Moke:
The morning was already turning in to the afternoon. Moke had was on route out side of his pride and patrolling around uncharted territories. There was no actual reason for the leopard to be on patrol other than to get some time to him self. At least that was what he supposed. That and being around the members of his fathers pride for to long could leave a bad taste in his mouth. Specially those directly related to him by blood.

Moke was ambitious. His father was king and Moke was no where near next in line. This left a sour bitter feeling in side of him. Something needed to be proven and it dug at Moke deeper and deeper every day.

A nice stream up ahead hidden by some brush seemed like the perfect place to rest his paws for a moment. The male had chosen it as a good place to sit in the shade and lap up some water while his thoughts stormed in his skull. Moke was ever to eager to prove him self in any way he could.

Imbali:

The stream had been a favorite place during the day to hang out for Imbali. She being a rogue leapordess. She had no family, no prides, noone she owed anything to. She loved her freedom. Warm days like that often made her feel bold. While she was more prone to being out later at night, nice days sometimes woke her up early. This was her favorite place to pass those afternoons. Lounging in the nice warm sun.

She flicked her tail here and there as she started to feel a little impetuous. She was getting rather bored, and she badly wanted to have some fun. She had sent her servant out to fetch her some fish from the water a while ago. She was getting quite tired of waiting.

She rolled back over onto her belly. She then pulled herself sneakily through the grass ready to swipe her arm out at the smaller feline as punishment for making her wait so long. Having been oblivious to the fact that anyone else had arrived and was nearby slipped her notice. She boldly swiped a paw out in a vicious attempt to slap that sengal. She hit nothing, so she drew it back and pressed her nose through the grass blades to smell where that stupid black cat was sitting.

Moke:

A noise of movement alerted Moke that some one was close by. He lowered him self further to the ground and grumbled now scanning the area for what he'd just heard. It sounded like the russeling of grass. Lower and lower still the leopard dropped to his belly. His ears flattened on top of his head as he slowly stalked forward.

That was until he spotted exactly what it was that must have attracted his attention in the first place. A female leopardess who looked as if she was on her own. Pfff. Women. They were of no threat to a male especially not to Moke. The leopard sat up and stared at the female quite annoyed. His tail flicked to and fro before he decided to move in a little closer.

"Pity. I thought I was alone," He yawned boredly, "But here I find some one inferior thinks they have the right to share such an area with... me."

Imbali:

The sound of grumbling at first pleased her greatly. How delightful. Exactly the reaction she might have hoped for; only she was a little confused at the tone of that growl. Why.. that didn't sound like her nearly worthless piece of help much. The sound was too deep. The sound of movement in the grass soon indicated it was in fact not her companion who had been sent to fish.

The voice that soon followed the sudden commotion of sound at first made her roll her eyes. 'Pity yourself', she thought at first. Then, upon hearind the word inferior, her eyes flashed with indignance. She then flexed her claws again and swung out to slash at this .... this.... Why... how dare anyone talk to her that way. She flung out a good swipe hoping to make contact and retract it with a fist full of fur and at least some scratched off flesh. She had missed and hissed to herself what she hoped was silently enough. "Hmph... With you? Who are you? I am not inferior to anybody. If I but had some powers; I might even be a goddess." Well, that was a stretch. Still, she'd be damned if some two bit boy was gonna come around and talk to her like that.

Moke:

The swipe of this females paw was surprising. Moke managed to guard his face with a paw but this female still managed to get a good chunk of fur from that arm of his. The leopard tried hard to hide the fact that it stung. He clenched his teeth and slowly put his paw back on to solid ground. This sort of reaction was normal where he came from but from a rogue like this to be so... alive..? Spunky? To have the gull to swipe at him. Something in side of him liked it.

"A goddess?" He chuckled a deep throated chuckle. The sort a villian might have. His tail flicked a bit.

"My my some one thinks highly of them self hmm?" He mocked. Moke was one to talk. He was a wanabe king here to mope but this was more interesting.

Imbali:

Imbali tried to act like she was ignoring him just in case he could see her though she wasn't getting a very good sight of him from where she hid at in the grass. She looked closer at the claw she had just swiped with. She almost didn't see that she had in fact snagged some fur off of that cat. It a blue that blended into her own blue, so it was nearly camoflauged. She grinned to herself.

"Of course. Who is best to think highly of someone than their own self? If you can't believe the truth about yourself; how do you expect anyone else to believe it? If you want to be the fury, you have to be the fury. But... of course.. anyone who's not quite so estute to notice his false superiority cannot hope to even grasp how glorious I am. And, oh but wait... have you actually ever met every single goddess that exists? i bet you haven't. I could very well be one of the greatest before you. You speak to me like a fool."

Her eyes had a dark light flash through them as her mouth grinned something sadistic, and she began to move through the grass towards the direction of his voice. Perhaps, she would try sneaking up on him and giving him an even worse surprise. How dare he laugh at her that way. She'd make him sorry.

Moke:

Moke let out a deep throated laugh.

"How do you even know there are such things my dear?" He grinned, "Have you met every single God and Goddess in the land?" Moke made sure to linger a bit on the word God. "How do you not know you're dealing with a god your self?" His tail lashed back and forth. This game was more fun than moping. He highly approved.

"My dear. I my self have never come across the devine my self but if you were a goddess I'm sure you'd had known I was lurking. Being all devine and such. You'd be able to see my wicked heart and kill me on the spot. That is how I am sure you are not.. indeed. .. as you deem your self... a.. goddess." Moke grinned mostly to him self. He reached out a giant leopard paw of his own, cackled, and swipped wher Imbali once was only to find the leopardess had moved. She had been one step ahead of him. Moke exposed him self by standing up and looking quite confused. His eyes scanned for her.

Imbali:

If it hadn't been for the fact she was already preparing his next round of punishment for his blasphemy already, she took even more offence at his continuing statements. Though to honest at heart, she knew it was actually true that she had never seen, heard from or even known of acts of any god in their world. Neither god nor goddess had ever blessed her life, cursed her life, or brought anything to it. Indeed she got by through life on her charms. Charming the males and females alike wherever her journeys had taken her. Always entraping others and exploiting whatever services or willingness to do her biding till they tired of her. Then, they all left. Leaving her the tiring and boring task of finding someone new. Even worse, it left her in times of her life she was forced to do it herself. Not that she couldn't do it herself and better than anyone else. It was only doing that took so much energy. She much preferred the life of making others do it for her. Yes. That was much better.

She sneered. She nearly replied immediately out loud to his statements. She stopped herself before a sound left her lips. She dared not give away her position. Then, as she pounced a paw on the spot where his tail attached the rest of his body she lunged a real good swipe. It was probably not the most vicisous she could hit. She saved that for life and death situations. Can't let her beautiful self get out of control and mired by thick congulated blood and the like after all. "I'll give you the fact that I would indeed kill you on the spot for your wicked heart. There you say it yourself.."

She then laughed and snickered as she followed her swipe with a full on pounce on his back. "If you were a god yourself, you would have known at first sight how amazing and breathtaking I am. You would rather have attempted to beguile me to be your follower rather than stoop to your stupid hypthosis you come up with." And, truth be told, while she found what he said offensive; the fighting made her adrenaline rush like something fierce.

Moke:

Moke had been grumbling and scanning the area when something hit his tail followed by a full blown assault on his back. The leopard roared in displeasure. She was speaking but the now enraged leopard only picked up bits and pieces of it through his rage. He couldn't quite reach her up on his back with his own claws but he could attempt to buck which was what he did. It was disgraceful to hae a female gotten the best of him like this. He'd not even managed to injure this female. She'd gotten a few hits and was no on his back.

"You're the furthest thing from a goddess!" He roared as he continued to buck. That was until he spyed a tree. Angrily the leopard charged for it. He'd throw him self at this tree to get her off his back.

Imbali:

She was a little surprised at suddenly thudding against a tree. She hadn't actually expected him to have much of a worth response. Clearly she had underestimated him. His lack of responses appeased her pride for enjoying him not make more insults. However, she felt even more surprise at her disappointment in the lack of any retort.

That brief moment of thought was interrupted when the moment before she fell down the tree and hit the ground from forgetting to cling her claws into the tree for help. The sudden force with which her head hit the ground nearly hurt her more than thudding the tree. Of course, none of her truly hurt much. She had worse fights than that in her life. Still, it was really messing her fur up. The tree had lots of little pieces of bark that were stuck in her fur, and her previously glistening coat was in layers of dust. She rolled over on the ground and shook her head. She rubbed it with a paw to pat it quickly in order to make sure there weren't any surface wounds.

Since that was ok, she then slid her eyes to glare at him. Then she finally had a good look at him. She began to attempt to size him up. She waited for further recoil from him. She snickered and smirked to herself. "Yeah... that's the best you got? I don't think you're proving your previously stated superiority very well." She turned her head, so her smirk was in the air above the grass, loud and clear.

Moke:

The tree impact also did a bit of a number to Moke. He felt a good bit of the force and found him self laying on the ground in front of the tree and in front to this loud mouthed egotistical.. beauty? She was not at her best but even under the dust and the fur damage she was pretty which actually surprised Moke a bit. Not that it mattered with the insults she slurred his way. He was still right cross with her and just because she was pretty hot didn't mean she hadn't caused great insult to Mokes ego. Mokes ego was his one true love.

"You ..." He panted. He'd used a good deal of energy trying to throw this leopardess off his back. Insults would have to wait while he caught his breath.

Moke him self probably also looked like he'd been a lot. This was not one of his better days and his features did not help with the scowl he carried.

"I don't need to prove anything to you," He tossed his head up and looked down his nose at her before he started to lick at the wound on his arm. It had started to bleed a bit.

"Women.." He muttered.
