Leaning against a large rocky wall Erionda gasped for air. The winds had grown stronger over the past few hours and it had taken everything Erionda had physically before she was able to find the shallow cave. Even with the protection of the cave, Erionda didn't feel quite safe. The shallow cave offered little to no protection against the buffeting of the wind. And with a dragon nest of broken shells not far off to her right, Erionda waited with baited breath in case she would accidently bring trouble upon herself by standing so close to the home of at least three other Dragons.
It wasn't like she was alone either. Both Lanzecki and Uassae had accompanied Erionda on her hunting trip this time around. And was key reason she had sought shelter against the wind. She wasn't taking chances with Lanzecki's abilities in the strong pressure.
Reacting the the slight nudge at her side Erionda let her hand down to carress the Keinlings head.
Uassae growled. Erionda frowned as she stared at him. Still staring into the rocky outcrop, the hybrid slowly shifted her hand to Abish. The name she had given to her sword. As she sensed the approach of a strange beast. "Stay back," she mumbled. Lanzecki obeyed grabbing up the sack of food and medicine before he ran to duck behind her.
The ground gave off a small shudder just before the rocks on the edge of the cave started to tremble. Erionda gasped as a huge Ayrala dragon lurched out of the trees two babies at it's feat. Raising its giant head as it sniffed the air, Erionda could see the wan light of the crescent moon reflecting off the dilated pupils, off large grey eyes. Opening its drooling maw to unleash an ungodly screech into the night, it slowly lumbered toward them as Erionda drew Abish.
