We cant all have sad stories now can we? Bane’s origins were bleak right from his birth. As the son of criminal Sir Edmund “King Snake” Durance, Bane was forced to serve his father’s life sentence in prison on the island of Santa Prisca after his mother gave birth to him and died from complications. Growing up Bane proved to be very intelligent, having a photographic memory and memorized every book in the prison library while also training his body. As he grew he became stronger and more ruthless, killing a fellow prisoner at the age of eight and later an elderly Jesuit priest who had been one of the people who taught the young Bane. Eventually Bane established himself as “King” of the prison, gaining the attention of the controllers of the prison who forced him to undergo a procedure involing a new super drung known as “Venom”.
Bane proved strong enough physically and mentally to survive the procedure, allowing him to use Venom circulating through his blood to vastly increase his muscle mass. With this strength he broke out of prison years later and would head towards Gotham City, interested in a town where, like the prison he had lived in, fear ruled. Upon learning of the infamous Batman, Bane was convinced the image of a demonic bat that plagued his dreams growing up was a symbol of the Dark Knight and planned to defeat him. Unlike most villains however Bane was smart enough to know that a frontal attack would be foolish and thus went to Arkham Asylum, freeing many of its inmates and setting them after Batman, observing as the multiple fights wore him down. When the time was right Bane himself attacked the exhausted Batman and, in his most famous act, lifted the Dark Knight over his head then slammed him onto his knee, breaking his spine and leading to Bane’s nickname of “The Man Who Broke the Bat”. However Bane’s victory would not be long lasting as Bruce Wayne passed the mantle to Jean-Paul Valley who was also the deadly Azrael, Jean’s violent way of fighting came to defeat Bane after he cut the tubes circulating Venom through Bane’s body, causing him to suffer severe withdrawal and was left barely alive and broken by Jean.
However if Bane is one thing it’s determined and he managed to slowly recover his strength and even knocked his addiction to Venom. Now though he still has it for extreme fights he mostly relies on his own physical strength and intellect to overcome his foes. Though he seemed to turn towards more positive ways, even working with Batman in the past, he eventually realized who he truly was. He gave his chilling revelation as he broke the back of the superhero, Judomaster, killing him and saying, “I finally know who I am. I am Bane, I break people.” Now, with a new and more powerful strain of Venom, Bane sets his eyes on a new prize, Jump City and vows to leave its heroes, the Teen Titans, as the latest people who he has broken, especially Nightwing.
My power lies with-in: Genius-level intellect, Eidetic memory, polymath, knows multiple languages, expert escape artist and strategist, high strength speed, and durability even without Venom being able to normally lift/press up to 1,500lbs. With Venom his strength, speed, and durability are all enhanced many times, allowing him to lift up to 3 tons. With Venom he also has superhuman healing
What I carry with me: Venom (Learning his lesson from earlier fights the tubes supplying him with Venom are close to his body and are harder to cut), firearms, and a knife.

Any extra information: As mentioned above Bane has overcome the severe withdrawal he would suffer if cut off from Venom allowing him to fight even if the tubes have been cut or disconnected. He is also one of two people that Ra’s Al Ghul has considered to be a potential heir to succeed him, the other being none other than Bruce Wayne. He is also one of the few villains to know that Batman is Bruce Wayne, which he used to his advantage during the infamous Knightfall storyline to attack him at his home and “Break the Bat”.
