It really was amusing, and impressive as well, the way that this particular Ysali was continuing to run from him. The fact that it had yet to bleed out made it that much more worth it when it came to chasing the thing down. It must have an impressive drive, meaning it had a powerful soul, and with that powerful soul would come a powerful orb. It was something that Eyphah wanted, his claws itching to get a hold of it. He'd continued to chase this one until the sun went down and even after that. Hunting at night, it would make it that much easier to catch up to and surprise attack this particular Ysali until it finally coughed up the orb that the Diabi Drakein so wanted. It wasn't just this Ysali orb though, he wanted many of them, as well as many other orbs in all of the colors of the dragon rainbow. He would even go after his own if the need for it arose, which it likely would. If he wanted the true power that went along with being a Drakeinian he couldn't show mercy for anyone, even dragons of his same clan.
That was a long time off though, before he was ready to face the powerful Diabi of Souldul he was going to have to continue training against the weaker breeds. It was why he was here on this overly bright, awful continent known as Serenia after all. This place seemed to have the most Ysali gathered all in one place, making his task of hunting their green, scaly hides a little bit easier. The problem being that they were a little more resilient then he would like. He wanted them to just start coughing up their orbs and giving them to him. The sooner they started doing that the sooner that he would stop tormenting their kind. Instead he would start to go after tougher ones with more valuable orbs, "Soon." He muttered to himself, his tail lashing from side to side, the hooked end of it gleaming in the light as he crept along toward his bleeding prey.
They had another quick run in, another tussle between the two of them that landed both with some more scratches and bites to go along with their growing collections, before the Ysali was once more running off into the woods, "Such a cowardly lot." He muttered, wings giving a little flutter, before he hurried along after the torn, eager to catch up with it to start the process all over again. A process that he would do as often as he needed to do it to get his orb!
