Being dragged to Soudul had been uneventful and now she was left to her own devices as per the norm. Though this time they had set up camp and she had been instructed to not wander too far. Since she had gotten her weapon though...she was finding it harder and harder to listen to her father. The weapon gave her a sense of independence or at lest...not feel so weak. Thus instead of staying put she wandered a bit away from their make shift home.

Working on trying to twirl the staff in her hand she managed to drop it unceremoniously to the ground. She had learned that the staff could adjust to anything she wanted it to look like and thus she had willed it to be a large smooth wooden tree branch. Call her nostalgic but she couldn't help but want it to look like the first thing she ever used as a weapon. Besides it helped as a walking stick as well.

Moving she headed towards the sound of water, careful to not get herself lost as she went and then found a pond of sorts. Or rather a shallow pool where little silvery fish darted in the shallows. Standing there she watched them in quiet fascination.

The young hybrid didn't seem to notice that she was being watched, in fact she was so absorbed with watching the little fish flit through the shallows that it took an immense amount of effort to notice the hair standing on the back of her neck or the goosebumps forming on her arms. Dragging her gaze away from the water she clutched her staff in her hands, twisting it as she peered over her shoulders. Perhaps it was due to being hunted by that ysali dragon so many times that she could sense she was being watched.

Should she try and face it? Whatever it was it wasn't going away...it seemed keenly interested in her. Which normally never bode well for the young woman. Turning around fully she took a couple steps forward as she didn't want to be backed into the pond. She was trying to spot whatever or whomever was watching her, her gaze sliding over the bushes and tall grass slowly.

Her body posture read as tense, she was uncertain and mildly fearful of what could be watching her.

As the boy stood up she felt herself take a small step backwards in surprise. He had dark skin much like her own , though he seemed to be a pure bred rather than a hyrbid like herself. Her hands twisted on the wooden hilt of her staff in a worrisome manner. Was he going to attack her? Her skills with the newly acquired weapon were lacking.

"...I was....looking at the fish.." She managed to say looking very uncomfortable with his attention. Though she was trying to avoid looking at him she couldn't help but be drawn back to gaze at him. It...was bizarre to her, after all this was her first time meeting a full blooded oblivionite.

"Are you here...to kill me?" Was the young girls next question for she had spotted the daggers in his hands. Somehow she wouldn't of been surprised if he was sent to kill her. The little she knew about her mother she did know that she had been an assassin.

This news alone was enough to make her wary, you'd think she would relax once she had been told that her life wasn't in danger. But instead she looked even more uncomfortable, she knew how to react to hostility, so what was she suppose to do now?

The green orbs in her eyes 'blinked' the only sign being that the light flickered out a moment before returning. Her hands were so tight on the wood her staff was made of you would swear her hand would come away with splinters.

Prying one hand off the weapon she lifted it and fiddled with her long hair in a nervous state. "Oh..." Was her response, "...why.....we're you watching me then?" Tilawen asked lifting her head slightly before glancing away again. Tilawen was just so awkward with people she had never met before.

A slight tilt of her head at the new name and she flinched as she realized it must of been the keindred he was referring to. Seemed everyone had a drakien as...a friend? Pet? She still wasn't clear on the relationship they had with the creatures. She knew that they were intelligent but...

Lost in her thoughts at the new question she didn't respond right away instead she gave a little jump as she realized that he has asked her something.

"Ah..y..es..." She replied sounded less like she would like to reveal the whereabouts of her companion. "Bu..rrom is in town right now...I..am alone .." She replied, the concept of lying to him didn't occur to her. Perhaps later she would wish she had lied.

"...Y..ou? Are...you alone?"

Tilawen watched as the keindred moved towards the pond and began to drink, still nervous about it being so close she moved a few feet to the side before looking back to Kilian. She knew it was dangerous out here, and she wasn't suppose to have left the camp, but that false sense of courage upon getting her weapon had perhaps gotten the best of her.

"I..k..know...I..just wanted...to look around." She stated slowly and carefully as she looked from the keindred back to the boy. "...what...are you doing...here?" was the red heads next question. After all she had a reason to be in the forest, why was he here?

Tilawen looked at the outstretched hand a moment before she..tentatively reach out to poke his hand. Shaking hands wasn't exactly something she did frequently if ever. She watched as the small drakien moved silently back to the oblivionites side and her she looked about after he had mentioned dragons being about.

Her past experiences with dragons had been...less than successful and often was her running away in fear. So she felt a little better knowing she wasn't the only one who was having issues with them. It felt weird to say she was calming down, but slowly as time past and she didn't think he was going to suddenly maul her for no reason she felt muscle by muscle relax.

"Tilawen." She replied looking to Amadia before back to Kilian. "Have..you killed any yet?"
