Zero also was up and around very early, seeing that all was fine with his little herd and going about his patrols, casually strolling through the sun dappled grasses. This forest was nowhere near scary in the light of day, it had it's own charm. He inhaled a deep breath, his legs just barely visible under the light of the sun, he fairly radiated warmth; With his white pelt glowing, he could easily be spotted for miles.

It was very relaxing, just existing in a place this peaceful, he only wished he could share it with others. His mind drifted to the shadowy mare, Yamika. He felt his ear tips grow warm thinking of her, she was a wonderful, kind lady and quite easy on the eyes too...So alike they were! His little herd had been curious about her, and more than welcoming to the idea of letting her stay. He wanted to bring it up to her as an option, if she wanted to that was.

His ears swiveled forward as he heard something close by, perhaps it was her! He fairly pranced that direction, his tail curling and uncurling in tune with his happiness.

" Yamika!" He exclaimed, cantering happily up to the shadowy mare " It was you I saw, ah, i'm glad you came back!" He fairly chirped his words, his tail much like a coiled spring. " I hope you haven't been wandering around too long, I should've looked for you earlier, I was anxious to see if you would return...ah, is that weird? He felt color spring to his pale cheeks, maybe that was weird...hmm.
" H-how has your morning been? good?" He backpedaled his conversation awkwardly, had he any particular feeling in his knees he would think they had turned to mush, she was very pretty after all! Perhaps she could hide it way better than he could, but he was extremely pleased to see her! " It's a lovely day out, almost as lovely as my present company!" He crowed, acting quite silly.

Zero felt like he had somehow swallowed a bunch of butterflies and they were fluttering about in his stomach, he was silently glad that his belly wasn't transparent as well! They might've all come out and given him away!
" Oh, er, i've been well, I mean, better than well! It's always nice here, lots of stuff to do, uhm...heh" He stumbled over his tongue, awkwardly, he was sure he was turning pink, not easy to hide due to his pale complexion. " The herd has been clamoring about you, they think you're very sweet, I do agree" He grinned from ear to ear like a giant goofball. " I'm glad you've been better, I mean you feel comfortable here, er, with me and uh, the trees! Though sometimes they get tricksty you know, gotta watch out for those trees." He chuckled, his tail curling and uncurling quickly, almost in time with his heart, which threatened to jump out of his chest at any moment. He decided it was mighty silly to trapeze around the questions he really wanted to ask, he fretted a bit that she could have a stallion she fancied out there somewhere, worried that she could find another home, far beyond these trees, but then disregarded it.

" Say, Yamika...uhmm, can I ask you somethin?" He fidgeted a bit, avoiding looking directly at her lest he do his best impression of a beet.

" Ah-humm~" He tried clearing his throat, his tail curling and uncurling nervously behind him, he'd never really had time for interest in things like love, but after consulting with some of the mares in his herd, they agreed that he had been completely struck by it. His ears wiggled as he tried to figure out a way to pose two questions at the same time. " Well Yamika, I was thinking. We haven't known each other long or anything, haha, uhm. But I was wondering, with you not having a home and all...if you'd like to...maybe make your home...here?"

He smiled awkwardly, a lopsided half grin of hope " With me?" He added, sputtering a bit " I mean if you have someone that'soktoo but..." He took a deep breath " I kind of really like you, I mean like like you, er...You know! AHAHA! I'm a complete nut aren't I?" He stuck his tongue out, his cheeks flushed.

He felt as if he were just going to float away on a cloud, she liked him too! what joy, what happiness he felt! He imagined he could just vanish completely and materialize whole again by love of her alone. " Tha-THAT'S WONDERFUL!" he managed to choke out, his cheeks aflame with pink. " I was so worried, er, I mean that you wouldn't want to…ahaha~" He curled and uncurled his tail nervously in front of this beautiful mare that he had come to know and love, who was so like himself. " You are amazing yourself Yamika" He smiled down at her, fairly buzzing with joy. " I've got to tell everyone! aha, oh gosh I mean, we, we will" He sighed out all of the tension he had been holding in, laughing heartily " ahhhh, i'm so glad you're staying, that means…it means everything! That you would want to stay with me, make your home here" He carefully closed the distance between them and rested his head against her neck " Welcome home" He managed to whisper, so enormously overcome by emotion he feared he'd cry/
