Guren creates a large mirror in the shape of a snowflake, which she can then use to perform the Jade Crystal Clone Technique.

This technique allows Guren to cover her skin with a thin sheet of crystal that improves her defence against physical attacks. This armour can also aid Guren to perform stronger physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it.
•Jade Crystal Clone Technique ~ C Rank After she performs the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Mirror technique, Guren can make multiple clones of herself emerge from the mirror. These clones are made of crystal, as after Hinata Hyūga defeated one, it crumbled back into crystal. Clones made by this technique are also able to deceive Byakugan users because of the reflective nature of the clone. However by focusing their sight, this can be circumvented.

Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

Henge no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
• Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing ~ E Rank
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
•Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique ~ D Rank
This technique conceals the user underground and drags the object of their attack down into the earth, robbing them of their freedom. In addition, they can start another attack.
•Chakra Transfer Technique ~ D Rank
This technique allows the user to transfer chakra to another person. For example, Tsunade and Katsuyu used this technique in tandem during Pain's invasion of Konoha, with Tsunade first transferring her healing chakra to Katsuyu, and then Katsuyu herself transferring it to the wounded villagers.
•Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks ~ B Rank
The user puts his hand on the surface of a body of water and from the tips of five fingers, chakra is released into the water, changing it into the form of five ferocious sharks. The sharks circle the target with high speed, creating a raging stream that takes away their prey's freedom of movement and their sharp teeth tear into the enemy with each consecutive attack. In the anime, these sharks can regenerate from surrounding water, making them difficult to destroy.

This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it very useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique.

Background:
Early life to Genin.
At his birth his mother was killed by him. Well, not literally but, her body couldn't take the birth and she died as a side affect of his birth. When his mother died his father knew that he couldn't take care of Ryuu so, his father brought him to a orphanage. This is where he would live for most of his beginning life. All he wanted to do as a kid was become a ninja but, the orphanage wouldn't allow him to go to the academy for some reason. They never told him why he couldn't go but, he wasn't going to let them hold him back from full filling his dream of becoming a great ninja. One day he decided that he was going to train by himself and try his best to become a ninja. The first thing he did was get a book about handseals and how to do them. That was the first thing he ever did and it was amazing to him. The hand seals were a door into his new life. When he was returning the book a man approached him and offered Ryuu a place at the academy. Ryuu explained to the man that the orphanage would never allow him to join the academy and the man offered to speak to them. Ryuu agreed to this and the man talked to the leaders of the orphanage. The next day Ryuu was in the academy. This was around the age of 12 when he finally was able to join the academy and he did his best in the academy. He wasn't the best student but, he always gave it 120%. He had to repeat the academy 3 years in a row but, his fourth year was the best year yet. He was able to pass the academy and he was going to be put on a genin team. This made him extremely happy and he couldn't wait to be put on the team.
Genin to current life.
When the genin teams were being assigned, he unfortunately wasn't put on a team. No body told him why and he was left to be embarrassed. He was laughed at constantly for it but, it didn't bother him. He knew that he would just have to train harder. If he wasn't put on a team it was because he wasn't good enough and he was going to push himself to his limits. This is when he came up with his nindo and he follows it to this day but, during the year that he wasn't on a team he found something out. He found out that he had the ability to use crystals and make them into things. He wanted to be a Medic-Nin but, he knew that this ability would help him greatly. After more training Ryuu asked to be put on a team and finally he was put on a team.
