An old, and well sustained clan within the many that populate the Ninja world; but the Minamoto have something more unique to their name that the majority of others do not, time. For the Minamoto are as experienced in politics and tactics than most other clans within the Ninja world, the origin of this clan was that of a mutation in Chakra Manipulation; when a Ninja known today only as "The Shifter" was able to push and pull solid matter when prompted to do so with ought but his Chakra; since that time the title of "The Shifter" has been passed down upon generation after generation to the strongest of the quickly rising Minamoto people, their abilities and professions gaining them favor and reputation among the many existing clans of the world we know today.
This small seed grew into that of a very well known power now sustaining itself within the governing body of Kumogakure; with Dakuenjeru Minamoto at the head of the Minamoto Spear as son of the previous Shifter "Arashi Minamoto"...A clan who's seat of power was determined long ago by deeds committed to the safe keeping of their allies and civilian population; this clan has a well deserves record of honor in safe guarding all within its embrace, and will not hesitate to protect that from the watchful eyes of all enemies nearby.

Distortion Release: A similar result in Nature Combination to the well known Magnet Release, Distortion Release grants the user the ability to push and pull matter depending on size and grade of discharge. This is achieved by the density and pressure which is unique to each member of the clan; Dense enough to push objects to the user's desire as well as enough to pull objects the user themselves touch when coated with the black hazy chakra itself; The output itself can be channeled to either limbs, radius or ark of effect depending on manner of use.

Background:
The primary technique for all Minamoto to learn is the Fang Technique, a fighting style derived from the origins of the Minamoto and perfected into a hybrid of both Taijutsu & Ninjutsu. Coating the users limbs of choice in the hazy black Distortion Chakra, the user can manipulate their Distortion Chakra to discharge outwards on demand, making this Technique the primary Jutsu for a Minamoto to access other Distortion techniques.
In addition, the user's physical impact damage dealing is increased by discharging a certain amount of Distortion Chakra into the foe; causing increased damage to the area of impact and in some cases if the discharge is powerful enough; It will damage the inner body or even go right through the victim if utilized by a high ranking ninja of the Minamoto.

- Must have large Chakra Pool
- Must have been born within Lightning Country
