Vandal Savage
Location: His hidden base within the Great Sphinx of Giza, in Egypt
Status: Planning Facing a wall covered in monitors that showed points of interest all over the world, Vandal Savage stood, hands clasped behind him. He stood there, gazing upon the sights, all of which he remembered when they first were erected, created as monuments of what man could accomplish, dwarfing all others, until the next was built. A few of them, he even had a hand in building. Although he was partly thinking in retrospect, most of his energies were directed towards the future. A self-satisfied smirk emerged along his face. He knew the time to act was soon. He had the assets. He had the ability. He had the knowledge. Most importantly, he had the confidence. "All of this," he said to no one in particular, even though Natalia and Julianne were with him, "Will be conquered."

 LOCATION: Hidden base within the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt
STATUS: Watching the monitors with Vandal...................Natalia had made herself comfortable within the room, choosing to relax in a nearby chair rather than stand in front of the monitors. Leaning gently across a large pillow and resting her arm on the side of the chair, her legs gently crossed in front of her by the ankles. Two black strap scandals discarded on the stone floor in front of her, and her bare feet gently rubbing against the cool stone. She was dressed in a long tan colored dress that was both flattering to her figure, as well as cooling and protective from the harsh heat and sunlight waiting outside. She sat in the chair, staring at the monitors along with Vandal. Her gaze holding more interest than Vandals... mostly because she had never seen many of these “monuments”. Anything she had seen, had either been from her own country, or what she had learned about while under Penguin's care. Which... wasn't much. She was more wanted for her abilities with him. ..................Her black eyes flickered over the screens, then over to Vandal as he spoke. Her lips curled into a small smile as she pushed her long black hair off of her shoulder. ”Where would be the ideal place to start?” she asked. ”America is rather paranoid when it notices that another country is being threatened. I do not know enough about the other countries to know how well they deal with a crisis.”

Status: More planning
Julianne spoke up before Vandal did, saying as she adjusted her lean on the wall near Natalia's chair, "I know America has a much worse track record of stopping attacks on itself, than it does for stopping attacks elsewhere." There seemed to a trace of uncertainty to her voice that belied her feelings about plotting against her home country. In the end, though, she couldn't find it within her to betray Vandal Savage.
Vandal turned his head, nodding. "Quite right, Julianne. The United States is known as the world's policeman, not as a fortress." He turned to face the women and continued with, "But even America can't be everywhere at once. And that is how we strike."

LOCATION: Hidden base within the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt
STATUS: Contemplative...................Natalia smiled and adjusted herself in the chair. ”I see... and if they try to be “everywhere at once”, they will have little to no defense of their own. Seems simple enough. Do you have the resources to pull off such a large scale assault?” she asked. She knew that he had quite a long lifespan to gather what he needed, and he had more than enough experience to lead something like this. The question would really be if he had the manpower it would take to attack multiple locations. That many people willing to wage war. The weapons needed. And a scape goat... someone to take the public blame other than themselves. It would be.... interesting to see. If it were really possible to conquer the world. Especially in this day and age.

Status: Slightly annoyed at the little hole in his plan "I have ALMOST all the resources I need," Savage replied, shaking his head as his hands moved from behind his back to in front of him, crossed. He sighed, and continued. "I need the people required to pull the preliminary attacks off. Or, maybe a something."
"Something?" Julianne asked, her discomfort forgotten in favor of curiosity.

..................Natalia moved her head to the side and gave Vandal a quizzical look. Nearly mirroring the curiosity in Julianne's tone. She sat up straight in the chair and leaned forwards a bit, curious to hear what Savage was thinking as well.

Status: Julianne: Quizzical; Savage: Making a plan come together in his head "Yes," Vandal responded, a thought coming together, "And I know just the person to ask. The Upstart." Savage smiled, but it was not from joy. It was from the irony. Julianne stepped away from the wall, and moved to stand next to Natalia's chair. She looked at her and asked, "Upstart?"

..................Natalia tilted her head to the side slightly. "The Upstart?" she asked in agreement. "I don't recall such a name being mentioned while I worked with Cobblepot." she said. And with all the people that short man had on file, that was saying something.

Status: Savage: Slightly amused; Julianne: Curious
Savage chuckled lightly, replying, "I don't expect you to know who this is, Julianne. However, you, Natalia, might have heard of him, but under another name. I call him this, because although he is immortal, he's only around 600 years old." Vandal looked up slightly, and after a moment gave the actual answer. "The Head of the Demon. Ra's al Ghul."
Julianne shrugged. "Well, I'm certainly glad you didn't expect me to have heard of this Rash all Goo guy," she said, which earned a look of half-amusement, half-irritation from Savage.

STATUS: Trying to recall the file Penguin had.
..................Natalia smiled lightly and nodded her head. ”That name, I do recall hearing about.” she replied. ”Not very often, and not very much of... but I do recall a bit about the man. Cobblepot brought his file up once. The name was rather strange, and it drew my attention. He hadn't brought up much information on the man... or... he didn't have very much information on him. From what I did gather, he enjoyed his privacy... had a few run-ins with the Batman, attempted to wipe half the world's population off the map with...” she began, then paused. She pursed her lips in thought and drew her eyes to the ground. ”Hm... I can't remember what it was called. A pit of some sort...” she mused to herself. Then she waved her hand dismissively and looked back up at him.
”In any case, there was only a brief amount of very need to know information that was brought up. The rest was hidden. At the time, Cobblepot had been more interested in Ra's daughter. Talia I believe. When I inquired about the man, Cobblepot didn't give me very much of an answer. Ra's wasn't of interest to him at that time, and he doubted I would ever be encountering the man, so there was no need to discuss Ra's.”

Status: Vandal Savage: Patient; Julianne Rawne: Shocked "That pit is the source of his immortality, Natalia," Vandal said, informing her, "And he should have just what we need.""Wait," Julianne interrupted, concern and worry written all over her face, "So we're going to get help from a man that's tried to destroy half of the planet? Are you planning on finishing the job or something?" "No, not quite," Savage began calmly, "Two-thirds. Three-quarters at the most. The planet will be intact, though. I'm merely targeting the people inhabiting it." He moved to stand in between Julianne and Natalia, and placed a hand on Natalia's shoulder and an arm around Julianne. "Once that is done, we will be poised to rule over the remainder."Julianne was shaking a little, out of fear and awe. Part of her, the part that was hopelessly in love with Savage, was going to do whatever he needed her to do in order to help him. But, there was another part of her, the part that empathized with other people, that was scared. He meant to kill the majority of the human race! Still, she managed to calm herself down enough to stop shaking. By then, though, the damage was done. Vandal Savage knew she was fearful. He didn't mention it, and he didn't draw any attention to it or even give her a second glance over it. But he would remember it.

STATUS: Looking forward to meeting some new faces again.
..................Natalia smiled as Vandal put his hand on her shoulder, and moved one of her hands to place over top of his. Unlike Julianne, she didn't seem to have any hesitation with Vandal's plan. Likely because she did not grow up the same way Julianne did. Her town had outcast her, her city had outcast her, and after moving to America... she never really seen much of the "good" in others. The only people she could truly say she would have a problem with murdering... would be her family. She had never blamed them for what had happened to her, and probably never would.
..................But that problem had been dealt with as far as she knew. She had already given her request to Vandal that... if they had to die... she didn't want to know of it. That was the only thing she would possibly have a problem with... and even then she could let herself believe that they were all still happy or in a "better place".
.................."Will this Ra's have a problem with you wanting to rule what is left of the world? Will he be a problem afterwards?" Natalia asked. It would certainly be good to have someone to help them reach their goal. But it could be a headache if there was a battle for power afterwards. And... should she meet the man, she'd like to know how friendly and trusting she should be towards him.

Julianne stayed silent, fearing the if she spoke, her frightfulness would show through.
"A very good question, my dear," Savage said, turning his head to face Natalia, "He's an eco-terrorist. His issue with with not only the human race, but its creations that wear away at the planet's resources. So long as I don't allow the ushering in of a second Industrial Era, he should be just fine with us. Especially if I keep him apprised of any... ahem, unauthorized attempts to bring society past, say, the Iron Age."

STATUS: Interested in what such a world would be like.
..................Natalia smirked a bit. "Really?" Natalia asked, her tone interested. "Would that sort of 'era' be what you are looking for? I understand it would keep our allie happy, but would the lack of technology be fine with you?" she asked.
She wasn't sure that she would be... but that was only because she knew nothing other than the luxuries of planes and cars and... everything really. She could grow accustomed to it though. She had adapted rather well to life on the street, then life at the Lounge. This shouldn't be much harder.
