Into the woods one must go to find the most peculiar place of Nirvani. It is through this thicket of wooded area, yawns open a clearing lush with weed and vine and past it, a creation from history. These ruins appear to be what remains of some castle of sorts or at least a very large and imposing building in it's time. It is uncertain whether said building stood in all it's glory before the hurricane or if it, perhaps, has always been a mystery to the residents of Nirvani. Stepping over the wall and breathing in the musty air that pervades, a certain aura – persona – will overcome. The walls are still eroded and cracked and riddled with greedy plant life, sometimes knocked down altogether in some areas, yet one will feel as though they have gone back in the decades. Walking the now open-roofed halls in the same fashion that many have before them, looking into the eyes of the ever vigilant owl roosting high above in a forgotten door, one will find that nothing here has changed. Not the wind, storms, or fires could remove the beauty and elegance in the architecture – even with it decaying as it is. Ah, but, not all has been left to waste away. In the back, left corner of what seemed to have been a main hall, there is a beautiful shrine. Here, we give worship to the Ice Fairy and all it's past followers.

Angela had gone for a walk, this time not in town (truth be told, she was kind of worried about meeting that crazy lady again), and had ended up in the middle of no where at some ruined...place. She wasn't actually even sure what it had been at one time, but it was currently falling apart into crumbling stones and vines. And it was beautiful. Picking her way over the stones, she found a little alcove with broken lattice arching over head. Angela settled in, pulled out her sketch book and, propping her feet against the wall, started to draw. She would just stay out here until evening, then head back and sneak inside before her father got back from work and yes! Perfect plan. She wouldn't have to see him at all until tomorrow...when she actually had to work. For now, all the art. She started humming to herself quietly as she drew, eventually starting to sing softly under her breath. "Oh there was a young lady from Grosvenor Square Who said that her clock was in need of repair In walks the bold German and to her delight In less than five minutes he'd set her clock right. Now as they were seated down on the floor There came a very loud knock on the door In walked her husband and great was his shock For to see the old German wind up his wife's clock The husband says he, "Now look here, Mary Anne Don't let that German come in here again He would up your clock and left mine on the shelf If your old clock needs winding, I can wind it me-self!"

Morgan felt incredibly uncomfortable. It was bad enough that the end of the year had crept up on him so fast, and now he found himself forced into entering some sort of slave auction. He should've chosen another festival earlier on. No, what he really should've done was never promised his mother that he would attend two festivals a year in the first place. One was plenty. In all honesty, he was perfectly fine with not going to any. However, when his mom did bother to check in with him, she was always disturbed by his lack of social interactions. Morgan thought it was the coolest thing ever to relay that he had made it outside of the house without a bag over his head. He was determined to have a wonderful story to write his mother, even if that meant going out of his comfort zone. Unfortunately, he had left his comfort zone at home and was now hiking through the wilderness to do goddess knows what with a woman that he didn't know. He had an over-sized backpack strapped to himself that contained anything that he could possibly need, from copious amounts of disinfectant to several paper bags for hyperventilating.
Bundled was almost an understatement to what he was. He had overalls over his jeans and long-sleeve shirt, snow boots, and a ski mask covering his face. Overall, he had a relatively high tolerance for cold, but his attire had less to do with the temperature and more to do with not wanting to feel the teeth of the predators that were sure to bite into his legs. It felt like he had gone through a month's worth of salary in cigarettes along the way, but that wasn't stopping him from continuing to attempt to relieve his nerves. What kind of a person had won him? This seemed like the perfect place for him to be lured in order to be murdered or to perform some awful sort of deed that he did not want. He was a slave. They had paid for him! That basically meant that they could demand whatever they wanted. He was starting into a panic attack and reached for a paper sack when he saw the ruins forming in front of him. Deep breaths. In. And Out. In. And Out. A part of him was overjoyed to see that the ruins were so close, but another (larger) part was terrified that that person was already up ahead and setting their sights on his fragile little neck.

Ah yes, the ruins. It was the perfect date spot. Sure, it wasn't the most normal thing to do for a date, but it was much more fun! In all honesty, it was probably the most interesting place in town, and now she had someone to come and join her on her adventure. Maybe they'd even find some cool artifacts or something! She had never stumbled across any before, but there had to be some somewhere around this place. She was sure of it, where else would her sister's friend find all that stuff for his museum? And there was no way he could have found everything already. No, with her date's help they would find something, nothing could stop them, not even the chilly weather. Speaking of her date, where was he, anyway? Shouldn't he be here by now? After all, Mitsukai had spent her hard earned money for this date.
She sighed and plopped down on the edge of the ruins to wait for her date. Maybe, she'd be able to spot him heading her way at least. She sat for a while, kicking her dangling legs back and forth while she waited. It wasn't long until she thought she saw a figure heading her way. She couldn't quite make them out, but with her with her awesome reasoning skills, it was easy enough to deduct that it must be Morgan. She hopped up from her place, smiling and waving at the figure approaching, "Hello!" she called out.

Morgan was startled to see a woman pop up out of seemingly nowhere and greet him. So startled, in fact, that he grabbed his bag back firmly and began blowing back into it. He wanted to stop where he was, but he was afraid that hypothermia might set in and that he'd just stand there and turn into an ice ball. Ice ball was not what he wanted to be remembered as. As far as he could tell, this woman seemed like a respectable young woman. She also didn't seem to be holding a weapon, which was a major plus. He allowed himself one final deep breath before lowering the bag and raising an arm towards her in greeting. After finishing his last bit of walking, he stopped a few steps back from her and forced a smile through his fears. "Hello, miss. I'm Morgan, I assume you are my date?" He worked his way out of his backpack and placed it gingerly on a piece of rock near them. It was much easier to stretch his arms without the constraints of the large bag.
He felt the worry starting to lessen and allowed himself to look around the place, just to take note of where they were. He had barely made it out of his house during his lengthy stay on the island, so the ruins seemed to be a bit of a delicacy. It really was a fascinating place and the feel of the area was completely different from that of in town. He didn't want to admit it, but a part of him was enjoying this. Even though it looked like a nice place, he couldn't imagine what they could possibly do. Well, aside from some really weird ritual or something. Oh goddess. He was starting to feel nervous again. Was it possible that this sweet, innocent girl could be preparing him for some ritualistic offer to the fairies? He had read many books on the lore of the island and thought he recalled the ruins being a place of rest for one of the fairies. For the life of him he couldn't remember which one. Oh what did it matter? He was going to be murdered up here! His blood would blend into the melting snow and he would just be a memory. It was best to just get this out in the open now. "So, what are we going to do?"

She continued to wave while she watched the figure, he was holding something but she couldn't quite tell what it was. No matter, she'd find out soon enough! Oh and look, he was waving back now! This was sure to be a fun adventure. She stood in her place, waiting for the man to reach her, which he soon did. "That I am," she confirmed with a smile. She looked to the bag Morgan had set down, "Oh, what's in there? Adventuring stuff?" she asked eagerly. She sure hoped that's what it was, because if adventuring stuff was needed, she had completely forgotten to bring any.
After looking over his bag she turned around to answer his question. What were they going to do? Shouldn't that be obvious? "We're going to have an adventure!" she stated, enthusiastically. It was then that she immediately realized that there was a problem. This guy was wearing a ski mask, and that was not adventure like at all. Okay, so she didn't know that for sure, she mostly just wanted to see his face, but still! "Are you gonna wear that the whole time?" she pointed to his face. "I'd kind of like to see my date," she laughed, "I mean, you get to see me." Really though, that wasn't fair at all! She had paid for the guy, and she couldn't even see what he looked like?Mitsukai placed her hands on her hips to emphasize the importance of the situation at hand. "Well?"

Morgan was still feeling incredibly tense as the woman began talking to him. And talking to him. And talking to him. He knew that he wasn't much used to interaction with people, but he was sure that this woman talked more than was normal. Ed never talked that much. Of course Ed was only a slight step away from Morgan's own level of recluse, so that probably wasn't the best person to compare her to. His body stiffened as she mentioned the removal of his mask. Why did she need to see his face? Wasn't it good enough to know that he was here and a man? All faces were really the same anyway. Though her logic was flawed, he felt guilty. With a deep breath, he reached up for his ski mask and tugged it off. He shook his head a little, attempting to readjust his messy hair. "Well, there you have it." He cleared his throat and leaned down to push his ski mask into his bag. He straightened his back and looked over at her. "I have items that will assist in making this a safe and bearable experience." He thought of listing off all the items that were stacked neatly within, but that seemed a bit tedious. If she was meant to see them, then she would.
How did one initiate this sort of thing? Was he supposed to just start having a grand ole time? What did adventuiring even mean? Oh, this was all so confusing. He was certain that he did not ever wish to participate in any other form of matchmaking that this silly town seemed to be so fascinated with. How many things were there that he could've studied today? How much could he have learned if he wasn't spending the day out with some stranger in the wilderness? "Let us adventure." He clapped his slightly shaking hands together in front of him and began walking towards the portion of the ruins that actually resembled ruins. "Maybe we can find some sort of ancient artifact." He mostly mumbled to himself, but thought that maybe she should be a part of this. What was her last name? He hoped that his would come first in the periodical.

Mitsukai watched intently as Morgan began to remove his mask. It wasn't creepy(yes it was), there was just so much anticipation! Upon the reveal of his face she began to clap happily, and pointed to his head with a smile "Ah! Red hair!" she then pointed to her own head. Oh he also had blue eyes, just like her! It was like they were twins or something! How exciting! If she wasn't sure that this adventure was going to be a success, she did now! They could activate their twin powers and easily conquer any adventure! She looked back to the bag he was referencing, and gave a nod. So it was adventuring gear, that was the second time she had been correct today! So far, so good!
"Yes, let's!" She looked around the surrounding ruins, just which way was the best to go? Which would provide the two with the most adventure. Before she had the chance to decide Morgan had already taken off and she quickly followed behind. She looked at the man as he mumbled. Was that addressed to her? Well, either way she was going to answer! "I sure hope we do! There's gotta be something somewhere around here," she beamed.

Morgan was a little shocked at how excited this girl was because of his features. He was very used to having red hair and blue eyes. Was this some sort of rare genetic malfunction? Could that explain his capabilities? Oh, no. She was just pointing out that they were similar. Of course, he was much more fond of his darker hair when compared to her lighter, but that was obviously a personal thing. He would never, ever, openly bring attention to that. He didn't want to upset this girl. Especially since upsetting her would probably cause some more interaction, and he was fine just walking his own path away from her. Hmm... it was strange to be wandering through the snow in attempts to go on some sort of adventure. How should he even start? Was he supposed to just dig through and hold up some obvious junk and rave over it? Would that get him home any faster? He closed in on the rubble and kicked around a little before crouching down in a dramatic fashion and examining what turned out to be a simple rock. If this was what adventure was, Morgan was certain that he didn't want to do it anymore.
He raised back up and took a few more steps in a different direction before looking over at his companion for the day. It couldn't hurt to try and probe her for some sort of information. That was what people were good for, after all. Even if it didn't seem like this girl had all that much information that could be of use to him, he was still going to try. "Why is it that you decided to purchase an adventure?" He kicked around some more snow as he looked at her and waited for an answer. This could perhaps be one of his best chances to ever gain insight into the mind of a young woman.

Why did she try to purchase an adventure? What kind of silly question was that? The better question would be why not purchase an adventure? "Well, for one adventuring is super fun! that's only part of it though," Wow, this guy was silly, had he not known what his own bidding description had been? "But also, because when I went to bid your description said that if I wanted an adventure, then you were my guy!" Surely, he already knew that though, right? She crouched down beside him, "Did you find something?"
Oh, it was just a rock. She turned back to Morgan, and tilted her head to the side, to give him yet another look over. "Y'know, you don't look like you're very good at adventures," Ah! Had that come off too bluntly? "No offense of course!" There, fixed. You never could trust those date descriptions, could you? Well, lucky for him, it was never too late to learn adventuring skills, and if there was anyone to teach him, it was her!

Morgan tilted his head quizzically. Why in the world would he be listed as an adventurous sort? He could not remember ever doing something adventurous in his entire life, let alone frequently enough to warrant that as a description. He simply could not imagine something like that. Regardless, she did not give much insight. He turned his attention back to their surroundings, instantly bored with this woman once again. She did not seem to be very bored with him, in fact, she seemed to want to do more talking than ever. He supposed he could just listen and perhaps create some understanding from her statements. He stopped and turned his head to look at her once again when she had stated that he was not good at adventures. "I know. How is anyone good at an adventure in this type of climate?" He bent over to pick up a handful of snow and tossed it at her feet to make sure she knew just what he was referring to. This snow was blocking whatever there could be to find, though Morgan was pretty certain that nothing existed under the snow.
He stared blankly at her, attempting to decipher what exactly she had meant by no offense. Why would he take offense to her stating what was very obvious? He did not have any prior experience in this sort of thing, how would he be good at it? One must work hard to be able to be good at things. He had never had the desire to learn the ways of adventuring and thus lacked this skill. Was that changing her view of him for mating purposes? Was adventuring a requirement of mating? "I do not take offense at your statement. Though it does create a question. Does my lack of adventure skills make me a lesser specimen for mating purposes?" It was important to know these sorts of things. One day, far off into the future, he hoped to be an acceptable mate for someone. The central goal of life was to have a mediocre experience and mate so that one's offspring could do the same, was it not? If lack of prior adventure experience would hinder his future, he needed to be adequately prepared so he could set the proper amount of time aside.
