Reason for being in the DWMA: Hikaru is at death meister weapon academy to merely become a death scythe. He also has other reasons but likes to keep it a secret.

Bio: While most of Hikaru's past is a mystery to most people he does tell some people that he believes is a true friend. From what he has told them, Hikaru had a terrible relationship with his parents. His father would constantly abuse him and his mother would constantly as well if she was drunk. Though not just him but his mother had also been abused by Hikaru's father. Though both him and his mother were abused Hikaru had enough and decided to run away, his mother stayed with his father. This was all when he was fourteen, when a year passed he returned home after living on the cruel streets. It turns out that his mother finally stood up to his father and left him for another man, he was a lot more caring and loving. Finally Hikaru was proud of his family when his mother had become sober and the two fixed their relationship through therapy, though he disliked the idea of anyone knowing about his terrible father who was a drunk as well as the way his mother was once. Up to this day he has some scars that he keeps hidden given to him from his terrible father. When he reached sixteen he got some terrible news and joined the academy right away, it was what he always wanted but he only went their right away because an urgent matter had happened. Secretly his father had become a kishin, it was now up to Hikaru to find and murder the man who caused his family so much grief. After some time passed he had begun to think he would never be able to stop his father after he had run into him during one of his missions. It ended pretty badly after his father had broken several of his bones and left his son to die. The mission was a failure since his teammates had to bring Hikaru back. To this day he still feels the sting of being a burden. Now he will stop at nothing to become stronger and stop his father no matter the cost.

+ Soul Perception
+ Water Manipulation - Hikaru has an elemental affinity with water and thus can utilize this gift in order to fight in combat. He can use water to launch projectiles and form things out of water in order to harm his enemies. Since Hikaru has such a strong connection with this element he can control snow and ice as well since they are basically different forms of water.
+ Swift Beheading - Hikaru should he be in his blade form or have used weapon materialization begins to emit a blue aura and soon the blade will grow in length, then it can cut through anything with ease due to it's empowered state. It sends a quick and wide slash that takes the form of a thin blue crescent moon of energy that travels up to a certain distance, it can be stopped but it's not likely. The meister can send multiple swift beheadings but it takes a lot of practice. Hikaru can use this technique by himself but it won't be as effective if he doesn't have a meister helping him.
+ Swift Sting - Hikaru extends the end of his blade to a very great length in a matter of seconds, this happens within a blink of an eye. It is a deadly technique that is tough to dodge given the speed at which the sword extends.
+ Weapon Materialization - Without the help of a witch's soul Hikaru can go beyond and actually summon his weapon form. He is able to use all of his techniques successfully and with great power alone however his techniques could become stronger should he decide to get a partner. In order to summon his weapon form he must take a fragment of his soul and transform that into the weapon itself. Should the blade break the fragment of his soul will naturally flow back into him unless another force changes that.

Personality: -He can be hard to get along with at first but when you get to know him he can be really kind hearted and caring. Though one thing will never change he always like to be the one who is right and will rarely change this part about him. Most people usually just find out about him when they get to know him.-
