 Jeralyn was resting in the meadow of her grandmother Michiko's home. Her eyes were closed as she just allowed a gentle breeze to rustle her mane, feeling like nothing could disturb her. Everything seemed so peaceful, she actually preferred it this way. " Mmmm, so wonderful,"she stated softly.

 Loren trotted into the little clearing he knew that housed Paimon's family. His grey pelt blended in perfectly with the shadows of the early morning. He was here on two missions, one to warn Paimon about his Father's vile plans, and two, to spy on Ca for Avalanche. Why the two were interesting to the Sixers, Loren didn't know. He was only a messenger and his real loyalties lay within his heart with poetry and beauty. And to get good, and beautiful poetry, one must surround himself with devistation, maybe that's why he liked to be around the Sixers, but whatever it was, he was happy with his life, now that that damned Zoey was out of his mind. As he crept around, he noticed a most stunning sight. A black female with feather adornments and green and blue markings. She reminded him of a poem, or an epic tale, and before he could resist, he approached her. "Excuse me, miss?" He said lightly, his poetic voice calm and lacking its usual loathing.

Jeralyn was just about to take another bite of food, when she heard a voice beside her. Her glowing emerald eyes were soon on the stallion, who she had to admit was quiet handsome. She wondered what he was doing here and why he was talking to you.
"Yes, can I help you?"she spoke calmly, no emotion in her voice. The only ones who ever saw emotion from her was her family now and even that had been thanks to her cousin.

Loren smiled at the female. She was as stunning as that Dolphy female he had met awhile back and had decided to settle with. But for now, with her gallivanting about with that child of hers... (he visibly shivered at the thought of children, though he knew were he to bare one, he would be more than comfortable with taking care of them and making sure they got the right 'education'), he was free to have fun, and take no prisoners... or well.. go ahead and take a couple, just for fun.. you know.
His head tilted at the sound of no emotion in her voice. How strange. A beauty like her should have an abundance of emotion... good emotions, not apathy. "I'm sorry to bother you miss, but you reminded me a of a poem, one of my favorites. Do you mind if I regale you with it?" He offered, his smokey blue eyes shining bright with intellect.

Jeralyn was curious where this stallion had come from and what he was doing here. Knowing her family as she did, she knew she needed to be on guard for any tricks, but she supposed listening to a poem wouldn't hurt any. If anything went wrong, her parents were near by and her mother had a link to a whole bunch of their family who would come to the rescue, if they needed to.
"Very well, proceed with this poem. I am curious to hear what poem you thought of that I reminded you of,"she responded, still with no emotion. He was a stranger, he did not have the privilege to see her happy or sad.

Loren smiled at the female, noting that by her demeanor that he would need to earn her trust. All in good timing. He cleared his throat before beginning the recitation from the top of his head.
"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."
He finished with a flourish, his eyes closed as he listened to the end note of the sonnet in his head. Perfectly recited, every word was has it should have been. He was still and silent for a moment before turning back to the gorgeous female. "My name is Loren, and who might you be, Beauty of the Earth?"

Jeralyn listened to his recitation of the poem with rapt attention, it really was a lovely poem. Her tail swayed from side to side in interest, the only real sign she liked the poem while she stood there silently. When he introduced himself, she inclined her head to him in acknowledgment.
"My name is Jeralyn, it is nice to meet you, Loren. May I inquire what brings you here?"she asked. She was curious, she had not heard of this stallion before.

Loren dipped his head to Jeralyn, affirming that he had gotten her name. "I was simply traveling. I am a poet, and as such, I enjoy traveling the Isle and other continents so as to gain better inspiration for my poems, and you my dear, have truly added well to my muses." He said warmly. 'May I ask what family you hail from?" He asked, wanting to make sure that this was indeed the correct Jeralyn before he gave her the message from Garth.

Jeralyn thought he looked harmless, but of course, so had others that had hurt her family in the past. Well, she supposed this stallion would find out anyway who her family was, so might as well tell him.
"i am glad I could be an inspiration to you, sir. My parents are Haides and Jaromila. If you hail from here, you would know of my grandmothers, Serenity and Michiko,"she spoke.

Loren gave a soft nod, and a brief smile as he thought of Michiko. 'Yes, I was once acquainted with Michiko. She was a lovely foal when I first met her and she grew into a lovely female." He smiled and shook his head before bringing himself back to the present.
Time for business.
"Dear Jeralyn... I must admit to you that I have come here looking for you." he said slowly, softly, hoping not to scare her away. "A friend of mine has sent me to fetch you for him. A male by the name of Garth..." he said.
In truth, he knew nothing about this proposal, whether they had met before, or anything.. He just knew that that male Garth had asked him to fetch her for him, for he was to mate her.

Jeralyn looked surprised when she heard him say that he had known her grandmother, this was certainly news to her. Then she heard what he said about his real reason here and she got into a defensive stance.
"I do not recall ever meeting this Garth person, so I do not know what he would want with me. I am not leaving my family just because some stallion wants to see me,"she said, narrowing her eyes.

Loren raised his eyebrows, so Garth hadn't met her before. How interesting... it was something that sounded like a story from an Epic.. and Epic he wouldnt mind composing. "My apologies them, Miss Jeralyn. I know nothing of why he wants you, only that he sent me to find you and bring you to him." He gave a sad smile. Although a Poet, Loren was a crafty little blighter, one that was resourceful and cunning, and this was a high paying job, that would get him higher in the ranks so he wouldn't have to be someone's blasted messenger anymore, and so he might be able to spend more time with Dolphy like he would love to. "I understand not wanting to leave your family to see a stranger, certainly one that asks for you without even having the decency to meet you first." He shook his head. "I agree that it is very rude of him... However... Perhaps you and I can come to another agreement.... as it is my job to fetch you..." he waited, hoping to get the answer he desired out of her.

Jeralyn arched an eyebrow, was this stallion really sorry for this, did he really not know why this Garth had wanted to see her? Since she really did not know him, she really could not make that judgement call at all. When he proposed another agreement, she fixed a look on him.
"What would you like to suggest?"she asked.

"Come with me to the South. I will lead and protect you, and you can meet this Garth, see what he wanted of you, and if you do not wish to stay, I will be sure to bring you back, upon my honor as a Poet, I will see that you stay safe until you return home." He said softly, hoping she would see that he was being entirely truthful. "Truth is.. I would rather be with my mate, than out here fetching pretty ladies like you for whatever it is that needs to be done, however, I have something that I am getting in return for this service that was asked upon me, and would like to collect..."

Jeralyn looked thoughtful when he proposed she go to the South with him, weighing the pros and cons. If she did not go, someone else could be sent to have her cooperate. Plus, it would not hurt to at least go see this Garth and find out what he wanted. This stallion gave his word and if anything happened to her, then her family would come to her rescue.
"Very well, you will be held to your word. I will go with you to see what this stallion wants, but I do not plan on staying,"she spoke very calmly.
