The lake was one place where the faerie could often be found, and he was rather content if not a bit sad as he stared at the surface of the lake. Marosa reached up and brushed a lock of hair from his cheek, twisting it around his finger as he thought absentmindedly.
He hadn't remembered much about his visit to the Feylands, and that bugged him. Something else also bugged him, at the very back of his mind... and he just couldn't quite place it. It felt like he was forgetting something, but... it eluded his mind at every turn, and he ended up giving up and letting out an annoyed sigh. Flopping back against the ground, he stared up at the sky as he raised his hand and watched his fingers move against the clouds.
It was likely that the faerie was bored.

First, check to see if the ex was at the lake-- Roch stared at the lake for a long, long moment, then mentally said screw it and headed forward anyway, his fishing pole hanging over his shoulder. He was goin' fishin! Why? Because it seemed like a good idea, especially since it didn't take much work and he'd brought along a playboil magazine to read-- What, wasn't that a part of fishing? He was trying to be AUTHENTIC. That, and he couldn't bring beer, so the playboil would have to do. He stopped, seeing a familiar back, and broke into a grin, crossing over to the other male. "Marosa! Hey, man!" he said. "You here t'fish, too?" Not... that he knew how to fix fish even if he caught it, or anything... but Terra might!

Marosa broke into a grin as he sat up, giving a wave to Roch. "Oi'm jes lounging, really." The faerie responded, glancing to the playboil magazine with a raised eyebrow. Why the Jack did he have that? What a weird thing to bring fishing.
"Ye come here often? Oi jes got back from the Feylands, meself." Staring at Roch, Marosa smiled a wee bit as he thought of the dream he'd had. White Kingdom, was it?
"Bychance have ye had any dreams lately?"

"Lately?" he repeated. "Yeah, a couple, but I figure you're lookin' for one in particular?" he asked, dropping down next to the other boil-- "I need a worm or somethin' right?" he said. "I ain't exactly sure how this works--what dream are y'askin' about?" he asked, starting to pick up rocks looking for bugs.

"White Kingdom ring any bells?" Marosa asked, staring at the other boil curiously as he glanced back out over the water. In the dream he'd talked to another version of himself - who knew if it was real - but the more people he talked to, the more he came to realize that maybe everyone had the same dream.
And it still bugged him that his other self blatantly told him that he'd been lied to.
"Oi... dinnae know how to fish," The faerie admitted, rolling his shoulders back as he glanced back to Roch, unable to keep the grin from spreading. He looked silly when he was like that, but it was cheering the faerie up.

"Oh!" Roch said, having found some sort of bug with pincers. He turned, holding the bug but forgetting about it--until it used its pincers. "Sonovawitch," he yelped, shaking his hand to try and get it off. Finally it fell off and scuttled away. "The white kingdom dream! The other me was a bit of a d**k," he said cheerfully. "Yeah, I remember that!" Then he frowned. "Look, that sortta thing--the shared dreams? It happens once in a while around here. Kinda creepy but nothin' t'panic about."

"Are ye sure?" Marosa asked, rubbing the back of his head. "The other me seemed... happier." Of course, the other him had also gotten together with his best friend, while in not-dreamland things were... awkward between them. He'd jacked things up royally with Sharra and his ghoulfriend, and hadn't felt--
Wait. Was that what he'd forgotten? Had he really forgotten Sharra? Stunned into silence, Marosa leaned back and bit his lower lip, a foreboding feeling sinking in his gut. Something didn't add up every time he went to the Feylands.

Roch looked at the other boil, then, completely forgetting that Marosa had this little issue--hugged him with one arm, hauling him up close in a bro hug. Then he blinked, something changing in his brain, and tried to tug the other boil into his lap. "Heeyyy," he said, touching Marosa's face. "Y'can be happy here, too, y'know?" he said.

"Roch," Marosa spoke, his cheeks coloring as he was effectively pulled into the other's lap. "Don't ye have a ghoulfriend?" The last thing he wanted to do was come between another couple.
And he was also worried what Roch would do after touching him, especially after he remembered kissing Sharra. Jack damn it.Ice Queen I can't breeeeeeeeathe I'm laughing so hard

"She dumped me," he said, reaching up and pushing Marosa's hair out of his face. "I'm single as a jackin' one hit wonder," he said cheerfully. "Y'wanna go on a date?" he asked, getting excited. "Hey, there's a cake show in town! We could go eat cakes! Y'will go with me, right?" he asked in a husky, begging tone, looking at the other boil intently. "Please?" You could almost hear the song "I can show you the woooorrrllld" in the background--but... seriously, cake show??

A ... cake show?Marosa stared at Roch with a mixed expression, silent for a long moment.
"Roch," The faerie began slowly, attempting to sit up as his wings fluttered. "Ye do realize that touchin' me means yer attracted to me, aye?" He was worried - always worried - that someone would get the wrong impression when he tried to gently turn someone down, but if Roch really begged and persisted, Marosa would have no choice but to go along.
He considered Roch a friend, especially after Roch showed him just how much of a jacking git he'd been.

Roch thought about it for a moment. "That does sortta explain things," he said finally. "Cuz I usually go for ghouls. But hell, long as I don't try t'flip your skirt--er, kilt up, why not?" he decided cheerfully. "C'mon, Marosa, play with meeee," he said, hugging the other boil. "Cakes! You! All the jackin' good in the world! With cupcakes, too! You like cupcakes, right?" It would be horrible if he didn't like cupcakes. SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE.

Sadly, Marosa had to admit that he did have a sweet tooth, and loved anything that had a sweet flavor.
"Aye, oi like cupcakes," The faerie stated in a resigned fashion, pursing his lips. "Are ye sure ye want a date?" He wasn't sure about the whole 'date' thing, but it might help cheer them both up. "A non-serious date, aye?"
It might also help relieve Sharra if he went on a date with another boil. Just might. Two birds with one stone, help Roch, and help Sharra.
Win-win, right?

"Absolutely!" Roch said--because he'd give Marosa whatever he wanted right now--plus, seriously, cupcakes! "Up an' at'em," he said, poking Marosa to stand up. "I was set on fish, but cupcakes is cupcakes!" Plus, a cake show reminded him of Amphi before this new cheap and easy love moment. He hopped to his feet when he got the chance, hid the fishing pole in the bushes, and grabbed Marosa's hand, tugging him towards town. Then, after a moment of walking, tried to tug the shorter boil into his side, so he could drape his arm over his shoulders. "First thing first," he told him seriously. "Watch out for the big ghouls--if they look like they got their own zipcode, you're gonna have a b***h of a time gettin' t'the samples."

"Aye, aye," Replied the fey as he stood and brushed himself off, tilting his head at Roch in a curious manner. It never ceased to amaze him no matter who touched him; everyone acted differently and he still wasn't quite sure what to expect.
He didn't think he'd ever get used to it.
Marosa didn't mind being led, finding the whole scene amusing - he just hoped Roch would come to his senses later. He didn't mind the company in the meantime.
"... zipcode? Eh?" The faerie boil was completely lost, looking at Roch like he was speaking a different language altogether.
