It seemed that the place they had settled down was a draw for Kiandri, at the moment Junjei, masked by his heavy cloak, and Abellio, who was hiding under it, were standing at the top of a sand dune looking down at the pair of Kiandri that were at the Oasis. The Ysali shifted his staff from one hand to the other then gave a thoughtful sound in his throat, "Mmm... it seems as though we might want to consider moving camp." He murmured to Abellio. While the oasis had many uses, the first and foremost being a constant source of water in the otherwise dry expanses of sand, it also had its downfalls. The worst of those being what the pair of them were looking at right this moment, "So what do you think? Should we wait? Hope that they move on?" Hard to tell though if they would. There was a Kiandri skeleton down there, the one left over from one of his fights, so they must know that something was amiss. What if they were waiting for him to return? Given that his pack was down there, tucked under the beast's skull for safekeeping, he couldn't just leave. He needed that pack.
Abellio peeked out from Junjie's cloak for a moment, currently cuddled against one of the halfbreed's legs, completely covered save for his face, and he gave a crooning sound. Junjie gave a nod of his head, "We will give them a chance to leave. If they choose to stay then I suppose that we are going to have to show them why that was a bad idea." He had been able to take on one of their kind and win since coming to Eowyn, no reason why he couldn't take on another though truth be told he wasn't sure what he thought about fighting two Kiandri since they were new to him. He didn't know all of their potential tricks, just knew that they were electric based, blended in well when they wanted to, and could be a pain.
Junjie eased himself down to one knee, making himself smaller so that he would blend in better with the sand, and fell quiet as he and Abellio waited. Best to see what they decided to do first. It wasn't long before their intentions became clear, they were waiting for him. They must know that his pack was there, must smell him on it, and they knew he'd be back. It wasn't the water they wanted since after an initial drink they weren't even paying it any heed. No, this was going to be a time when he had to battle to get back what was his, "Next time maybe I should keep it with me, even if it is heavy." It made things more difficult when it came to investigating the area around his base camp but it was better then it being potential stolen each time he left. He didn't want to lose any of what he had in there after all.
"Are you coming with me this time? Or do you want to wait behind again?" He asked of the little one who was instantly clinging to the cloak, patting one forefoot against the ground as though to say that he and the cloak were staying right here. It was something that had Junjie sighing a little, "Maybe we should see about getting you your own cloak then." Might as well since the little one seemed so determined to keep Jun's cloak all the time. He set about quickly undoing the clasp on the cloak so that he could step out of it, putting it around Abellio's neck instead, then lifted the hood so it was over his head but not his eyes, "Alright, you see about blending in, I will try to chase off those who are waiting on us." He said as he started to gather power into his staff, making the top of it glitter with a brilliant yellow light, preparing one of his favorite spells for his first strike...

Erionda pulled the book off the shelf and scowled in concentration as she leafed through it. On the one hand, she wondered if she weren't being a little short-sighted in thinking that finding some kind of answer as to why the hybrid had a lowered ability to survive the heat of Eowyn's desert. On the other hand, it might exacerbate the situation, too, given that there wouldn't be any way of reversing whatever caused it. Still there was always the chance of comfort if she could discover the real answer.
At breakfast, Uassae had suggested that it was due to her new clan. That her tolerance to the cold hand now lead to a great intolerance to the heat. Emptying the large barrel of water Erionda had surrendered to her older Drakein's suggestion. Her father had left her writings and a key to a house in Ais. That would have to come later, after some studying she would need to refill the water barrel.
When do we leave?
Erionda squeaked out a small sound of surprise as she slammed the book closed and whirled to face Lanzecki. She hadn't thought of taking the small Keinling with her, not since he hadn't awakened his power yet and couldn't fly like Uassae. Those were crucial points when it came to battles. She winced inwardly. Letting those feelings convey through the bond.
Flitting the book back onto the shelf, the hybrid moved towards the barrel and several saddle like packs. Looking up to find Uassae already standing by them waiting. Giving a half smile Erionda reached down to pull the packs onto Uassae's back. A small backpack of her own for water followed over her own back. "Stay here." Erionda cautioned Lanzecki.
There was a source of water not far away where Rio gained her water supply from. Though her trip was usually unhampered. The hybrid always brought her weapons along. Even if the sands, Kiandri dragons had a miserable ability to hide undetected.
The trip to the oasis took little time but a disturbance in front of the pair made Erionda freeze in her tracks.
The hybrid drew her sword before she started forward again. An odd hush in the surrounding sand dunes nagged at her. The sense that there was some sort of significance in the unearthly silence weighed on her mind. Drawing nearer to the Kiandri pair, she felt a strange sense of foreboding as she glimpsed the remains of a Kiandri dragon.
Had someone been fighting here recently drawing what appeared to be two Kiandri in anger? Erionda gripped her sword as the nostrils on one of the dragons flared and it's head turned in her direction. Cursing her luck, Erionda's ice blue eye lit up as a layer of ice white flamed seemed to dance about her blade.
Scuffing her feet in the sand, Erionda burst forward swinging her sword at the first dragon.

Junjie didn't notice the companion that had joined him in battle, not at first, he was focused instead on the closest dragon to him. His first move was to use his staff to vault himself over the edge of the dune, sliding his way down it. Once he reached the bottom the closest of the dragons turned toward him, giving a snarl, which was instantly met with Junjie's blinding Aeduan spell. The Kiandri gave rather displeased snarling, sound, lifting one claws forefoot to take a swipe at him but the Ysali mage was already moving again, calling up his next spell, this one far, far more difficult to use in a place like this. He never got the best of reactions, just tiny vines that burst forth, good for only entangling one limb at best. He used it this time to snag hold of the dragon by it's back leg.
The reaction of the Kiandri to the back to back spells was as he thought it would be. Blinded it just sort of flailed about, hoping to catch Junjie by luck alone. Then, as it's back foot was tangled it's attention turned to that, leaving it completely open to attack. The Adept was quick to take a couple of quick steps forward, lifting his staff, and used the end of it to finish the beast off as quickly as possible. He knew how debilitating his spells could be, as such he was always quick with dispatching his draconic opponents, never wanting to cause suffering. The only reason he fought them was because he had to. One needed such orbs for many reasons after all, Junjie was no different. With that dragon left to crumble away he whirled around to meet the next one in combat... only to find that it was already being dealt with by someone with a sword.
Junjie blinked a couple times, looking for a moment confused, then felt excitement and recognition welling up in him, "Erionda?" Well now, that was a surprise... to think they would run into each other in Eowyn of all places and in the middle of a dragon battle once more. What were the odds? Nothing bothering to try to figure out what they might be he started to gather power once more for another spell, just in case she needed his aid with taking out the second dragon.

Erionda jumped backwards after her strike prepared for the dragons retaliation. The dragon bellowed, slashing through the air with his claws outstretched. The hybrid arched away from the flying claws. Erionda gritted her teeth as the attack barely missed. The dragon laughed. "So slow, half-breed! Why is that?"
Erionda pushed off the ground, launching herself at the dragon again. Arms straight down at her sides, Erionda drew back and slashed with her sword again. The Dragon extended its wings, shooting a bolt of lightning out of its extended wings. She tried to alter her course but wasn't quite fast enough. The bolt caught her in mid-air, and Uassae cried out his name as Erionda's pained scream echoed through the sandy dunes.
With a vicious sneer, the dragon took a step back, and Erionda fell to the ground, gripping her shoulder. Pushing herself to her feet was slow, but she managed and in the stillness, she dragged the sword she had named Abish from the sand. A light blue aura reappearing around the blades surface.
Thrusting the blade into the ground Erionda smirked as several spikes of ice burst out of the ground in succession. Each spike raced towards the dragon impaling it's neck. Smiling as she watched the dragon to the side crumble into dust. Her eyes catching Jun with a wink before the dragon she fought crumbled into dust moments later.
Coughing what felt like a buildup of sand in her lungs Erionda fell to one knee. Her hand holding her shield landed before her to stabilize her while the one holding her sword remained buried in the sand. Junjie had changed considerably since the last time she had seen him. She could barely recognize him now. A part of her wondered the same as her mismatched eyes blinked in his direction.
