Well now, this was not what he was expecting, not in the least bit. Tail lashing from one side to the other the Diabi starred at a strange, silvery colored dragon that looked as though it had been injured in a fight against someone else in the passed. It was likely here to rest and recover, to lick its wounds before returning to the fray. Poor, unlucky, and stupid creature... to think that it would be allowed to lick its wounds in the presence of someone as great as he was! Ha! There was a part of him that was thinking about what he would think, what he would feel, if someone stumbled across one of the dragons that he'd marked with intent to kill it. He would be beyond angry, he didn't want 'his' dragons being killed by others after all but when other did the same thing? Eh... it was their loss. These dragons and their orbs were his, they all belonged to Eyphah, and if you asked him they were better for it. He was the one that was in need of their wonderful, glittering power after all. What did the two-legs do with them but to buy and trade them as though they were nothing more then trinkets? Bunch of fools, this orb would be in the best of hands with him, of that he was certain.

Hunkering down he set to creeping forward, drooling a bit as he went, preparing to attack the pretty, silvery beast, wanting nothing more then to learn to very important things today: One, how did an Ayrala taste, and two was their orb as beautiful as their glittering silver hide. With a snarl he lunged forward, threw himself into the air, and onto the back of the injured dragon. The tussle with it was a fun one, especially given its attempts to take to the air, and for a moment he was pretty certain that the thing was going to make it even with his added weight... which was the reason why he went for the wings first. This sort seemed to be adept when it came to air combat from what he recalled and as such he couldn't let this one off the ground. The moment the wing was broken things got more fierce, as if the Ayrala thought that it had any sort of chance in escaping from the orb hungry Diabi. The silver dragon did it's best but the sharp, blade like barb on the end of Eyphah's tail finally sank in deep, striking home, and the creature went utterly still before collapsing.

With a flap of his wings the Drakein lifted himself up off of the dragon before he landed nearby, tail lashing wildly, as the beast started to crumble away. Soon enough all that was left there was a skeleton and a glittering silver orb. Just as he'd thought, it was as lovely as the dragon itself and now it was all his! Giving a sound much like a purr he trotted forward, grabbing it up in one of forefeet, lifting it up to look it over, "Hello there, beautiful! Aren't you a sight for sore eyes." He purred, looking at his reflection in its surface for a moment before he gave a delighted flutter of his wings. This orb, this beautiful glittering orb, was the first step toward him becoming glorious! Pushing off the ground he was quick to fly away with the beautiful item, he needed to hide it away for now, to keep it safe, until he gathered enough of them and it was time to head for home.

He meant to go home only once he gathered a good amount of orbs, enough to impress. He wanted the trip here and the one back to be worth his time after all and a few orbs would make it more then worth his time and the new scars that he added to his collection. All that mattered, more then a few measly scars, were the orbs that would show off what he really was and that was a power Diabi worthy of the title of Drakeinian... though that was a ways off. Couldn't get ahead of himself, he had to remember that he needed many, many orbs before he could even think of becoming such a wonderful, glorious creature as that.
