[x]First off, instead of each character getting their own thread for their journals, each user will create one thread for ALL of their characters. For example, Serendipitous Coma may have 73646483 characters. Instead of making 73646483 individual threads, she'll make one uber thread and put all of her characters' journals into it. This way, you'll be able to find any character you want without having to root through pages of names. And if you put a Table of Contents in there, it'll be even easier to navigate!
[x]Because each thread will have so many journals, you will not be required to write journal entries. Instead, you'll have to maintain a relatively detailed relationship log for each of your characters.
[x]Each person your character meets gets a section in your character's relationship post. There are two categories -- friendship and romance. Friendship, obviously, means how friendly your character feels towards someone. Romance is the romantic feelings your character has! This way, two characters can be good friends and completely platonic, or they can be madly in love but not know each other that well! Each category (friendship and romance) gets a colored heart that reflects the intensity of your character's feelings. The ranking goes as follows:
