A bunch of the well known Disney movies have sequels: The Lion King, Mulan, Cinderella, the list goes on. I've heard really mixed reviews about them and I'm wondering what you guys think.
Have you seen any of the sequels or spin-offs? Do you like them? How do they measure up to the original films in your opinion?

when I was a kid I love the little mermaid two return to the sea. I felt connected to Melody and I would sing her songs everyday my family would call me little melody. But I didn't like Peter Pan 2 for some reason Jane was too I don't know I just didn't like her for some reason and I eight years old and I don't I think how she missed with Tinker Bell and messed up with Peter Pan that was just me. But I did like the beauty and Beast movies they would make on the side line, that all I can think of right know haha.

I loved that movie, too! I always thought grown-up Ariel was gorgeous. I actually haven't seen any of the spin-off Beauty and the Beast movies sweatdrop I wasn't a big fan of Mulan II or Fox and the Hound II, but I absolutely love Simba's Pride.
I think I don't like the sequels as much when they aren't full stories. From what I understand, Belle's Magical World is a bunch of shorter episodic pieces sort of put together and for some reason that doesn't interest me as much as a whole new full-length film.

I actually really loved the Little Mermaid 2 myself. It was a great movie with new characters introduced. I remembered it was always one of my favorites back in 2000. Melody was a pretty interesting character. A bit of a play on with the reversal role from Ariel's. So I liked that whole plot, I just wish they would create a third movie. But maybe.. It's for the best.
Oh and Mulan 2. It was alright in my opinion. A bit too much expectedness. The ending was a bit expected as well. But the reason why I liked this movie was the three princesses of China. Princess Mei, Princess Su, and Princess Ting Ting they were the reason why I loved the movie. The message they put into their song, I want to be like other girls. That actually opened my eyes to that girls that were born into being Princesses basically had to be trained daily, had no time to themselves, had no freedom, and had to follow a type of destiny set out for them. So when I heard them sing this song it made me surprised by the type of life they lead. I'm happy for everyone's happy endings. It was great to see all the original characters from the first movie. But seeing Mushu and Cricket back made me even happier. I really loved these two comic relief characters.
Oh and the Emporer's New School was brilliant. I actually used to watch it all the time when I got home from school each day. I love the many schemes Yzma (Did I spell that right?) had formulated to get Kuzco to fail out of the academy. So she could finally fulfill her goal of becoming Empress. However each plan and scheme would continually fail each time. I loved the additional characters the creators added. Melina and Kuzco a fairly great pair. I'm glad the creators decided to create her to somewhat balance out Kuzco. But my favorite character the same old lovable Kronk tops the series.
But so far I think those would be my top three favorite sequels.

Actually, if you think about it, the Little Mermaid did have a 3rd movie...even if it was a prequel.
Anyway, some of the sequels I have seen: All the Lion King ones (yes, even 1/2,) Little Mermaid 2, Mulan 2 and I saw ending clip of Cinderella 3...with her step sister being the one marrying the Prince.
So, I hardly have watched any of the sequels. xp But, I do like Melody. Might do a KH Crossover cosplay with her one day... ninja

Well I've played The Nightmare Before Christmas 2: Oogie's Revenge and I can say it was Ok, It had too much back tracking for my taste and the only time you actually encouter Oogie is at the end the rest or the time its his shadow... and aside from the main plot there are acouple levels that are just out of the blue and have nothing to do with anything for those that have played the game I'm talking about Fire&Ice it had no dialog or any purpose to the game.
and don't even get me started on Lion King 1/2 -.-

Ah, Disney sequels. There are good ones(Mulan, Lion King, Little Mermaid, The Rescuers, etc.).... and then there are the ones that need to stop existing...(Hunchback, Peter Pan..)
At least there are more good than bad..

The Little Mermaid II, Lion King II and the Christmas Beauty and the Beast were my favorite. The Hunchback sequel was just awful. I did love the second Goofy Movie as well. I watched that movie allllllllllll the time when it came out. I remember, cause my grandma gave it to me as a gift around summer time...and that's all I watchedddd. Toy Stories sequels were awesome as well. Does anyone remember that Buzz Lightyear spinoff show they had? It was pretty cool. I remember liking the princess in that one too.

Sailor Senshi Lottie The Little Mermaid II, Lion King II and the Christmas Beauty and the Beast were my favorite. The Hunchback sequel was just awful. I did love the second Goofy Movie as well. I watched that movie allllllllllll the time when it came out. I remember, cause my grandma gave it to me as a gift around summer time...and that's all I watchedddd. I don't remember the princess in that one, but Buzz Lightyear Star Command was awesome! I remember in elementary school, my school did this "Space Night" Sleepover where we had space themed activities, did star watching, and we watched the premiere of it! I don't remember the second Goofy Movie, but I do love the first~

I have watched the Lion King Sequels , The Little Mermaid 2 I haven't had a chance to watch 3 yet I want too. Hunchback wasn't that bad I like it really well. Cinderella 2 is the only one I have seen but I have seen MV with Cinderella 3 scenes in them. I also have watched Mulan 2 and I have watched Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas
One of my favorite Sequel was Return of Jafar cause he was one of my favorite villans in Disney ( isn't it funny the ones that scare you the most end up being your favorites ha ha) and I also like the song "Just Forget about Love" in the movie and always sung with it.

Anyone remember Bambi 2 and Pocahontas 2 ?

  Periwinkle says....I do I have to say I loved Bambi 2 it was just so beautiful because it focused on the relationship between a father and son.
Pocahontas 2 I liked it I just wasn't big on the ending though.
