The children's park is a newer addition that the mayor included only recently. Though, that doesn't mean that the playground is as lacking as the city's. The classic toys that one will remember in their youth are here in all their childhood glory, from the teetor totter (or seesaw, as some do call them) to the swings, this location has everything that a child could ask for. Well, aside from a jello castle and ice cream palace, but they can at least pray to the little shrine at the beginning of the park for those sort of things. Here, we give worship to the Dream Fairy and all it's past followers.

xoxoxox59 hours have passed since the Dauphines' arrival at the island. And 59 hours have proven to be not enough for the Dauphine children to understand why they moved in the first place. The decision itself was very sudden and very unprepared. Things started to get back into flow back at the old place; Diana was improving her grades, Derek no longer cried at night, and Darlene acted less like a rabid bunny. Yet out of the blue, they were told to pack their things and say goodbyes for a departure on boat in the next day or two? Very rushed, indeed. What exactly was going through their father's mind? xoxoxoxWell, anyhow, the Dauphines arrived a bit after midnight, and luckily for them, a house was all ready and ripe for the taking. Some shorty official of some sort or whatever was the first one to greet the family, and he led them to their new home. This, again, confused Diana greatly, because she didn't expect a new home to be ready from observing her father's restless disposition when they left their old home. The younger two, however, grew attached already, and blew out like a candle at arrival in their bedroom. xoxoxoxNow, it is about an hour before noon. Diana brought her siblings to the playground because her father told her to do so, so then he may do his own business. Like maybe find a job, Diana mused. Or get our citizenship. For wherever we are. The youth sat unmoving on a swing whilst watching Derek and Darlene chase each other around. The only emotion that Diana could feel at this moment was pure- yet passive -confusion. She likened this trip to a surprise family outing, albeit this outing was more permanent. Honestly, the past few days seemed so unreal to her. It all went by too quickly for Diana to sink everything in, leaving her in this state of passivity. Well, she's one to go with the flow, anyway, so she decided to just see how things play out. xoxoxox"Tag, you're it!" xoxoxoxDiana snapped out of her musings and saw her brother beginning to run away. Derek's excited breathing slowed as Diana stayed motionless. He tried again. "Tag, you're it!" He exclaimed after quickly tapping Diana on the arm. Again, Diana stayed where she was. Derek's face fell, "Sœur, c'mon, you're it!" xoxoxoxDiana shook her head and smiled weakly. "I'm not in a running mood right now, sorry." She turned her head and saw a panting Darlene waiting to be chased. "Both of you can keep playing with each other, okay?" Darlene approached her sister and Derek's shoulders slumped. "What? Go play!" Derek looked at Diana and sat on the ground, and Darlene stood while playing with her shirt. Diana looked at both of them before sighing. She really didn't want to run at all. But the boy was obviously playing his guilt card. "Okay, if you two can get me high up in the air, I'll play tag." At this, the younger ones perked up and immediately positioned themselves behind their older sister. xoxoxox"Okay, Darlene, push at the same time as me, okay?" Derek said. Darlene nodded, and the two counted to three. They made a very uncoordinated push that did not make Diana go anywhere except twist side to side, much to her delight. The two attempted again, and failed. Derek decided to push on his own, and this time he managed to get her swinging. But little Derek was just too weak and Diana too evasive-she kept ruining the momentum- to push Diana to an acceptable height. xoxoxoxDiana giggled. "Yeap, there is no way you can push me higher."

When Mimi had left the inn in search of that one friend she knew would always help her no matter what, she meaannnt the first person she came across because almost everyone was Mimi's friend once they got to know her! Which they would – really fast – because she was always sure to introduce herself properly when she first met them! She had been walking really fast from the inn and had just happened to walk past the local park when she saw the first people of the day. Yes! She just had to go down there and tell them her situation and they would definitely help her! But, first, she had to help them out because they simply did not know how to swing right!
“Let me! Let me!” She cried out in a very brief warning before shooting down the hill leading to the park and right at the swing the girl was sitting on. She gripped the chains and, pulling back really hard, she pushed forward and ducked under to give new girl the biggest swing ever. If she was still even on the swing, that is! Mimi hadn't bothered to check until she had run halfway through the park, finally digging her heels into the blacktop to stop her dash. At which point, she turned to stare at what was hopefully the best example of a perfect swing-pusher ever!

Diana was very amused with her sibling's attempts, confident that they would neeever push her any higher than maybe a foot and half off the ground. It's great, because 1) she doesn't have to run anywhere and 2) the two can stay amused for awhile. It's a win-win situation.
Derek, on the other hand, was determined to get his sister flying. No way she's gonna weasel out of another game of tag. She thinks she can just have her make them push her all day. Well news flash, sister- I'm a whopping 10 years old, now! Two digits! You can't fool me easily. I'll get you off the swing... Somehow. Sadly, his efforts have been futile to this moment.
The younger ones' hopes were diminishing, when a girl with scarlet hair came to the rescue! The three siblings turned their heads to look at where that cry had come from. Derek and Darlene's eyes widened with excitement and hope, Diana's with confusion and dread. Derek and Darlene stepped back with big smiles, and Diana's own mouth was in a grimace, her stomach churning for the fear of actually being swung really high.
"H-hold on!" Diana pleaded as the red-headed girl gripped the chains. Oh no. She was basically parallel to the floor when she was pulled back. She turned back in a pathetic attempt to change the girl's mind, "W-wait! I-"
Derek and Danica's mouths dropped with joy and wonder as they watched older sister swing high into the air. It seemed as if time slowed down, because Diana looked as if she stayed in the air for a little while before finally- what comes up, must go down. Diana landed with an "Oof!" on her bum and the other two cheered for their red-haired hero.
"That was AWESOME!" Derek exclaimed whilst walking to the girl. "How did you do that?!"
Rather, who is she? Diana thought while trying to stand. But she agrees. That was a VERY impressive, and painful, swing.

Oh, YES! It really was the best example of a swing, even if the girl on the swing had fallen off, but that wasn't really Mimi's job to keep the girl on the swing! She just had to make sure she went really high and it seemed her soon-to-be friends had all agreed with her! She beamed at the kids, hands on hips and chortling excitedly. Ah, that gave her such a burst of energy! "I pushed! How else could I have done that? Unless I had psychic powers or something, but I don't think I've ever met anyone like that though papa seems to be pretty convinced that they exist - say, would you know one? I would love to meet them and maybe we could be a team together! Psychic detectives! Or special agents - OH!"
Her speedy rambling was cut short with a gasp as she remembered she actually did have a mission here! Mimi stepped around the boy and went to help the older girl stand up, since she seemed to have been having trouble with that! "Hi, hi, hello! I'm Mimi Murrow, ace papergirl of the Nirvani Post, which is the best source of information around here! Do you have a subscription yet? ..Oh, but, first! I need your help! Or, I need everyone's help! You see..." She knelt down to the ground shortly after helping the other girl stand up, motioning for all to come close because her super special secret mission had to be kept secret and apparently crouching down helped with that.
