Another boring trip to town for Miles' work purposes. Mitja might be super into rocks and boulders and earth but she could not stand hearing all about it in a more school like manner was such a pain. She actually started to dislike rocks with they way Miles wanted to take them apart. So she was pleasantly surprised when MIles had given her some money to head on over to Catch Em All. It would be her first time going to it but Miles had heard about it last time he came to town and thought maybe it would be good for her to go to a place where other pokemon and pokechildren hung out.
Looking at the entrance to the place she was rather impressed. It looked pretty busy right now and she could hear music thumping inside. But she always wanted to try playing some video games so she would be glad to go in. She bought a pass in and hurried up stairs to the look at all the video game arcades. She had no idea where she should even start but it was going to be a fun day. She was dressed as a boy as normal with her hair all messed up and her clothes were baggy and covered most of her body.

Phee....or Rysk as she was going by today...was tromping along enjoying the thudding her new boots made on the ground an almost gleeful look on her face at the muted thuds on the ground. It was a small thing to be amused over, but it was happening and there was no changing that.
Her clothing had evolved over the last few weeks of wandering around and getting an eyeful of people and their fashion choices. Her own veered towards the rough and tumble. The torn clothes, spikes, and dark colors. Once dressed she looked like a boy all things and this wasn't a bad thing to her. Though if it was supposed to be, she wouldn't have known any better.
Today she was traveling around just because. She was bored, bored, bored b.o.r.e.d., BORED.
It sounded like her thumps were echoing her thoughts, and rhythmic pace set that she listened to with that same odd little smile. It was when she happened to pause and look up that she heard another odd thumping and decided to investigate. There was so much she was still learning about here on land!
She was stopped and told she needed a pass, and with luck she had money on her that she'd located in her wanderings and used it to get one and in she went, looking around with wide eyes at everything. "What a weird place..."
It was bright, and noisy...and full of strange sounds and things but she continued to wander in deeper not paying attention to where she was going and crashed heavily into someone. "Whoops..." she didn't sound apologetic, but she was just startled.

Mitja felt the heavy thud of someone bumping into her. She felt a bit of anger and her body tensed but at least she did not start the flow of venom just yet as she turned to look at her 'attacker'. "Watch where your going." She said flatly. The fact that the other did not apologize brought back the equally un apologetic response from the venopede. She was jsut glad she was not in the middle of the game before she was jarred. Her buggy eyes looked over the other before rolling and she moved over to look at one of the arcade systems.

Phee was stunned by the tone of the other person's voice and blinked a moment, sounding more than a little confused. "Oh...I'm sorry really. I just...it's so shiny in here..." too much sensory over load for her really.
Seeing the other moving back towards a game, Phee moved closer to look over the Venipede's shoulder curiously. "Ohh...what's this? I've never seen anything like it..." Phee....really had no concept of personal space....

Mitja sighed hearing the more confused sound voice and the apology she felt a bit like a punk. She gave a slight nod and started to apologize with a "I am sorry as..." when she felt the other press in close to her. The other drawing close caused her to stop her apology. She turned to look at the face so close to her's "Have you not been in an arcade before?" She tried to sound cool and confident though she really had only been here once before and that was without money for the games.
She gave a bit of a smirk, "Well this is a video game. You put coins in and you can play a game. This one is a fighting game. There are racing ones and dancing ones and shooting ones. Do you want to play one with me?"

"Arcade? Is that what this place is?" The child blinked in curiosity at Mitja, a wide eyed look of wonder as she looked around again. She stepped back after a moment a sheepish smile given. "Sorry!" she sounded sheepish too.
"Oh I have some money! Could we really play one? Though I don't know how any of it works...teach me?" there was a hopeful smile to the other child. "I'm Phee it's nice to meet you!" Oh yes cheerful as ever despite wishing other wise.

Mitja gives a bit of a nod, "Yes indeed up here is an arcade." He tilted her head watching as the other looked around. She stood up a bit more and her smirk grew, "You don't need to be sorry. I wont want to play with you if you keep saying your sorry if you mess up in the game. They are suppose to be fun and it is no fun if your saying sorry all the time." she said still trying to seem cool and calm. Seeing the other a bit nervous then so hopefully made her relax more. It seemed like Mitja was thought of as the dominate one so she was already looking cool and set.
"Mitja's the name. And sure it is nice to meet you as well as sure you can play with me. I am not that good at most of these. What type of game would you like to try?"

“Oh alright….” A sheepish smile again but no more apologies at least so there was that much anyhow. “Oh I’ll probably mess up since I don’t know what I’m doing but I know I can’t learn how to play without trying.” At least she knew that much in the end.
Phee did see Mitja as the more dominate one of them at the moment, this was all still so new to Phee, and she hadn’t quite learned the same attitude Mitja had, much to her utter dismay. Still, she looked around the various games, and randomly pointed to one with bright lights and arrows and music. “That one!”

Mitja turned to look the direction that Phee was point. She gave a tsk and a bit of a sigh. Of course it would be the dancing game. She had seen two Celfaires playing it earlier. She had almost zero rhythm but she nods, "Sure we can do that one." she strode over to the game and got up standing in the middle of all the arrows. "This one the arrows at our feet will light up and we have to step on them with the arrows hit the bar at the top. We can do it on beginner first. If you like." She hoped that the other would agree to the beginner level.

Phee could hear the tsk and sigh and gathered the other wasn't fond of the game. It was awfully nice of the other to agree to play it with her anyhow though! "Thanks!" Phee followed behind and listened to the explanation. "I think beginner will be for the best...I don't even know if I'll manage but it sounds like it could be fun!" She beamed at the other and fished out some money. "Oh! I'm being rude, I'm Phee, it's nice to meet you!" her usual bubbly self was showing.

Mitja nods and puts her coins into the game and waited for Phee to do the same. Once the money was in she hit two player and beginner mode. "I am sure I wont be the best either. But as long as we have fun. I wont laugh if you mess up or anything. And if we do well we can do three songs. At least that is what I have seen before." She laughed, "You can pick first and I will pick second."
She shook her head, "Oh your not being rude you already introduced yourself to me Phee. But it is good to meet you as well. It could be fun having a game partner. Normally I play by myself." she waited for the song to be picked.

(Whoops...go me making her introduce herself twice. lol ) "I'm sure it will be fun." she gave a bright smile to the other and got her money into the machine and scrolled through the songs, picking one that seemed pretty easy but sounded like fun. "I won't laugh either." she gave a smile then. Suddenly the music started and Phee froze...what did she do!? She looked to Mitja and saw what she was doing, and tried to do the same, though she kept getting tangled in her own feet. This was hard!

Mitja was not sure how fun this game would be. She could fight like a champ but when it came to dancing Mitja had no sense of rhythm. She prayed that it would be an easy song that Phee picked. "Good neither of us will laugh." She took a breath and tried to vow that she would at least last longer than Phee.
She tried to calm her breathing as the song started and was thankful that at least right away it did not seem like too hard a song. "Hit the arrows with your feet when they hit the top line!" she said though it did not take too long for her to be in the red. "Oh no....if we don't get better with it. We are going to die and we wont get to pick a second song." she said. "Or we will need more coins!" The bad comments and the red lights were starting to bother Mitja. It was so scary seeing her life click lower and lower. She felt venom tip her horns as she kept going.

Phee had of course picked an easy one, though some of the harder ones had sounded pretty neat to her but this one looked the easiest and sounded the slowest. She hoped they'd do good! She listened to what she was told and started to stomp on the arrows, watching the screen intently, and redoubling her efforts, watching as the lines began to slowly creep from the red, and into colors. "OH! I'm doing it!" how surprised she sounded, and utterly pleased for that matter! There was a slip of her feet and she tripped over them, almost falling off the platform a surprised yelp given as she grabbed the bar behind her for balance and went back to it trying to make it through the end of the song. "You can do it!" she cheered on the other.

Mitja felt her heart racing a bit in worry as the song started and the arrows came up. She missed the first several and already she was in the red near the start and she was almost distracted as she heard the excited voice. She smiled actually glad to hear the other girl so happy. She found herself starting to hit the arrows too and her health bar started to heal.
When she herd the cry Mitja stopped dancing and turned to try and take ahold of Phee even as she saw the other grab onto the bar. She had her hand on Phee's waist and as the other started to dance again and requested she keep trying she turned to try and start up again but she dropped too far and her character died.
She sighed a bit but smiled looking over to Phee, "Looks like it is all you Phee. You can beat the song!"
