THE RULES!
Oh yeah, like everywhere, we have to have rules. We know that most of them are obviously obvious but what can I say? Some people need to see them or they'll think there don't have to follow any!
So here they are!
So here they are!
xoxoxo1. Follow the Gaia ToS, and most definitely follow the Daisy Code.

xoxoxo2. Literacy is expected. Use proper grammar, punctuation, quotes. No *...* for actions. There is a GOOD four line minimum in every post (that's around 150 words). Nothing like,
Underachiever
She sat down.
Now, those just don't count, folks. And remember, four lines is the MINIMUM. We expect more, but are very understanding of times when that may not be possible.
xoxoxo3. We value quality over quantity when it comes to characters and roleplaying in general. Make your characters realistic. No fantasy type characters. Human only. Try to aim for characters you could imagine seeing in real life, so don't make them flat, either. Also, please don't go overboard in character pasts. Drama does not make your character interesting. Nothing like,
She-Who Must-Not-Be-Named
after being forced into sex by jimmy as frank held her down they made kina watch and brittany watch after wards they tortured and burned brittany's eye's till she was blind and malia became a house mother working on college courses online part time since she couldnt finish high school due to rumor's but over all she is a loving cheerful girl she also wishes to write childrens stories and help victims of abuse and such also
xoxoxo4. Romance is encouraged, but no cybering. Gaia is intended for people 13 years old and older, so you should ideally stay in the PG-13 range.
xoxoxo5. Violence. Fighting is okay, as long as it's reasonable. But no killing, unless you've received explicit permission from both the owner of the character and a crew member.
xoxoxo6. Maximum quoting is 3. Any more and it gets annoying. However, you should only use quoting when necessary.
xoxoxo7. No racism, sexism or discrimination of any kind in OOC. Please try to be as civil to your fellow guild-mates as possible.
xoxoxo8. This usually isn't a problem, but it sometimes comes up. No godmodding. Although you may here this from time to time, it often seems that most people don't really know what godmodding is. So here's a definition for you:
The Holy Powers That Be
The act of assuming a position of Godliness within the roleplay. Such things that constitute as God-Modding include assuming your attack automatically hits, never getting hit by other people or taking any damage, having large amounts of power that no one else has, explicitly saying what another person's character would do in response to you, making a ridiculous amount of time pass in one post, and using out of character knowledge to accomplish things your character couldn't possibly know.
xoxoxo9. BE ACTIVE. This cannot be stressed enough. If we think you are too inactive, you will be warned. Failure to heed the warning will result in removal. However, if you have a good reason for your inactivity, post in the absence thread or speak to a crew member.
xoxoxo9.5. Highlight this post for the secret.
If you're joining, sweetums, be sure to put 'I pledge myself to [insert either Synny or Serend or Loli here] into your request or else we'll just ignore you. ;D
xoxoxo10. Report any abuse, rule breaking, or any sort of behavior that troubles you to a member of the crew. They're here to help you. Comments, questions, suggestions, etc.. should be made in the designated thread, but complaints about other members (including crew) can be sent to crew members to be addressed personally.
xoxoxo11. When interacting with a character in a group roleplay, please bold the name of the character, so the person in charge of that character knows you're talking to them.
Chatty Kathy
Kathy walked into the bar and took a seat next to Owen. She was absolutely sure that she had never met him before, but boy did he look cute!
xoxoxo12. New members cannot own any businesses until they have been roleplaying actively for three or more weeks.
xoxoxo13. All important character information such as history, must be completed before interaction with your characters can begin.
xoxoxo14. And, of course, have fun!
