Another day and another fun, fun chase! Eyphah rather loved the Ysali, the way that they growled and fought back when he came out of the shadows and jumped on them. He'd been able to get one of their orbs thus far, not a lot but he'd gotten one! He would continue to chase the creatures about, pouncing them where he could, and do his utmost to get his claws on them and their wonderful, glittering orbs of power. He wanted it, all of that power, and he gave a little purr of delight when he caught the scent of another of that sort of dragon, "Ahh... ha... so there you are." He murmured, his maw turning up into a grin. Time to get moving he thought to himself as he quickened his steps in the direction that the Ysali was located.
The moment that the big, scarred up Diabi spotted the one that he was following he was lunging, jaws snapping down on the Ysali's front leg, before he was taking a few slashes at him with his sharp, curved claws that the had that were specialized for hunting and subduing prey. The run in was a quick, violent clash between two large, dangerous beasts, and it ended with the Ysali fleeing from Eyphah and the Drakein landing hard on the ground, trying to recover from the bite and scratches he'd gotten in return, "Eesh, that one seemed to be a little more grouchy then usual. I like it!" Pushing up to his feet he shook off before he set to licking his wounds, tail swishing. Even wounded he was amused by fact that the dragons always seemed to try to flee from him after a quick battle. They really were weak, weren't they? Weak, but it made things far more interesting by running, it allowed him to give chase after all.
"Alright, time to count to ten, then I will pursue." He said, crouching down before he started to count under his breath. The moment that he got to the number ten he was running again, chasing along after the Ysali, grinning all the while. He so loved dragons, he just found it a shame that they fell apart when you killed them... though thinking on it he supposed that he could still make a meal of the bones. They still had the tasty marrow within them after all. It was a strike of inspiration that he decided that he would need to try out next time he defeated one of them in battle. For now though he had to chase the thing down.
