All demons have a True Name, but Zayde can't be bothered with remembering hers - her theory is that if she doesn't know it, then the likelihood of anyone else finding it out is about nil.

Abilities : Zayde's primary power is the ability to steal energy from other creatures and people and store it in her jewels, from where she can utilize the energy into different boosts and abilities - the effect varies from jewel to jewel. The longer a jewel has been in the possession of sentient creatures, the more valued it has been throughout its life, the more powerful it is.
She can steal energy from both the living and those she's killed, but is able to take more energy from the deceased. She can also siphon energy passively, but only when the greed of someone in her vicinity reaches a near fever pitch; however, this is pretty rare to happen and can't be considered a reliable source of energy.
Occupation : Mercenary, generally specializing in thievery but occasionally dipping into assasination. Currently travelling Makai and Midgard to sate her curiousity about the lands and people outside of Niflheim.
Favored Weapon/Item: Zayde loves alllll her treasures! Gold, rubies, silver, opals... all of that good stuff.
But her overall favoured item would be her Bag of Things; a magic belt bag created long ago by a Spiritus in payment for her clan's services. It was the prized object of the clan elders, something to show their status - now that the rest of the clan is gone, it's fallen into Zayde's hands. It is massively useful, being able to contain a limitless amount of items (well, there probably is a limit, but no-one in the clan knew what it is, so now it's limitless), as long as they can get into the actual bag. The problem is that any flesh, like, say, fingers or hands or arms, entering into the bag will not come back out. On the other hand, they won't be in the bag either, so it's pretty much anyone's guess where the no longer attached limbs go. Items are retrieved from the bag by turning it on its head, shaking really hard and hoping the item you want is first in queue. Hint: it rarely is. Zayde tends to keep most of the stuff she'll need in her daily life in other places and only bothering to try and retrieve items from the Bag of Things in safe locations. Still, it is very useful for a traveller and you'd be amazed how many things can fit through the opening with a bit of willpower.

Fashion : Zayde's fashion looks to be part pirate, part adventurer. The main colours are generally brown and black (often leather), supplemented by bolder accent colours and intricate jewelry. She always wears a lot of jewels, as they are a part of the main source of her powers, as well as thigh-high leather boots with high heels, low-waisted pants, fingerless gloves and a belt containing mulitple small pouches and bags (including the Bag of Things) slung low on her hips. Generally she doesn't wear headwear of any sort.

Extra : Little demon horns on her head, pointed ears, demon tail. Black nails, on both hands and feet. Sharp teeth.

Personality : Zayde enjoys things. A lot - in fact she probably leans more towards the 'obsession' part of the spectrum of enjoyment. Precious metals, gemstones, magic items; you name it, Zayde adores it. Except fine art, which generally interests her less than squat. Although what it could sell for in gold, well, that she's definitely interested in...
She hoards her treasures, keeping them with her as much as possible or otherwise finding safe spots to hide them in. And then obsessively worry about whether or not those spots are actually safe.
To her, everything has a price and she's unlikely to help anyone without a promise of payment: if not in outright gold or other valuables, then in a future favour. This isn't so much a lack of kindness as it is practicality and her demon heritage. This is just how mercenary greed demons roll, y'know.
Zayde also has trust issues. Tons of trust issues; it's inherent to the mercenary lifestyle her clan led. Trust no-one besides yourself and the clan - and don't trust the clan too much, because at the end of the day, loyalty amongst demons will always be to number one - themselves. Selling out your fellow clan-member was frowned upon, but for the right amount of gold, well. Every demon has their price.
Because of this, Zayde has trouble with physical intimacy. Sure, there are people she finds attractive and sure, in theory it could be nice to bang them, but in reality? She just doesn't trust anyone enough to let them get that close. To her, physical intimacy means a letting go of inhibitions and that is a big no-no in the survival handbook.
And friends, well. Commitment was never really her thing - unless it's commitment to stealing that nice necklace she saw yesterday. Friends represent another possible safety hazard, in that you're bound to trip up sooner or later when spending too much time with the same people. Hanging out with strangers and then ditching them the next day for new ones, that's the way to go!
Despite that, she manages to cover it up well enough in her day-to-day interactions: Zayde loves company - the more exuberant and vibrant, the better. There's a drunken revelry? Zayde is so there, if for nothing else than to egg the others on and encourage them to stupid stunts. She might drink, but never more than she can handle; the avarice demon is amazing at nursing her drinks and acting drunker than she is. Amazing. It helps that her demon physiology generally dampens intoxicating effects quite a lot - it'd take a great deal to get her actually drunk.
Strengths : Adaptive, cunning, personable
Weaknesses : Distrusting, greedy, self-centered
History: Zayde comes from a small clan of avarice demons who specialized in mercenary work; all sorts of mercenary work. Most of the clan chose a nomadic lifestyle, moving from job to job and often separating from the main clan into smaller groups. Around when Zayde was in her late teens, most of the clan was hunted down and killed - she's not entirely sure what exactly happened, but figures it's pretty clear that they pissed off someone with more power than them. She laid low for a while, taking smaller jobs here and there, until she could afford to sign up with a caravan heading for the other side of the Riftwood. Any other side of the Riftwood.
Plots: uhhh TONS OF STUFF like, all the stuff. <3333 I really want to see where RP takes Zayde, how other characters will influence her and her future! O3O I WANT TO RP WITH PEOPLE
A few more specific things;
I'd love for her to be involved with tons of RP events! Going hunting for Riftborn to kill for energy, epic quests for powerful jewels, all those good things. <333
She's going to acquire a pair of curved, bejeweled daggers that are purrrfect for storing energy and fancy effects AKA: battle skills level-up!
Maybe joining a faction? Someone would probably have to instigate this, I imagine.

Some stuff about Avarice Demons:
Generally known as 'Greed Demons' to all and sundry; it's a bit of a recurring joke in the lower demon hierarchies that they fancied up their name in order to sound more sophisticated and powerful, although they're considered quite low on the totem pole.
All avarice demons are born with a fixed greed in them - generally centered on precious metals and stones, but occasionally on something else, often physical objects (although in one very, very remarkable case, it was centered on the reaching of spiritual enlightenment. Yeah, you heard me). It works much like any obsession would and is known amongst their own as 'the Wanting'; every avarice demon works to internalise it for some degree of normality. For some however, the strain of greed is too great and it is not entirely uncommon for children to go insane from it before they reach majority, or for adults to waste away from their all-consuming Want that they are unable to contain.
Avarice demons takes debts very seriously and will go to great lengths not to owe any to others - a big enough debt can be cashed in for pretty much anything; all your gold, the life of your firstborn... all those nasty things that you really don't want to part with. Or, heaven forbid, the creditor might ask you to do a job for free. Ugh.
A debt is always measured out very carefully in terms of size. To fail to do so will give the other party free reign and no-one wants that.
