All players are led to a section of grass with white lines segmenting lanes. Burlap sacks are waiting for them. The coordinator smiles and gestures for everyone to pick a sack and a lane.
Traveling down to the finish line she waits while all of the players follow instructions and gives a brief set of rules. Then she holds her hand up, fixes her whistle in her mouth and as her arm falls she gives a shrill blast to signal the start of the race.

How to play:Each player can roll 2 d 20s every 10 minutes. If the 2 numbers are 5 steps apart or under that equals a hop. (high number - lower number < or = 5). Any matching set equals 2 hops and as an added bonus players may make a second roll for that 10 minutes.
If you manage a hop or double hop please bold them at the bottom of your post in red

The rules for the sack race seemed simple enough, get into a sack and hop down to the finish line. It wasn't something Arian had done before, but it seemed kind of fun in a 'I hope I don't end up tumbling over five seconds in' kind of way.
To his pleasant surprise Arian found himself managing a hop. Mayhaps it was beginner's luck, only time would tell.

It seemed that initial hop was indeed beginner's luck, trying to hop in the burlap sack not as easy as Arian might have hoped. He had managed it once before and he was hoping it wouldn't be a one-shot wonder.

It seemed that to some extent determination paid off as Arian managed to make another hop. It was a wobbly sort of hop - for a moment he'd thought he'd tumble - but he'd kept his balance and made the hop.
Arian hoped his luck would hold out.

Then he managed another hop shortly after. Arian was starting to think that he was on a roll - no pun intended.

It took a lot of focus (and no doubt a fair deal of luck) but Arian was pleased when he managed to pull off a double hop.
Okay so he'd wobbled a lot trying to pull it off, but he'd managed to keep his balance. Still Arian figured he'd wait a little before trying to pull off another one - single hops were hard enough.

Arian felt that he was totally getting the hang of the hopping thing, pretty happy with the hops that he'd managed to date and he kind of felt that he'd managed to get something of a rhythm up.
Who knew if it would continue to the end. Arian was going to keep doing his best though and see where it took him.
