xxPhysical appearance: Tall and of an average but muscular build, Flynn easily stands out with his appearance even if not meaning to. His hair is a light, nearly platinum blonde, and styled with short spikes and long sideburns that curve around his cheeks. His eyes are also strikingly blue, which just happens to compliment his uniform. His posture is straight, almost rigid, perhaps out of habit due to his military training. The use of a sword is also easily evident by the callouses on his hands. Typically Flynn will be seen wearing his Guarde uniform, which is primarily blue and white. Though when he is off duty he will probably be wearing dressy casual clothes such as nice button up shirts and slacks. Very seldom is he seen wearing extremely casual clothes.

xxHistory: Despite his current rank and status in the middle class, Flynn came from a very humble background. His parents were poor and lived in the Lower Quarter, where he incidentally met his best friend Yuri Lowell, and spent a good part of his childhood there. However, his father, a member of the Guarde, was killed during an unsuccessful coup after the then recent overthrow of the government. After that, his mother decided to move them to another town. Once he was old enough, Flynn decided to join the Guarde and entered the Academy where he was reunited with his childhood friend. However, after they had graduated and during their first post, Yuri left the Guarde. While they didn't see completely eye to eye, Flynn understood his reasons and he remained. Now Flynn has climbed the ranks to Captain, and has been assigned to the small Grande Ile military presence in the allied nation of Kodo.

xxPersonality: Flynn should have been born a noble. He enjoys politics and the upper class scene, even if he thinks its a bit frivolous. With his quiet and polite demeanor, he fits in well. However, he also exudes a strong and authoritative presence due to his rank in the military. He is constantly having to keep up appearances as well and is very careful about how he acts and the impressions he gives. This is due to the fact that he is a very ambitious man and is looking to climb to the highest ranks. Since he is not of noble blood, the military is his only venue for that. One might think his ambitions are self serving, but the opposite is the case. He is looking to change his country, for the better. While he has a great deal of respect for the Duke of Grande Ile, Flynn believes in democracy, and hopes to one day gain enough influence to steer the country in that direction.

In uniform Flynn comes off as a bit stuffy and serious, but if one gets to know him personally they would find a very warm and caring individual. Like his best friend, Yuri, he believes in justice. However, unlike his friend, he chooses to change things through politics instead of taking matters into his own hands. As a Captain, he is already making efforts to improve conditions in the Lower Quarter of Grande Ile's captial. When out of uniform though, Flynn still isn't very casual. He strives to dress nicely and is... well, a neat freak. His apartment is kept spotless and everything is in its place. Very straight-laced, he goes out of his way to do the right thing.

That said, when he's around Yuri, he's a bit different. Flynn tends to let himself loose a bit more when in the company of his best friend. The few times that he drinks alcohol is usually in the presence of Yuri. He can relax with his best friend because he knows that Yuri is one person that won't judge him.

Flynn is also known to be quite long suffering and patient, however, when the right buttons are pushed, he can have a seething temper. Anger is something he usually internalizes but can come out viciously in certain situations. Yuri is often the one that tests the boundaries of his patience, but it is not limited to just him.

Celsius is a designer Pokemon from Grande Ile that was purchased by Flynn after he became a Captain. He decided he needed a pet to help him fit in with those of higher status. Despite the intentions, he does his best to care for her. Though her cold personality makes it a bit difficult to have an affectionate relationship, she at least has a measure of loyalty and behaves herself quite well.

Since coming to Kodo, Flynn has started training her recreationally and both have come to enjoy it.
