Junjie stepped outside of the makeshift home that he had been been staying in with the Sage before he gave a smile, look around for a moment before he lifted a hand up to smooth a hand over his tightly braided hair. The winds of Ayr didn't allow for any other hairstyle if a person wanted to keep their hair long, which Junjie did. He loved his hair, even if the winds of Ayr didn't really make it easy to keep it that way. It was quite the chore but one that he didn't really mind. If anything brushing it out and braiding it every day it was a soothing, helping him to calm himself after a day of training. Looking over his shoulder he gave a smile, "Come on, Abellio, it's time for us to go on a dragon hunt." He called to the little green Keinling who came trotting out after him, tail swishing rapidly, and he knelt down to scoop him up for a hug, "If we do well the Sage says that he will show us where a new, even stronger sort of dragon is located. I am kind of curious to see what it might be." He wasn't bored with the Ayrala per say, they were a fast and dangerous breed, but at the same time he knew them well. He wanted a fresh sort of challenge that he could test his powers out against.
Nuzzling against Abellio's soft feathers he gave a smile, "Let's prove ourselves, then we can see about traveling a bit." He told him before he eased him down to the ground, scratching him under the chin, "Just remember, you are to stick close to my side, alright? I want to make sure that you are safe." Abellio was still far to little to stand up against any dragons, not that he showed any desire to fight, and as such Junjie would need to protect him. The hybrid gave a smile before he started to walk forward, his staff, which doubled as a walking stick, in one hand as he walked along through the rough terrain of Ayr, his braid swishing in the wind. It was time to find an Ayrala, to battle it, prove himself for what felt like the millionth time to the Sage, and then he would be allowed to know the secret that he had been tempting Junjie with. Finding Ayrala on the continent of Ayr was the same as trying to find leaves in a forest, it was easy to do, there were many of them, and he didn't really have to go all that far afield before not one, but two, of the silvery gray creatures started to circle around him, both roaring, jaws snapping, seeming as though they were preparing to dive bomb.
"To my side, Abellio." He said, words that had the little Drakein rushing over to him, ducking under the back of Junjie's robes and peeked out the other side, looking up at the Ayrala before giving a little chirp of warning at Junjie when one of them started to dive toward him, claws extended, "It's alright, Abellio, nothing to worry about." He reassured the little one as he lifted up his staff, pointing it at the diving dragon, green magic gathering around it, then as the Ayrala got close enough vines shot up from the ground, entangling the beast, dragging it in for a crash landing. The vines continued to entangle the beast even as Junjie turned to look at the other Ayrala that seemed to become even more enraged seeing it's fellow dragon grounded in such a manner. Junjie lifted his staff to point it at the second Ayrala, "Close your eyes, Abellio." He ordered his Drakein, an order that caused him to duck back under Junjie's robes before squeezing his eyes closed. This time around the energy gathering around his staff was a glittering yellow power, one that he flung at the beast once he had enough power, and the spell exploded into a flash of bright, blinding light that effectively blinded the beast.
Due to the temporary blindness the beast was forced to land as well. Looking between the two beasts that he had downed his eyes softened just a bit, sympathy filling them, "Best that we end this now, Abellio." He murmured before he moved forward to do just that with his staff, seeing no reason to leave them bound and blinded, not the sort that wanted to see them suffering. They were dangerous foes, ones that would eat him given the chance, but that was no reason to go overboard. Were it not for his need of their orbs he might even leave them alone. A short time later, two orbs in hand, the mage was walking away, Abellio at his time, "Come, little one, let's bring these orbs to the Sage and then we will learn whatever secret it is that he is holding back from us." He said, smiling down at his trustworthy and loyal Drakein before the two continued back to where the Dovaa Sage awaited them, showing off the pair of orbs he'd gotten from his last battle, before moving to put them with the rest of his things.
