Today was a lovely spring day. It was warm, sunny, and not at all windy. It was also the day of the Tulip Tea Party.
The Tulip Tea Party was an unusual get together for lolita fashion fans. Unusual, because it took place not in a ballroom, cafe, or any place like those, but in the Forest of the Tulips. Other than that, it was the usual tea party. There were giveaways throughout the day, a pair of vending machines that gave out random brand accessories, bargain basement priced brand coordinates, and of course, tea and baked goods.
Tenko wouldn't have missed it with the world. She wore a hairbow, a dress with bloomers, white thigh highs, and heels. When she finished wasting money in the vending machines -- she was aiming for one of the changepurses, but instead she ended up with four teddy bears and four rabbit plushies -- and engaging in idle chit-chat, she took a seat, so she could share tea and cake with Champagne.
She released Champagne from her Pokeball and set a saucer, teacup, and plate for her. She thought she looked rather barebones in comparison to herself, so she wanted to give her something to put on. As she didn't have arms or legs, it would've been troublesome to try to stick an entire outfit on her, so Tenko took off her hairbow and put it on her instead. "Eee! Don't you just look precious!" She clasped her hands together and cooed.
Champagne accepted her compliment with a nod. She also wondered if it was normal to have tea parties on red and white plaid tablecloths in the forest. Whether or not it was, she thought it seemed lovely. She alternated between taking sips of her darjeeling tea and bites out of her lemon cake with whipped cream cheese frosting.
