with my boyfriend to visit his parents (well, technically they're his grandparents, but they legally adopted him at birth and raised him). I'll be gone from 2 August to 12 August, so ten days. I'll have internet access but I honestly have no idea how often I'll end up being online. There's really not all that much to do there, so I might actually be online more than usual. Then again, my boyfriend is a crazy person and travelling him tends to be very unpredictable, so it's equally possible I'll end up dying in the woods.
And then at the end of August, my partner and I might go to Rome for a few day if we decide we can swing it financially. If that happens, I will probably be inactive for the duration of my time there.
So yeah, it's shaping up to be a busy but exciting summer. I love to travel, so I'm really looking forward to most of it.
Anyone else have anything fun and exciting planned for the summer?
