It was a lovely day in the eastern kingdom of Stormwind. The breeze pulled in the salty air from the sea and in the very far distance the promise of rain was making its way in land. For today it was clear blue skies. All the merchants and traders filled the streets trying to sell their wares or trade for some magical item one of the champions or adventures had brought home from their travels. Today was the Knight Evieline's day off. Prince Anduin was currently studying some lesson that kept him busy and safe.

During these times she took the short trip to the trade district to see what she could find. His Majesty was getting tired of being held in the keep after so long. She couldn't blame him to be honest they had seen such pretty skies lately, she would have to arrange for them to study outside behind the keep one day soon. For now she tried to find a new mace or necklace....maybe a cool ring. Something the Prince didn't already have.....just something to brighten his day.

The Knight walked through the streets with out her helm and dressed comfortably in her cloth shirt and pants. Her royal tabard was traded for the simple Lion's crest on her chest. It was a warm day, and she wasn't to worried about being attacked since the Prince wasn't with her. Still her sword hung in its scabbard around her waist.

Stormwind. The city of alliance gold and blue. Finally she had made it to her desination! Kyannah, like most nightelves, grew up in Darnassus. Lush green grass, trees filled with purple blooms, this was her home. However, now that she had grown it was time for her to venture away from her island and explore.

With the guidence of Elune she traveled on the alliance fleet ship till it docked in the harbor. She didn't know quite what to expect of this city. Would she be one of the few druids there? Did the city even HAVE druids? Pushing her thoughts aside she breathed in the aroma of the salty sea breeze relaxing. She had been trained in the ways of druidism since birth. It was her blood, her mind, and her soul. Nature had woven itself into her exsistance.

Gathering her pack, she strolled down the wooden harbor ready to start her new journey.

Stormwind watch out, there's a new druid in town!

((OMG that was so cute!!! >w< -glomp- ))

Evieline walked through the trade district with her head held high. It really was a lovely day. "Did you hear what's going on in Northren...." "Yeah I hope they kill that son of a-" The Knight quickly turned the corner to get away from the idle gossip. Several of the city goers knew who she was. Even though when she wasn't at the keep it was because Prince Anduin was traveling....Still it would be nice to travel as a normal person on her off days....not as his majesty's royal knight. Sighing because people would try to get information from her. Information she didn't know, or even care to know. The war against the Lich King wasn't any of her business. All she cared about was the Prince's safety and with the war up north that kept danger levels down from him.

Heading to the cathedral she sat just outside at the fountain. Remembering as a child hearing her brothers speak of Prince Arthas's coronation as a paladin. Having had her own as a knight not that long ago. What one would do to protect his people, to protect what was precious to him.

Sighing, the young knight placed her hands on either side of her as she looked to the sky. Silently asking the light for guidance in the years to come. She didn't know what fate had in store for her or for his majesty.

Leaping onto the dock Kyannah started her journy into stormwind. So many blues, golds, and giant landmarks graced this land. She had never been to a city outside of her own, and she new she was in for a surprise. She openly gaped at a dwarf as she passed...a REAL DWARF! She had thought they were only myth. Not sure of where to go at first she wandered around the city passing guards left and right.

Suddenly her stomach started to growl almost as viciously as she did!
"hmmm I suppose some lunch is in order..." But where ever would she actually find food? A hungry kitty was not a pleasant one...

Senzyri smiled as she rode into the Alliance capitol. As a seasoned adventurer she was used to the sights, Stormwind had become her home-away-from-home when she wasn't at the crash site of the Exodar. She proudly wore her bow on her back, the one she had taken from the cache of Illidan himself after aiding in his fall at the Black Temple. Her mail clinked against her skin as she rode into the city, her wolf running along beside her.

Coming into the main square of the Trade District, she hopped off her horse, her own hooves making a little clop on the cobblestone. Even though she was a draenei, she had always preferred horses over her native elekks for their nimbleness. She scratched the neck of her wolf Arktos, chuckling to herself as she towered over many of the other visitors of the city. She hadn't been here in a while, but she had decided it was time for a short respite after spending the past few months in the snows of Northrend.

Anduin sighed heavily as his lessons were finally over. Everyday it's the same thing. Wake up, train, study, train, and then sleep. Rinse and repeat every single day. Granted there is trouble up in Northrend...so he understood it was needed. He was to be the future king of Stormwind afterall.

Running his hand through his hair he grimmaced. Where was Eveline? She was always out to greet him after his lessons. As his knight, he heavily relied on her.

Grabbing his staff he stalked out of the keep heading out to find her. Knowing Eveline, there was only one place she would be.

Maraad slammed his fist down on the gilded map on the table.

"Thees is unacceptable! You bring me back from thee ship in Icecrown just to tell me I am to return?!"

Realizing his actions, he set his Naaru hammer down on the ground against the table, relaxing his fist and refocusing, the symbol of his Gift glowing just in front of his forehead. He stroked one of his facial tendrils, thinking about his words before saying them.

"My keeng, I do understand your tenacity. But I feel we must attack the citadel before we can allow zee Lich Keeng to advance his Scourge."

He fell silent and looked at King Varian Wrynn with a grave expression.

There was always some nonsense going on in the war room. The warm day of what the humans call summer was no different. The draenei brothers were called in by the King of Stormwind. The was didn't seem endless but the end seemed so far from their reach.

Taj turned to his brother and listened as he spoke to the King. Analyzing everything that was said and only speaking when he felt he absolutely needed. These war meeting felt more like bickering children. Much like himself and Mar had as younglings.

The paladin brothers were contently called in from war to attend these meetings. This war was being dragged out from his point of view. Then again everyone in the war effort could feel the long length of the war and it's never ending mess.

Looking side to side Kyannah wasn't sure where to head. Should she go left, right, or even straight? She didn't have time for this! A nice meal was in order, and she wanted it now!

Kyannah strolled into a district covered in golden yellow. "now just where..." spotting a young girl sitting at a fountain she smiled excitedly.

"Excuse me! You there, young girl! Do you think you could help me?" Approaching the girl with a big smile kyannah hoped she would finally get some sort of direction in this crazy city.

Anduin walked through the keep, his gait stiff. He had heard the Icegrown generals talking to his father as he passed. The war with the Lich King was only getting worse and everyone knew it. It was time they decided to be proactive about this situation...but he could never tell his father that. He was afterall only a mere prince training to oneday be as great as his father.

He sighed again. He was going to be late for his next lesson unless he found Eveline soon. She needed to know the Icecrown situation as well.

"she had better be at that fountain" anduin whispered

Senzyri walked out of a short building, her armor newly repaired and gleaming against her light blue skin. She prided herself in her armor: she had won it valiantly in her trials in Naxxramas and Ulduar in the north. She knew how to use her bow and how to command her wolf well. Glancing around the square, she took everything in and made various observations about her surroundings. Arktos nudged her thigh and brought her back to reality.

Deciding that she might as well spend the day here, she mounted her horse and set off for the cathedral to visit the priests to brush up on her first aid skill.

Evieline's head snapped up as she heard the voice call towards her. After all she was the only one sitting at the fountain. Turning her head towards the night elf woman she quickly figured she was one of the new arrivals. She had seen many of the heroes and adventures that arrived freshly from the other alliance territories. Mostly from her time guarding Anduin in the keep when he was with his father giving missions and quests or even guidance to these people.

With a small smile and a friendly wave she stood up to greet the woman. "How may I help." She asked turning towards the woman. Walking to close the gap between them. Evie was use to helping around Stormwind on her off days. Acting like any other guard in the city even if to the civilians that didn't know her.

"Thank god" Kyannah thought. She was finally going to get some much needed help.
"I am Kyannah, the guardian of cenarius from Darnassus. Trained in the ways of duidism. It's my first time here actually....do you think you could help me find an inn? I'm completely starved! I even considered gnawing off my own arm I'm so ravenous!" Kyannah giggled lightly at her joke, even though she really could go for some bear or feral lion. But a nice salad of nuts and fruits would suffice.
