After his time training with the Sage, something that included battling with some Ayrala that lived on Ayr, and finally proving himself to the man he found himself being brought out to meet someone in secret. He wasn't quite sure what was going on but he was told that it was the 'last step' after the man gave him the Ysali Orb that helped transform him. While it seemed as though he had impressed the Sage there was one more person for him to impress and he couldn't help but to wonder who it was that he was meeting with. He'd asked many times over where they were going, who they were meeting with, but he'd yet to learn anything. All he knew for certain was that it was a special sort of meeting, he was even required to bring with him two of the orbs that he had gathered to this point. He had debated over it for some time before finally deciding which ones to bring. He'd taken the Ysali orb that he got from the very first dragon he'd ever encountered and 'accidently' won against and then after that he picked the Ayrala orb that he'd found while he was on an adventure with Tilawen.

"We are here." The Sage said, looking around the area before he leanded against the tree that they were standing under. It was the only one that was in the wide open field and the place that it would seem the Sage and the man they were waiting on had decided to meet at. Junjie looked around for a moment, shifting in place, trying his best to look as calm and collected as the Sage was at the moment but failed by fidgeting too much.

After a moment Junjie asked, "Will it be long?" He asked in a curious tone of voice, wanting for the secrets to end, to learn what was going on, who was coming, and why it was that they were meeting in such a manner. It felt a little on the sneaky side but he supposed that there much be a reason for it. According to the Sage they had to go about things in a more careful manner then normal because Junjie wasn't normal. It was something that bothered him a little since he'd rather be someone that could be considered normal but it was a thought that he kept to himself. He knew that it wasn't the Sage's fault, the fault of his parents, of even his own fault that there were those that didn't care for him. There was just a strange dislike of those that had mixed blood, something Junjie would never understand since all the hybrids he'd met in his time were good people.

Plopping down on the ground Junjie took the orbs out of the pack he carried, looking them over, and set to polishing them to pass the time while waiting for the mystery person to arrive. Best that he kept himself from being too idle or he'd keep talking to the Sage who seemed as though he wasn't going to be answering any more questions. Instead it was a 'wait and see' moment, the sort of moment that drove the boy buggy.

Arick walked along the path until the people he was to meet came into sight. The man and a boy, who sat down by the tree. Ah, it was a meeting he had been looking forward to for quite some time. He had his bags full, and Sage, his Drakein, carried the load beside him.

"So, you're the man I was to meet. I'm Arick Skyeforge, and this is my trusty companion, Sage." the large Dovaa said as he pulled up alongside the tree.

"Hey." the beautiful feathered Drakein mumbled as he laid down on the ground next to the tree.

Arick gave a soft, kind smile to the man and the boy, waiting for their reply.

Junjie nearly tripped over his own feet as he surged to his feet, whirling around to stare up at the massive form of Arick and his mouth dropped open for a moment. It was him! It had been some time since he'd seen the man, having run some errands for him during his first trip to a big city. To think that the man that he had come to meet with was the same man that he met so long ago while on a trip with his mother. It was all he could do to keep from bouncing around in place even though he really, really wanted to do just that.

The boy took a coupe hurried steps forward before he quickly held the pair orbs to the man, "I was told to bring these to you!" He said in a rush, giving the feathered Drakein for a moment as it greeted him, then back again. Wow... the Drakein looked just like Abellio only of a different color! It was on the tip of his tongue to ask the one called Sage what his type was but decided that he should focus on the matter at hand. He was here for a reason after all, he could ask about the Drakein later. It was a shame that Abellio wasn't here with them but the Sage made him stay behind with Lien for the moment, saying that this was a secret meeting just for the three of them.

"I got this one all on my own." He said, motioning with the Ysali orb, "And I got this one when I went crawling through some caves with my friend!" He was never so excited, feeling as though he'd eaten a whole batch of cookies. It was excitement that caused his brown wings to set to fluttering behind him, something that caused the Dovaa Sage to sigh a little. At least they were alone at the moment.

Arick was taken aback by the little Hybrid's enthusiasm. He took the boys orbs and listened to his tale. "Sounds like you have an interesting little life, young one." he said, going to Sage's pack and placing the orbs within it.

"Thank you for gathering these for me." he continued, straightening his posture and going around to the other side of the pack. "So, how have you been since our last meeting?" he asked the boy.

He dug around the bag, finding the different weapons that he would need. He glanced up and noticed the boy's eyes. "Ah, your eyes have changed. You hadn't chosen your clan the first time we met, now you're a Ysali. A very good choice indeed. Hahaha." the man spoke, a soft chuckle emitted his lips.

He then came over with the four weapons in arm, setting them each down in front of Junjie. "Now it's your turn to choose." he said, standing and crossing his arms, looking down with a smile.

Junjie nodded his head, "I think so." He said, though he was still working at it and working on the 'something amazing' that he and Esmeralda had talked about some time ago. When the man thanked him for the orbs his wings set to fluttering behind him in delight, "I have been good, my Mom has been letting me out a little more though only around our house, but still it's been fun. I am staying on Ayr with the Sage at the moment." He added, motioning to the man that was standing by silently. He liked Ayr, it was a neat place if a bit scary at times due to the abundance of Ayrala dragons.

As the big man turned to digging through his bag he took a couple steps closer, peeking at what he was doing, eyes going a little wide as the man produced some weapons, "Ohhh..." What were those he found himself wondering before the man asked about his clan, something that made him smile and nod, "Yes! I followed the Ysali around a lot back home, learned their tricks, got a feel for they could do, and felt being like them would be a good thing." He explained, eyes on the weapons.

Soon enough they were placed before him and he found himself starring at them, "To... choose?" He murmured, wings aflutter. A weapon for him? This was exciting. They were all interesting to look at. There was a sword, something that looked like a club, a bow, and a wand of some sort. Squatting down he found himself starring at them, deep in thought, reaching a hand out to run his fingers across them. One of these was meant for him, something that would change the course of his life, and he had to make sure that he made the right choice. After a time he finally focused on the wand. It was something mean for a person who used magic, something he could use to help others, to heal others, it was what he wanted more then anything. He wanted to be one that helped, like his mother did.

Giving a nod of confirmation he looked up at Arick, "This one." He said, giving a smile as he tapped his fingertips against the wand.

"That's right. One of these weapons will be yours." the man said, looking over each one until his eyes landed back onto the Hybrid. Arick did enjoy his place in the world. To actually allow Hybrids a choice. It just seemed right to help them since many wouldn't.

"So, the wand it is, eh? A mage at heart, are you? If so, all you must say is the phrase 'I accept you', and you'll feel the surge of power run through your body. It may be overwhelming, but in time you'll learn to control these powers. The wand will begin to transform into your needs, and over time, will become something great if you wish it to." the large Dovaa said as he stood back, allowing the little Hybrid to take in the words.

Junjie gave a smile at the mention of him being a 'mage at heart' finding that he rather liked the sound of that. Once he became a mage, then what? That was the question. He supposed that he was going to have to work hard to become something more then he was at the moment. Giving a happy smile he picked up the weapon. All he had to do was say a phrase and it was his? His wings gave a little flutter, "Mmm, alright." He murmured, lifting the wand up, giving it a smile, "Alright then, wand. I accept you." He told it.

What came next was something that left him far more exhausted then any of his dragon battles, even causing him to end up on his backside, wings flapping weakly before vanishing, "Wow... that was a... rush..." He murmured, starring down at the wand that he'd been given, giving it a smile. The words that the man was saying, that the wand would transform into his needs and that over time it would become something great if he wished it. Now those were some magical words that he loved the sound of, "I will make sure that it becomes something great, I promise." He told Arick, hugging the weapon to his chest.

With this weapon, with Abellio, his Ysali clan, and his friends he felt that maybe one day he would be able to do the 'something amazing' that he vowed to his friend that he would do one day. Giving a flutter of his wings he dragged himself to his feet, wobbled, then stabilized himself before looking up at Arick, "Thank you for this, Arick. It means a lot to me." He said, holding the wand close. Yet another gift that the big Dovaa had given him, another thing that he really needed to thank him for one day.

Arick smiled as the boy did what he was told. All the power rushed through him and into the weaponry.

"Yes, take good care, little one. It will do you well in the days to come. You have the potential to go very far in life, don't ever forget that." he said with a smile. He walked to Sage's side and motioned upwards and as he did, the Drakein stood.

"Sage and I must be going soon; I have another meeting to attend to, much like this one. Do you have any other questions?" Arick said, petting Sage with a smile.

Junjie's eyes widened a little bit at the words that Arick said to him before he smiled, his wings fluffing up happily, "Wow... thank you." He had the potential to go very far in life, words that he really liked the sound of. There were many adults in his life that were always cautioning, trying to keep him in hiding, and while he meant to be cautious he wanted to be more then someone who hid all day. That Arick though that he had potential meant a lot to him, "I won't forget! I will do my best to become strong." He vowed.

When the man walked over to his Drakein, he took a couple steps after him, "Wow, you are leaving already? Alright, have a good trip." He said, giving a smile. As Arick posed the question to him, asking if he had anything other questions he thought on it for a long moment, running through everything that was going through his mind at the moment and finally asked the one question that was at the foremost in his mind, "What kind of Drakein is Sage?" He was so pretty colored that Jun just had to know!

Arick smiled as he petted the Drakein a bit. The slight cooing of enjoyment escaping the lips of the large dragon-like creature. When it heard the proposed question, Sage answered.

"I'm a Feathered Drakein. Ysali at that. So, seeing that you're Ysali as well shows me that what Arick said rings true. You will definitely go far in life." he said.

Arick nodded his head and the two turned, waving off the two before beginning to fall farther and farther into the distance.

[[ OOC: Just so you know, Sage is ACTUALLY a full-grown Drakein. xD I still need to color the newly finished FEATHERED lines for the adult to add it in there. ^-^b ]]

Junjie couldn't help but to be quite amazed when Sage spoke up, telling him that he was of the Ysali clan of Drakein. It was something that made him wish all that much more that Abellio had been allowed along, he was almost certain that he would have loved to have met with another that was like him. Maybe next time he thought to himself before he lifted a hand, waving at Arick and Sage as they started on their way to their next meeting. Once they were far enough away that he could no longer see them he turned to look over toward the Sage, "What's next?" He asked, wondering what the next step in the process of his training was. He'd gone to Ayr, fought with some of the Ayrala, gotten his orb, allowing him to become a part of the Ysali clan, and he got a weapon marking him as a mage. So what was next? Did he go home? He wasn't quite sure how he felt about that or if he was ready to go home.

The tall Dovaa starred down at the boy for a moment before he pushed away from the tree, "What do you mean what is next? We go to pick up Abellio and then we return to Ayr, you have much more training that needs to be done before you anywhere near ready to leave." He told him, finding it almost amusing that the boy had thought that he would be leaving so soon. There was so much more left to do and if he wanted to last a second in the real world outside of his mother's farm then he would need to be prepared for it.

Junjie gave a nod of his head, turning to look in the direction of home, then back to the Sage once more, "That sounds good. I think some more training is in order, especially since I just got this." He motioned with the wand that Arick had given him. He would rather be well trained before he thought about going home. It wasn't that he didn't want to go home per say it was that he was enjoying the fact that he was able to wander around Ayr a bit more, likely cause there were fewer people about, and it allowed him a greater sense of freedom. A shame that it was likely he'd never be able to do so in areas that were more populated. No matter, he had to take what he could get he supposed. Soon enough he was falling into step alongside the big Dovaa, doing his best to keep up with him, as the two of them made their way back toward home for a little visit.

(( Cool! Can't wait to see him. ^_^ ))
