 Yes, this is in fact a lake. This lake just so happens to appear to take up all of the ground around it. However, people can walk on the water of the lake to a certain point. Watch your step, don't fall in! Or go for a nice swim...

Just a guy with a life. ⊱Troy walked to the edge of the lake, and looked at the water. Supposedly, you could walk on the water in this lake. He had never tried it, but thought it was probably true. I mean, why lie about it? He took a step into the water, then another, and then one more. He was actually standing on water.
"Cool..." He said, walking farther out. He stopped at a tree that was sitting in the water, in fear of going too far and falling off. The magic had to run out somewhere, although it it didn't then Troy wasn't going to find out...⊰

Yuuki Kuran A small red fox came bounding across the top of the water. She didn't even take the time to stop and think, she kept running, half expecting her feet to fall right through and cause her to get soaking wet. But surprisingly she could run across the top of the lake, like dry land. This fact surprised her, and after realising what was happening she stopped suddenly and looked down. She kept pawing at the water, completely in awe of how it was holding her up. With all her attention focussed in the one place, she was completely oblivious to the fact she was not alone.

✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓥⓘⓝⓒⓔⓝⓣ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ Vincent trudged happily across the field where the Flooded Lake was. He was absolutely dying to find out who had sent him that strange text message. Vince held Aspen's hand the entire way there. He made sure that he wasn't pulling her along or anything that could hurt her. Aspen was his most precious asset.
When they arrived at the Flooded Lake, Vincent gasped. It was an amazing sight to behold. The water looked as if you could walk on it. However, Vincent knew that that couldn't be possible, or could it?
At the base of the tree in the middle of the lake, there stood a blonde haired boy with curious, amber eyes. Vincent had an idea that this must have been the boy who had sent him the text message, urging him to come here.
Vincent looked back at Aspen and smiled. "So, want to put the myth to the test on whether or not you can walk on this water?" He smiled a crooked smile before putting his foot onto the water's smooth surface. Surprisingly, the water held Vince.
Vincent journeyed across the water to where the boy was sitting. His curiosity had taken over. "Were you the person who called me out here to talk to me?" Vincent decided to be straightforward and honest with the boy. If he wasn't the boy who sent that text message, then it wasn't him. Vince would still talk to the boy anyway.✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓕⓐⓛⓛⓞⓝ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ "There's no sense crying over every mistake.

 Aspen Bell
Aspen walked in silence alongside Vincent, who was holding her hand gently. She was still wondering who this person was, of course, who had texted Vincent. It didn't really alarm her, just made her curious as to figuring out who it was. Upon total view of the Flooded Lake, Aspen blinked those huge brown eyes at it, completely dumbfounded. She had definetely had not been in the mental mind set to see this. It was beyond her to articulate a reason as to why the water enveloped everything around it, making it appear endless. She was awestruck for a moment or two before, looking further along the water to find a blonde boy standing there all alone. That must be him, she thought.
She shook free of her thoughts when Vincen'ts voice rang through her head, asking if they should prove whether or not the rumors were true about the lake. It was true, she found herself quite eager to test the water, just to see if it could hold her up like the stories she had heard said. She gave a half-hearted shrug, appearing as if she could care less, but was still slightly worried over the idea of falling in. But as she took a tentative step forward, expecting her foot to dip into the waters surface, it didn't instead feeling like solid ground. "Wow thats unbelieveable," she whispered to herself, raising a brow at their illogical discovery.
She let Vincent venture away from her, leaving her alone as she crouched down to inspect the water. She poked at it, still looking for some sort of reaction from it, but there was still no rippling in the water. Out of the corner of her, she spied a small red fox bounding across the water. She watched as it came to a stop, poking and prying at the water, just as she was. Much to her amusement, it was acting just like her. She observed it from afar, not wanting to scare the animal in fear it might run away from her presence.

Yuuki Kuran Her ear's twitched at the sound of footsteps and voice's near by. The little fox paused momentarily from pawing at the water and lifted her head to investigate. She assumed there had only been two, since she had only heard two voice's, but after looking around she found there was in fact three other's. Two boy's who were standing over by some trees, and a girl who seemed just as puzzled by the magical phenomenon that was the lake as she was. At least that's what Yuuki assumed, as she was kneeling down and had been poking the water with her finger. Only now her attention was drawn away from the water, towards something else. Yuuki didn't register that the girl was actually looking at her, and turned her head to follow the girl's gaze behind her, but found nothing of interest. The fox moved her shoulder's in a way that might resemble shrugging, and trotted over to the girl. She slowed to a stop a few feet away and sat down. One ear was bent forward, while the other stood straight up and her head was slightly cocked to one side. Even though the girl was kneeling, she was still significantly bigger then what Yuuki was, and she had to tilt her head up ever so slightly to look at her face.

Just a guy with a life. ⊱Troy looked up at Vincent, and took a moment to register what he was asking. Troy had not sent any text messages, and had no idea who this was, except that he was a teacher. However, the nametag on Vincent's shirt would be very helpful in this situation...
Troy got up and smiled a crooked little smile. "Yes, I sent you that text message to bring you here." He said, and laughed an evil laugh. He ran over to Aspen, grabbing her arm. "I shall now steal your... wife? Assistant? Future Wife? How should I know?" He said, laughing again. "Unless, of course, you would do me a favor..." He said, raising a finger to his lip. ⊰ Dumpling-San And now it's my turn to make something up, that being the nametag XD x-Alitacia Oh, sorry, I didn't see your post sweatdrop

She's my assistant who's also my girlfriend, so I'd cut the crap now unless you want to get on my bad side." Vincent sighed and looked the young boy in the eye. He assumed that he was a student at the academy. Maybe he was in his class. Vince desperately tried to remember the list of students who would be in his class when he transferred in, but he could only remember Chrome.
Vincent's attention was captured for a moment by a red-haired fox. It looked so majestic as it ran across the water. Animal-lover Vince was mesmerized for a few moments before turning back to face the young boy who now had Aspen.
"I'm sorry, I don't take favors unless I know the guy's name. If I knew your name, I'd be willing to do you a favor." Vincent's tone was steady and cunning as he spoke. He sneered and put one of his hands on his hips. "So, what will it be?' I haven't got all day."✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓕⓐⓛⓛⓞⓝ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷"There's no sense crying over every mistake.

The girl whom earlier he hadn't recognized had on an orange sweater... That's it, she was that one acrobat. He had wandered past the people making her costume. They had talked about how pretty she was. He smirked at the memory.
"Ah, then you're out of luck, Mr. V. I don't think you'll be learning the name of the amazing Troy. Except that you just did. Therefore, you are lucky for my generosity!" He said, now releasing Aspen to hold his hands up. "However, now that I have told you my name, you're going to do me a favor." He said, walking over to Vincent and poking his forehead.⊰ Dumpling-San Yes, and I am jealous that I don't have a magical name tag T^T

The answer was found when Vincent looked down shyly at his feet. He then realized that he had put his name tag on by habit.
Vincent looked up again when Troy continued to talk about the favor that Vincent owed him. His golden eyes focused on Aspen. He didn't want her to get hurt. Vincent sighed and looked at the ground again. "What's my mission Troy?"✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓕⓐⓛⓛⓞⓝ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷"There's no sense crying over every mistake.

Then, you'll need to do 10 jumping jacks, 3 sit-ups, and 20 push-ups. If you can't do it, then you'll owe me forever." He said, pointing around the lake.
He laughed, then clapped his hands together. "Chop chop, lover-boy. Or should I say man? Either way, I won't accept any detentions from you. I already have one scheduled for later." He said, shrugging. He had a habit of not paying attention in class if he wasn't interested, and that resulted in detention. He sat down on the water next to Aspen.⊰ Dumpling-San They can have a break after this post. Or after your next post, if you want to get started on the task.

Aspen Bell
Aspen saw the little fox glance behind itself as if it were looking for something. Upon finding nothing, it trotted over to where she was bent over, coming to sit a few feet away from her. She remained silent, allowing the animal to check her out, probably to see if she was a threat or not, and then smiled at the fox. But before she could reach her hand toward the creature, the blonde boy came running over to her and clutched her by her arm. She let out a startled gasp, not expecting his sudden interest in her, and glared at him as she was used as bargain between him and Vincent.
"Hey, let go of me! I'm not some rag doll to be tossed around," she started to argue with him before Vincent came over too and took her other arm, yanking her over to him. She stood helplessly between them both, a somewhat bitter expression on her face as if to say what-the-heck-do-you-guys-think-your-doing, but she didn't say anything. They were too busy bickering back and forth to even allow her to add a word in. The boy eventually dropped his hand away from her arm and she shifted away from them both, crossing her arms over her chest. He introduced himself as Troy to them as he held his hands up innocently as if in apology. Vincent, apparently was willing to do him a favor, in return for his name. Troy took advantage of the opportunity and ordered Vince to run ten laps around the water, do ten jumping jacks, a couple of sit-ups, and a whopping twenty push-ups. "Geesh that's asking a lot considering you only said your name," she huffed, but it was barely audible to the others since she spoke in a soft tone under her breath. She didn't expect Vincent to back down, though, so she just flopped back down on the water, propping her chin in her hands.

"By the way, I don't think we've been properly introduced. Then again, if you're working with Mr. Vincent, then I bet I'll be hearing your name quite soon." He said with a smile.
He poked the water under him, his finger getting slightly wet. He looked at the fox which was next to him. He hadn't noticed it earlier... how long had it been here. He thought about petting it, but foxes could be dangerous... He'd heard that they bite.⊰

However, a moment later Vincent started doing his laps around the lake. When he was finished with those, Vince moved on to push-ups. Then, Vincent moved on to his sit-ups and his jumping jacks.
Vince sashayed over to Troy. "What now, princess?" Vincent sneered at Troy. It wasn't at all a favor, but all of the stuff he was expected to was was easy.
Vincent walked over to Aspen. "Are you okay? I'm sorry for being immature by pulling on you. I was getting overprotective really."✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓕⓐⓛⓛⓞⓝ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷"There's no sense crying over every mistake.
