It was a long journey from Soudul to the land of Ayr for his next hunt. Eku decided to make camp there for the time being in hopes to become successful and to become stronger too. That is always important to him. He would also hope that this will also help Vilzun want to become stronger as well and not just wasting his day munching away. The tales he heard about the dragons was something to hear and also about Ayr of their blistering weather and storms. But it’s really not going to stop him of what he wants to do.
The ferry made dock upon the continent as he and Vilzun walked upon the land. Immediately, a gust of wind blew before them as the two held their footing. “Dis wind be damn troublesome . . .” Eku muttered under his breath as he looked down to see Vlizun digging his claws into the ground. Soon the winds have died down, but the two have been greeted warmly by a couple of Ayrala dragons who has spotted them. “Damn it . . .” The mage cursed as he saw the angry pair and he and Vilzun are completely caught off guard by their arrival. From their massive, powerful wings, they created a cyclone that was aimed right to them. The young Keindred was in a state of shock to move but Eku had moved quickly and used a dagger he kept to cut his arms to let the dark blood seeped out. He cast a spell as the blood thickened up and transformed to become blood ropes as they reached out and latched down to the ground. It even managed to wrap around Vilzun to keep him down as well. It slowly strained the mage as he gritted his teeth and stitches tightly for the pain is unbearable but he has to deal with it and being trapped within the cyclone.
But the wind has died down and the cyclone has vanished. Not only that but also the two Ayrala have left and probably gone back to their home in the Great Rocks. Eku was exhausted as the blood magic have dried up and seeped into the ground before he fell down on his knees. Vilzun opened his eyes finally after cowering from the winds and saw Eku down and he moved over to see him. “Eku?” He said as he nuzzled against the mage which made him chuckled at the concerned he received and he lifts his hand up to pet him. “I be fine Vilzun . . . just tired.” That’s all he was as he slowly stood up on his feet with the help of the Kirani who slipped under his arm to be his support as they walked further into the continent to start up a camp to rest and fight another day.
